hello criminal minds fans!... i feel like we don't talk about the mobile game enough?
is it a very mediocre point and click style badge-grinding game? oh absolutely. does the art style somehow make me so happy yet make me unbelievably irritated at the same time? yeah! it isn't even that great of a game!!! it is a 5/10 at BEST! but godddd, some of the unsubs are so intruiging.
AND THERE'S A WHOLE ARC INSIDE OF THIS GAME! the unsub behind the arc is INTERESTING, TOO??????? and it sparks a genuine ethical discussion about crime novels as a whole??? how the victims after each case COPE (which is NOT well)?
also if the game IS canon (i have no clue), then😭😭😭... there's So much lore in this bad boy. especially about the bsu. they threw in so many ocs.
also ALSO i really do like garcia's little shop . its so cute. and the characterization for all of them is so real?? idk if they did it for other characters, but i've gone through the game a couple times and i noticed one of rossi's idle animations is him playing with his ring, and?!!?! my god i love the weird attention to detail. im pretty sure spencer talks with his hands, too.
im probably giving this old mediocre game more credit than it deserves but! theres a full playthrough of it on youtube if you don't wanna spend a couple days grinding for badges😭. i would suggest it, if you're bored and want content!
