The Phantom Hourglass team for my AU! Finally got to draw my stupid beautiful man Linebeck ;v;  I just LOVE the WW fairies, they’re so cute! I couldn’t put them in bottles cause it made me feel sad. Anyways, I really like their design so Im drawing Ciela and the other PH fairies in that style. Also, I love Ciela, she’s such an energetic and loyal baby. -x-  O time do Phantom Hourglass pro meu AU! finalmente desenhei esse imbecil maravilhoso do Linebeck  ;v;  eu AMO as fadinhas do WW elas são fofas demais. eu nao conseguia colocar elas nas garrafas porque me dava pena. Enfim, eu amo o design delas então vou desenhar as fadas do PH assim. Aliás, eu amo a Ciela, ela é tão fofa e leal e bebê.

Ik this is kinda basic to ask of but do you got any headcanons on link 😭🙏 i love his design and the missing eye is cool too

Well, first, thanks! :D Second, one that I’ve been thinking about are his feelings torwards the Master Sword.

This Link doesn’t know about Fi, but he can still, in a way, feel her presence. Even at the sword’s weakest state, he felt a certain warmth, a soothing voice coming from her, and always refered to the sword as “she”, never as “it”. This was only reinforced when he told Medli about it and she explained that, being a sacred sword, there could very well be an acient, caring spirit within the blade.

When nights are scary and cold, he holds on to her...

He feels protected. It helps him to sleep peacefully.

When his first adventure is over, despite all the danger he’s been through, Link remains with a mostly bright, optimistic personality. But when he remembers that his dear guardian sword now rests with the enemy that still haunts his nightmares...

...sometimes it makes his heart break.

He just wishes he could have given her a better place to sleep.

Did Link hang on to any of items he obtained in windwaker. Aside from the mirror shield or hero's bow. I know he never used any of them in PH but does he still have them in storage or something? He could tell stories on how he got a lot of them to the other pirates.

 He gave most of them back to the korok and rito tribe, in case another hero would need to use them someday. 

And gave the hero's bow to Tetra, since she proved to be a great archer in the final battle.

 But he does tell stories about his adventures to the pirates, that's what made him form a closer bond with a lot of them - especially Niko and Gonzo.

(also, he kept the ones he got in PH, since he left the Ocean King’s world with them.)

i love your AU! it's so cute even though link has that scar (or perhaps because of it?). i'm wondering about the bandana he wears. was it a gift from tetra?

 Thanks! :D and about the bandana: when Link joined the crew, everyone agreed he could look a bit more... piratey.

And the first thought that came to their minds: EYEPATCH! It was perfect, it was stylish and cool and...

...very unconfortable.

So Link sat there, trying to think of something to wear, and...

“There you go.” “Tetra!” He said, surprised. “You’re... you’re giving me your scarf? But...” “Nevermind” she replied. “You saved my neck before, it’s only fair you get my scarf.”

 And so Link got his pirate item, which Tetra never regreted giving him. After all, he was so happy with the gift! And also... he looked really, really cute with it.

So may I ask what Oshus and Bellum are like?

 Posting before the next ask because I was so hyped drawing this! So I present my take on Bellumbeck.

  Ok so expanding on the ideia of my last post, I thought it would be cool if Linebeck’s markins were sensitive to the sun, so he has to wears a cool hat and gloves when out. (They also glow a little in the dark, I guess?)  Anyways, this was a nice shading exercise! I tested some stuff I saw on some tutorials and I think I learned a thing or two! I guess I spent the day drawing... It was very fun but I’m also tired as heck now XD  (now I will work on the asks. See ya in a few days!)

Does Linebeck have any personality/story changes in your AU? I do enjoy ones where he is far more protective or paternal towards Link

 I don’t think I’ve changed him much, but I really like him being a sort of father figure to Link too. I like to think that they start off as just having a common goal, but with all the time they spend sailing together, they start to understand each other, and Linebeck has this deep respect for that kid who is by far the most noble person he has known. And Link always trusted Linebeck to be his better self, which helped him to get there.  Link also was very attached to Daphnes and viewed him as a father, and misses him deeply. So finding another older friend to share stories and adventures with was very good to the little guy.

 So here it is! I’ve been working on this one for quite some time, and I’m glad it’s finally done. I’ve never made a comic this size before... and I will probably do some more in the future. After I rest from this one 😅  The hero of winds deserves all the love and care in this world.  Hope you liked it!

 (I DREW LINK’S SCAR IN THE WRONG EYE AND I’M SAD)  but here’s some Telink to lighten your night! (or day.)  I just love them so much ;v;

 Ok but WHAT IF LINK ADOPTS A BABY GLEEOK I don’t know, I just love Phantom hourglass Gleeok’s design so much. And I’m still trying to get over baby Volvagia from the manga so maybe this dragon can have a better ending

How do you think Spirit Tracks will play up as an AU?

So, I’m not as attached to ST as I am to WW and PH (Haven’t even finished it yet) so I didn’t really think about an AU, execpt for: the hero of trains. I think he would be a lot more outgoing and talkative than the hero of winds - the kind of kid that will see a random person doing a random thing in the street and ask them what they are doing and why and what is their name. His right eye is also blue and he has a birthmark where the hero of winds had a scar (because reincarnation stuff i guess)

 “STUPID KID STOP BEING ALL OH-SO-WISE-AND-MATURE” from Linebeck to english roughly translates to “Link, my boy, you are so mature for your age and so strong. While I wish you could have had a peaceful life, I am so proud of your strenght and growth. You are a true hero.” (also I’m a little surprised that my previous comic with these two had some views after I decided to make this one jsjkskjjsk destiny)

What your AU linebeck reaction after learning about link adventure and defeating ganon?

I think it went something like this:

 (And I also want to add that as their friendship grew, Linebeck became very proud of Link’s strentgh of heart. He loves and admires his adopted-son-hero, even if he’s terrible at showing it)

 The Legend of Flora: Curious Hourglass? or Phantom Village? idk Yeah I really love making random crossover (or is the right term mashup?) AUs. And since I love a good “kid and his father figure friend” relationship, why not mix TWO? Being both from ds stylus-based 2007 games with puzzles? Or I just really wanted to draw Layton with Linebeck’s coat. Anyways
