The Anniversary

Hiccup & Astrid celebrate the day they came Offical together and rember all the memories they have Made together.

"Hiccup, where are we going?" Astrid asked, laughing, her husband's warm hands over her eyes. “You’ll see, Honey. You'll like it," Hiccup whispers in her ear and immediately gave her a small kiss on the cheek, which made his wife giggle briefly. “Just a little bit more and we’ll be there.” He slowly took his hands away from her eyes and gently ran them over her arms. "Happy anniversary." Astrid put her hands over her mouth, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. It was so wonderful. In the middle of the cliff, surrounded by some fir trees hung with glowing lanterns, there was a table for two, full of delicious food. In the middle of all these delicacies stood a carved wooden statue of two dragons snuggled up close to each other and painted over with gold paint. Toothless and Stormfly. She carefully ran her fingers over the miniature of her beloved friends, a small tear rolled down her cheek. "Oh, Hiccup, it's wonderful, I love it." She ran into her husband's arms and wrapped her arms around his neck, lovingly stroking his beard with one hand. “Only the best for my wife and the Chieftess.” Astrid smiled and sheepishly pushed a long strand of her blonde hair out of her face. “May I please, M’Lady?” Hiccup grinned and pointed to the richly laid table whose glasses shimmered in the sunset like thousands of small diamonds. “And if you’re allowed to.” She interrupted her husband and the two of them sat down at the table. The two enjoyed the delicious food and watched the sun disappear behind the horizon with each passing minute. Small fireflies rose from the grass and, together with the silver glow of the crescent moon, illuminated the deep black night. The sky was an onyx-colored carpet dotted with thousands of stars. Hiccup cleared his throat and held out his hand to his wife. "May I ask for this dance?" Another broad smile appeared on Astrid's face as her husband hugged her tightly and the two began to dance slowly. A warm pinch slid through Astrid's braided hair as she leaned against Hiccup's chest. “You know, I missed that. For once, no children. No obligations. Just the two of us.” He placed his thumb under her chin and brought her face close to his. "Me too, Astrid."The next moment she felt his warm lips on hers, his hands moving from her waist to her hips. She put her arms around his neck and hugged him tighter. She wanted to feel him, very close to her. They deepened their kiss. With every touch he became more passionate and hungrier. Astrid felt the heat rising within her, the pure desire for physical closeness. For a brief moment the two separated from each other. Hiccup leaned his forehead against hers and smiled mischievously. “I think now it’s time for my present,” Astrid smiled. “I can’t wait,” Hiccup said softly. He didn't waste another moment and lifted her into his arms like a bride while Astrid caressed him with her lips. Without being able to think any further clearly, the two went into their house and up to their bedroom. Hiccup carefully laid Astrid down on the large bed and then leaned over her again to kiss her. "Are you ready?" "With you always," she whispered and brought his lips back to hers.

A little later the two found themselves snuggled up together under their blankets. Astrid's head rested on Hiccup's chest and she gently ran her fingertips over the runes on his bare chest that spelled her name. She smiled contentedly. "You have to admit my gift was just as good as yours." Hiccup lovingly stroked her shoulders, which he wrapped his arm around. "Especially because you've been giving this to me since our first anniversary." She laughed and leaned over him, the blanket sliding down a little from her chest and exposing a small part of her breasts. “You do the romantic thing and I’ll take care of everything after that. That‘s how its going every year.” His hand ran down her back, grazing her shoulder plate where the tattoo with his name was. “And it’s a treat every year,” he smiled, running his thumb over the soft skin of her cheek. With these words, the two melted back into a deep kiss. “Do you remember the evening we finally got together?” Astrid asked. Hiccup smiled, his hand sliding down her back and resting on her hip. “How can I forget that. That was one of the most beautiful evenings of my life.” Astrid cuddled up to him again, her fingers glided over his torso, which was covered with scars, and caressed the fine contours of his abdominal muscles. "I can't believe it's been so long." He pressed a gentle kiss to her temple. "I feel the same way. I remember that day I was so afraid that Gothi wouldn't find a cure that would allow you to see again." "I was also afraid that I would be in the dark forever. That I could never look into your eyes again.” She paused for a moment and waited for his reaction. But he just stroked her hips, she sighed relaxed and just enjoyed his touch on her bare skin. “Do you remember the first flight on Toothless?” he asked with a mischievous grin. Astrid turned bright red with embarrassment. “Please don’t remind me of my fifteen year old self. I was horrible...and mean." "Oh come on, Astrid. You were just…own.” She laughed. “Oh, that’s what you call my angry outbursts back then. Unlike me, you were just cute. You still are now.” Hiccup had a hard time suppressing another grin. "I was really weird." "In a cute way," Astrid corrected him. He watched as she traced his scars until her gaze slid to his shoulder where he had the Strikeclass symbol as a tattoo, which again had a red tail fin, in memory of his best friend. With that thought, he took her arm and briefly glanced at the small tattoo of a Deadly Nadder who looked like his wife's beloved Stormfly. He kissed the little mark. “I miss our dragons,” he whispered, a sad tone in his voice. “I miss them too but…” “They’re safe and that’s the main thing,” he finished her sentence with a faint hint of a smile. In response, she snuggled closer to him. “You know, that somehow makes me think of our moonlight flight together when we set out to look for oil for your “secret project.” His eyes flashed back to that one very special evening on this deserted island. It was the first night they made love. Hiccup's hand crawled up her hip back to her waist. Their eyes met as he leaned over her again. "If you remind me of that night..." Astrid smiled in relief as their lips touched again and she snuggled into his embrace.

