MIS-IF:Update - Tumblr Posts

Hello! I am still working on chapter 3 with all the coding.....so much coding however hopefully it will be done by the end of September. Fingers crossed 🤞. Another thing I want to talk about is some changes I have been doing to the ROs, manly on of their names. One of the ROs used to be named Mary Badeaux however I have changed the name now to Margaret Badeaux due to the fact the name Mary was to close to Rosemary, another RO. Thank you and I will keep yall updated.

Update: Mon, September 18

So I have been working on Chapter 3, and it is coming along nicely but slowly. There is so much stuff I want to add, but I know I have to tone it back so I can leave you guys on your toes. But do not worry, there will be enough content to go around. I just wanted to update you all. My mental health is good; I'm just a little stressed with college, but writing is helping, and I can't wait to post Chapter 3 and the release of the demo.

Personal Update: 11/19/2023

Hello, I wish I was coming to you guys with a big update; however, due to class and family troubles, that is something that is still in the making. Classes are stressful, and when I do get a chance to write, all I want to do is sleep. Lol. I am pushing through, though, and writing every other day when I can. As of right now, I have finished Rosemary's route for chapter three and am starting on Marcel's. Hopefully, I will get done with all of them soon. I do want to apologize for the late update and for the people who are sending me ASKS. Sorry that they are so late; however, I have dug through my notifications, and I think I have answered most of them.

Release Date for Chapter Three

It is finally here: the release date for Part 2 of Chapter 3. I am sorry that it took so long, but I am happy to announce that My Inner Sins will be updated on 2/18/2024. There were a lot of changes made that I think everyone will appreciate, including an actual save system and an updated stats profile for your character.

Notes:

There are now saved slots, so you are able to save your progress, and I have changed that you will now not have a set personality, but now you are going to be building your personality, which will affect certain situations. Please, if you find any mistakes in coding or grammar, please message me via Tumblr to fix the problem. I want to make this the best possible interactive fiction and story that I can, so I will be very grateful for your help. I also have changed some names around so if you see a few things different then do not fret to much or just feel free to ask about it.

Update: 4/5/2024

Hi everyone, Sorry that I have been so late on asks, but I have been working really hard at school at the moment. While I have been writing some in between My Inner Sins: Book 1 and an outline for another IF, I haven't made a lot of progress, which I apologize for. However, I am still working hard to finish My Inner Sins. Hopefully the update will not be a long wait, but I'll keep you guys all updated.

When will the next update to My Inner Sins be? Also, you mentioned on the itch.io page in one of the comments that you may be taking beta testers soon! If you'd like, I can beta test for you if needed :)

Thank you so much for reading! 😊👍As for chapter four, I have no idea, I plan for it to be quite longer than chapter three so it will take time however I have faith it will be before the end of summer (August for me). I will make a post about beta testers if I need a few extra. I have gotten a few offers, but I will find out if I need extra time when I have written the final draft of chapter four.

Update (6/21/2024)

Hello everyone! It's me, Florence. I just wanted to let you know that writing is going smoothly, and I have so many ideas to put in Chapter Four that I want to make it longer. Lol. I had a little coding mishap, but nothing I can't fix with a few online forms and patience. Hopefully, chapter four will be done by the end of August (that's my goal). I also have been working on another Interactive fiction on the side, I don't know if I'll ever release it but it's nice to practice writing without having to feel the pressure of anyone seeing it. Lol.

Started my internship for my actual job this summer, so the writing process might slow down, but there are flexible hours, so I am not too worried about it.

To people who have been sending me an asks, sorry for the late replies. Please understand that I am using my writing time to write My Inner Sins. Please send the asks, tho, and I will get to them as soon as I can!

Now on a more serious note, to the person or people who keep sending me anti-LGBTQ+ questions and comments about my characters, I have tried to ignore them and not answer but it has gotten out of hand. This is your only and final warning before you are blocked. I try to be nice, but it puts me in a state of utter distress seeing such hateful things when I wake up.

Update: 8/22/2024

Hello everyone, I know that at the beginning of the summer, I said that I would have Chapter 4 out by August, but I don't think that is possible. Between working and spending time with family, I didn't get as far as where I felt Chapter 4 is ready to be released. I have also been trying to figure out if the structure for My Inner Sins. I want to make sure that it is at the best for where I want the story to go in later books and have been working on moving some stuff around. 

I have also been working on a side project a little bit over the summer, another IF that has helped with writer's block. 

I know this isn't the best update, but as of right now, I am going back to university, where I will continue to write.
