Y'know, sometimes I forget that not everyone was playing Genshin Impact when Scaramouche first dropped.
They didn't see him successfully gain some kind of world shattering knowledge that told him the sky of Teyvat is a false sky.
They didn't see him menacing Fatui despite barely coming up to their chests.
They didn't see the Traveller and Paimon actually being quite comfortable and even friendly with him upon their first meeting.
They didn't get to see Fischl being just as content to be friends with him.
Some people didn't see Mona take a single glance at this man, immediately pick up on his atrocious vibes, and fully fucking TELEPORT herself, Fischl, Paimon, and the Traveller up a fucking cliff to get away from him.
(In the wake of which he quietly cackled to himself about how lucky we were because he was literally about to kill us.)
And I just think that's kinda neat.