After I Listen To The Berkcast Again About The Live-Action. I Rembered That Universal Also Made Oppenheimer

After I listen to the Berkcast again about the Live-Action. I rembered that Universal also made Oppenheimer so I have a Little Bit faith in this Even its a Remake and I‘m so sick of Live-Action Remakes. It‘s the Last One I‘d give a Chance, so I hope it will be good But Not better as the Original, which isn’t possible, that this can‘t be better. But we will See if its really his own Movie. Just for the record its a DreamWorks Remake Not Disney, so we can’t say its going to be Bad before we actually see it. But it would be cool if people of the crew who also worked on Oppenheimer were included.

I wish Dean DeBlois (he understands his work as Director & Writer very Well) all the best for this even though I think he just directed this, because if anyone other would do it, it would be shit. I hope this is the case, because he still stands to his point that he hates Live-Action Remakes according to an interview I‘ve read months ago and let’s not forget he Loves this Film-Trilogy as much as we are.

So good luck, I guess.

A Loveletter To The How To Train Your Dragon-Trilogy
A Loveletter To The How To Train Your Dragon-Trilogy
A Loveletter To The How To Train Your Dragon-Trilogy

A Loveletter to the How to train your Dragon-Trilogy

I love this trilogy so much because it is a safe place for me, this world is a safe place, these characters are a safe place. I am eighteen years old and still doubting myself sometimes. Growing up is not easy and this trilogy shows us that perfectly. It thought us that letting go isn’t a weakness, it’s a strength. It thaught us to do things your own way, to discover yourself and your strengths. It thaught us that true friendship will never end. That true love can exist in our worlds, it doesn’t matter if it’s romantic love or love between friends. Love is Love. Since the first movie we witness how Hiccup finds his own way and comes into his own, to become a Chief, a friend, a soldier, a husband and a father. His whole story touches me so deeply because I see myself in him, this is also why I love the whole trilogy and the shows and short films equally. They tell his story. I believe there is a Hiccup in every one of us. This whole Franchise has just giving me a feeling of pure joy and it feels like Home for me. After seeing all these movies and shows after a so long (and seeing them a hundred times) it was like coming home, that a part of me will always feel joy when I think about httyd. I am dealing with Depression so for me it’s like a little saving grace when I see or hear something httyd releated. It became part of my life again and I am so grateful that it is. It’s for me at least one of the best stories in cinematic history that were ever told. I don’t care if there is now Sipder Verse, for me httyd will always have the status as a superior trilogy, that I love to revisit and think about. It isn’t just a trilogy of movies or a simple TV-Show to a movie, it’s a journey about growing up. I have a lot love for this trilogy because I basically grew up with it alongside the Trilogies Madagascar, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda. I have so much love for this franchise in general, I just really enjoy it for what it is: a magnificent story about a boy and his dragon, who became best friends and will forever friends even if millions of miles parted them. Hiccup and Toothless will always love each other even if they are separated for their own safety, they grow together and they will always remember one another and the beautiful memories they share. There will always be something that connects them. IT’S YOU AND ME, BUD. ALWAYS. This why I love all of The movies and shows (tolerate T9R now to some degree) and it’s sometimes hard for me to see, when people hate on this movies and shows. Especially on the hidden world. I know not everyone likes it but they have to understand it’s hard to see for someone who loves it. I heard from some people that the hate in the fandom kinda destroyed their existence with httyd. I personally don’t want that because httyd appeals to some many and means to so many others so much. It kinda makes me sad to see, because httyd gives me one of the best feelings of enjoyment and inspiration that I never felt before. I know I can’t change some minds, but I just want to say all this, because everyone deserves understanding and respect. I know I posted in the past some hatred stuff against T9R and I regret everything of it, because I can now understand and feel with these people.

