I can affirm how tiring it can be sometimes to see another skeleton, Boss Monster, or other existing monster OC. Sanses are the most egregious. Overinvestment and following a bandwagon too much can lead to big problems in character writing.
It's understandable for a creator to want their creations to be noticed, but there are other ways to do it other than abusing a gimmick.
Undertale and Deltarune have shown plenty of opportunities for strange and interesting character concepts to work with. I would encourage this fandom to look beyond the scope of what's already there to create their own monster characters or to draw references that aren't strictly from the games themselves. It is good to keep them in mind, but diversifying your inspirations into mythology or the real world can bring a lot of depth that even other art can't.
For another suggestion, consider the other characters aside from the skelebros, the humans, or even the Dreemurrs. There's Muffet, Flowey, Grillby, Undyne, Alphys, and more within Undertale alone to make more fan works with. If you must have another fan or AU character, why not work with them?
We may have opened up with fan favorites of UTMV to introduce Sagaverse, but we plan on delivering far more than the generic gimmicks this fandom has overrelied on. These two approaches are just two examples we've done to really refresh our cast. Whether by our own hand or carefully adapting another's with permission, that is what we want to strive for.
Consider this an invitation to expand your creative muscles, Undertale and Deltarune fans. Be weird, be wild, and most of all, blitz your own trail. You don't have to follow our trail, and we don't expect you to.

People asked me why I hate Sans.
I don't lol. Even the SagaVerse main casts are almost all Sanses, but none of them are our OCs.
I just wished there was more creativity in the fandom than simply making it SansTale/SansVerse and wanting to make it hip and cool to get that needed approval by the fandom.
Let's face it. There are some people out there who make Sans OCs just so others can notice them even in the slightest bit of "Oh cool". When in reality the person didn't have a care about the character they're making at all, they just want the clout and the needy fame.
Am I being negative? Yes, yes I am.
But that's what a rant is about lmao

My Super Awesome Powerpuff Girls OCs
Despite the 24% of people who didn't want me to unveil these bad boys, I'm doing it anyway. People who followed my Instagram will already have met these fellas but I'm bringing them here anyway!
This is Bullet (no relation to the squirrel that was introduced in season 4, I'd created Bullet before seeing that episode but a Powerpuff with a gun was too funny to reject), she thinks of herself as an unofficial/honorary member of the PPG. They initially used their abilities to fight crime before the girls could but have become less of an asshole over time. Her sense of justice is VERY strong.
Professor Samuel Clyde Miller, Clyde for short, is the socially-awkward creator of Bullet who initially made her to impress his ex-girlfriend Stacey. He's generally well-meaning but his hypersensitivity, tendency to exaggerate his relationships with others and obsession with Metallica makes it hard to connect with others easily. When he's not looking after his superpowered edgy kid or moderating r/Metallica, Clyde works as a Professor of Chemical Engineering and gives university lectures (did work for a nuclear plant at some point)
Stacey (surname pending) is Clyde's best friend and ex-girlfriend who also works in STEM. She's an inventor who's very passionate about the craft and will drop everything to make something that she views as valuable. Stacey is optimistic, kind and friendly to other people even though she's constantly burnt out. Due to coming from a family full of scientists, Stacey feels like there's more pressure on her to be brilliant and she spends many sleepless nights tweaking her work to perfection but will neglect her own wellbeing. Fortunately, she recently realized that she's overworking herself and has begun seeking private help for the issues caused by her perfectionism
Bandaid (can be written as B4ND_41D) is part of a collaborative effort between Stacey and hospitals in Townsville to create a robot nurse. They were conceived during the outbreak of a nasty virus that was spreading to the hospital staff. The goal was to create a nurse that would be able to treat patients efficiently, with care and without catching any illnesses that could spread in a medical environment. After a hacking incident, though, there's still a lot of work that needs to be done.

Random fact that Bullet's hoodie is a personal comfort item she wears because it was a gift from Clyde. Obviously he's given them other stuff too, the hoodie is just very special to her.

