Some time ago, I wrote this manhunt inspired poem in Brazilian Portuguese and now I’m posting it cause why not.

TW// blood , sangue

Seu corpo já não funcionava mais,

Os pés ardentes e cansados mexiam-se sós.

Só mais um passo.

Só mais um pouco.

Quase lá...

Na saída da floresta parou,

Viu um relevo aberto, amplo...

Um deserto.

Jamais conseguiria escapar,

Fuga não era uma opção.

Seus olhos mal capturaram os arredores,

Mas podia sentir tudo.

A dor aguda em suas costas,

A lâmina cravada em seu corpo,

O sangue escorrendo pra areia sob seus pés.

Sua percepção falhou.

O liquido escarlate que agora manchava tudo ao seu redor,

Em seu olhar era dourado como o mais puro ouro.

A visão o fez gritar,

Em dor,

Em desespero.

Seu corpo não se movia.

Não podia levantar,

Correr,

Implorar por sua vida.

Mesmo assim sentia tudo,

As quentes lágrimas escorrendo,

O corte profundo duma espada, lentamente lhe arrancando a vida,

E os braços de alguém virando-o...

Ficando cara a cara com seu perseguidor.

Viu uma enorme mascara sorridente

Olhando em sua alma com frieza,

Uma sangrenta espada apontada para seu estomago.

Engasgou com o grito em sua garganta,

Os pulmões já não funcionavam,

O corpo tinha espasmos leves,

A ferida ardia com a areia entrando no corte,

E a dor da lamina cortando sua carne atingiu como um raio.

O assassino não se prestou a assistir,

Nem o último suspiro dolorido,

Nem o ultimo espasmo,

A ultima indicação de vida de sua vitima.

Apenas andou para longe,

Deixando manchas de vermelho para trás na areia.