Last but not least I hope this franchise will again bring some more people together and the same happiness I feel with it. In some kind of way we share all the same love. We love the httyd franchise. ❤️‍🔥

Never let the dragon flames burn out in your heart, it will always be there in good and bad times. We have all THE HEART OF A CHIEF, AND THE SOUL OF A DRAGON.

DreamWorks Animation SKG (Spielberg, Katzenberg, Geffen)

I am recently really worried about DreamWorks Animation because of their many lay offs and the fact that they will do Animation not in House anymore. It’s just sad to see this fantastic company suffer. I honestly think it wasn’t the best idea to make the guy, who is responsible for the minions the head of a studio that isn’t like Illumination at all. Its like Universal wants DreamWorks to be Illumination, but this wouldn’t work. I am also very worried about the upcoming httyd remake, which I personally don’t need or think it’s necessary, but I take it any day over a fourth movie. I know DreamWorks is the King of Sequels and maybe also the King of Trilogies, because their Trilogies come better together as full stories as some from other studios. I just instantly hope that they don’t go the way Disney goes with its endless remakes or Illumination with its fun but not really heartwarming movies. DreamWorks has their own animation style and they made some of the greatest animated movies ever. I really hope they recover from this Dark Age and get back their greatness and glory. I hope this company will continue to exists even if I’ve been an old woman at these days. They really deserve to get their amazingly well trained animators back. I mean what is DreamWorks without its many talented animators, who do hard work to make the movies reality that we love today.

Animation is not only an entertainment for younger audiences, it’s a medium, a form of art and Storytelling that can appeal to every age group. Stories that are unique and wonderful in their own way and doesn’t need to have any sort of live action remake.

Can I just say that I absolutely love the overarching theme for HTTYD3 (or one of several). The idea that with love comes loss but love is still worth it. It’s not teaching this fairytale-ish notion that love heals all or love is the answer to everything and with love all of your problems are solved. There is, of course, a time and a place for those types of stories but this…This god damn so-called animated children’s film is teaching the notion that love and loss are a package deal. You cannot have one without the other; it’s unavoidable, it’s literally impossible and that sucks but that doesn’t make love any less worth it even for the short time that it might occur. That is such an important lesson to learn over the course of your life and the fact that it’s in a god damn kids movie is so amazing to me. It’s one of the most mature lessons I’ve ever seen in a children’s film.

That along with learning how to let go and knowing when to let go and learning that…you know what? Sometimes you really do have to let go of things/people you love…my god, I love this film.

Httyd3: The Hidden World

Httyd3: the hidden world

I personally disagree with a lot of people who say this movie is bad, because I personally really enjoyed it. I watched it ten or eleven times total, if you count the first time I saw it. It has a really great, mature story with an excellent message about love and loss and letting go. Love was always a theme in the trilogy but here they scored with it in every way possible with the fact that every character is bond to it, like Hiccup and Astrid or Hiccup and Toothless. There is some reality to this movie that makes it on doubtfully beautiful and let it feel more realistic, because with the theme of loss everyone has a story to tell. Love and Loss always comes as a backache, you can’t have the one without the other.

I hope I will show with this post, how much my friends and I love this movie, even though we have our little nitpicks. We think that it gets too much unesassarcy hate. Maybe some day they will see as much good in it as for Shrek 4.

I definitely agree with your statement. I also love all Movie on an equal level. It’s just sometimes hard to see the amount of hate for the third film regadless if it is a post from the past or present. This is also why I wanted this to share. I sometimes have the feeling I have to dislike it because of what other fans say, even though I really love and enjoy it as much as the other two. Its just sometimes hard because you want to be part of the fandom but like something, others don’t like so much. But I always then question myself into thinking that one of the major messages from httyd is that it is good to be different and do his own thing.