For a bit more info about each character:
Madeir is very nice and optimistic: often forgetting the harsher realities of the world and becoming sad as a result. She hates "bad" people, and loves baking. Her name is a pun on the dessert "Madeira". She is the resident fan-fic author of the group and absolutely has a thriving troll-tumblr blog. Incapable of hating people or truly being angry. Hype-man and cheerleader. Witch of heart.
Minnax is a major fucking nerd pretending to be cool and evil. He cosplays as his favourite word search mascot and spends all his time solving puzzles and telling riddles to his friends. He tries his hardest to act like an "evil villan", but he does not at all have the guts for it. Declared himself as Madeir's rival in an attempt to seem more evil. Thief of void.
Monoce has been briefly mentioned before in Pelagi's post, but I'm properly going to talk about her here! She's obsessed with winning, being number one, and generally being better than others: she is competitive as all hell and a cocky bastard who thinks she can fistfight god and win. She has a generally very short temper and hates being insulted (even though she insults others every chance she gets), and only Pelagi can insult her without her blowing up. She likes appearing as the lone-wolf and avoids connecting with others. Seer of hope.
Ranhya is the brains of the group and also mostly responsible for the plot. She has a habit of being stupidly cryptic and indirect; basically only ever answering in questions and never showing her emotions. Her speciality lies in psychology and personality, and she can be quite manipulative when she wants to be. Although she lacks empathy, she still cares for her friends and is the main one trying to fix things: she doesn't let her mistakes go easily. Do not get on her bad-side. Mage of mind.

So, I found out that at TV Tower P.B.'s toppins are quite standard. No, it’s not bad, actually it's cute, but I had a thought: “What would P.B.’s “toppins” look like if they were adapted to his profession as a mechanic?” 🤔
Therefore, I came up with something like fan characters in form of instruments (not all of them, of course, because there are too many of them).

Okay I just had to make another outsiders OC- couldn’t help it 😭
If it wasn’t already obvious, I made him the little brother of Paul Holden, I wanted to make like a repeat of Darry and Paul being buddies in the past with Keith and Ponyboy almost like a next generation thing, but better since they keep their friendship 0:
Some short info:He loves football but not as much as science, wants to focus more on biology in the future since he feels like he’s forced himself to want to play football for his future, he loves football, just doesn’t want to do it for his life. Unlike Nancy, Keith is like every other Soc, he’s actually semi popular among the socs, but in the end he realizes being a jerk is not for him, at first he didn’t care but after seeing some jumping of greasers and such, he kinda felt like it was unnecessary, and didn’t like the fights/rumbles.
He actually has a good life until he decides to make a change because he doesn’t want to keep up the life he has anymore, since he’s dealt with fake friends, and distrust among his own gang, sending his social fame in school kinda go down but not completely.
Paul and Keith would have some issues, and Keith wants to hate his older brother, but deep down he can’t fully or he feels confused/conflicted because they had a decent relationship, and I don’t doubt Paul Holden wouldn’t be happy about a family of his being friendly, or bumping shoulders with greasers. In short he’s got brother issues 💀
He’d become friends with Ponyboy after some weeks/maybe months after his change in a way, they’d be best buddies, he’d probably like to hang out with pony and Johnny when he could, try to protect him them from the other Socs if possible.
He would not like Steve either, thinks he’s dramatic and thinks Two-bit is cool/Tuff, as well as soda pop. I could see him being Ex friends with Bob and Randy.
Alright, I’ll draw more of Nancy and him soon,and Ponyboy! Though the height chart will come first, alright that’s all I got for this moment.

I showed Nancy being tall in the other doodles I did, but I really wanted to show how actually tall she was for her age😭-
So yeah she’s tall-tall, she got it mostly from her family which is why she’s so tall in the first place, and more taller than average girls kinda makes her not fit in with the other Socs, with her being a slight big girl, I doubt though Ponyboy would care about that, I can kinda picture Ponyboy being a lovebird with a S/O after he figures out the relationship, since it’s stated in the book, he doesn’t dig girls like soda does? I think I’m not sure 💀
But yeah, she’s tall like Darry-
And she definitely doesn’t mind picking Ponyboy up or giving him piggyback rides.
AND SOME FAN ART FOR @fictionalcharactergraveyard , I finally got around and did it, I love their Oc’s so much, I decided to draw Vincent this time around, with my OC Keith, Keith is…skeptical of Socs but he’s not like Nancy since he was semi popular before hand, so once seeing Vincent is over all a nice guy, he’d want to become friends with him if Vincent wants to.
Nancy would be…kinda skeptical than Keith around Vincent, even if she doesn’t show it. She’s actually very worried around other Socs, kinda dislikes the Socs, not to mention, almost targeted a few times, and only likes to stick around Ponyboy, So yeah she’d probably be a bit distrusting but still would be friendly towards Vincent, but once seeing Vincent is nice and all, like Keith, she wouldn’t mind being around him.
im planning now to drop some artworks of Ponyboy and Nancy’s dynamics and Keith’s now, and fanart for others when I can! So see yall🏃♀️
(Also I’m not so sure about Ponyboy’s height so if it’s wrong I’m sorry 😭)
