On a rendu notre MJ fou... Et pour une fois, c'était pas ma faute

Donc, je joue un voleur Thiefling, neutre chaotic. Juste là pour l'argent. Et complétement kleptomane. Ensuite, on a un demi-elfe mage, neutre, toujours intéressé par plus de connaissance. Personnage classiques pour nous deux. Un demi-orc Warlock, chaotic neutre. Pareil, il joue toujours un demi-orc, et on est les deux un peu trop chaotic du groupe. Et enfin un paladin humain, tellement banal qu'on a pas vraiment lu sa description. Oh, mais on aurait dû !

Donc, on commence notre campagne. On arrive dans un village, Lotherick, où de nombreuses disparitions se passent. On commence notre enquête. Histoire courte, les coupables sont un culte démoniaque. On localise leur base, et je l'infiltre. Sur le chemin, je tue les cultistes et cache leur corps, laissant le champs libre au reste du groupe derrière moi. J'arrive dans les cellules, dans les souterrains, où sont enfermé les villageois. Plus grande récompense si on les sauve. Mais ! Notre Paladin, qui nous a toujours pas dit qu'elle dieu il sert, tombe sur la salle de culte. Avec l'autel à Molag Bahal, dieu des morts-vivants, nécromancie et esclavage des âmes. Et il devient fou, commencer à brûler la salle pour ce débarrasser des impies. Avec l'aide du Warlock, partenaire de Kresnik, un demon de l'Inferno, la Flamme de l'Anarchie. Mon personnage n'est pas au courant de ça, et notre MJ est désespèré. Mon tour. Je presse les villageois en haut. Seulement pour que notre Paladin les massacre dans sa folie meurtrière. Il est un Paladin.... Du dieu démoniaque Svarog'Nelath. Et ils sont teintés du pouvoir "d'une pâle copie de son seigneur, tentant en vain d'atteindre la splendeur de son éternel perfection". Et bien sûr que le chef cultiste se ramène à ce moment. Un Nécromancien, et des squelette et zombie,qui commence a se plaindre qu'il ne peut tourner les villageois en haut morts-vivants, ou "Une existence supérieur béni par notre seigneur". Le mage décide de se barrer chercher la bibliothèque et tomes magique avant que tout brûle. Le paladin se jette sur le nécromancien, igborant les morts-vivants, le Warlock se laisse posséder par son demon, devenant une abomination de feu. Le combat est rapide.

La pièce est en feu, notre Paladin continue sa tirade sur les hérétiques, notre Warlock est une abomination, notre mage manquant et je decide de looter la pièce. Quand en doute, looter. Je récupére un anneau de l'ombre, me permettant d'appeler une âme lié au plan de l'ombre. Pas de nom, ne peut interagir avec le monde physique, mais parfait pour de la reconnaissance. On sort. Notre mage est un peu grillé, ayant raté un jet de sauvegarde. On est payé une misère à cause des dommage collatéraux. Même si j'ai réussi a rejeter la faute du massacre de villageois sur les cultistes... Plus ou moins vrai, juste un Paladin cultiste. Je vend les trucs brillant que j'ai récupérer, 50 pour moi, 50 pour eux.

Le mage est plus ou moins normal, et n'est-ce pas triste que le kleptomane demi-demon soit le plus normal du groupe. Notre MJ veut tuer le duo démoniaque. Le reste de la campagne va être... Intéressante.

I remembered this time

Where I was the GM. We played a long campaign, an original, with five mission, undead at first, then hunting down cultist all along and ending with killing a demon that was invoqued. Now, they stand in front of the king, who is feliciting them and recompensing them, with full court and shit, because they're the saviors of the little kingdom. My rogue, a demi-orc, decide to rob the noble around. He have done it all along the campaign, so, i roll my eye, and made him roll the dice. Critical fail. He is caught pickpocketing. And now he is trying to talk his way out. Only for the guards to come on him. He panick, take on off the pins in the hair of the noble, the one for chignon, and use it has a impromptu weapon. Second critical fail. Want to know who was near and wich pnj didn't win the saving roll? The king. Moron killed the king on their own award ceremonies. Let me told you that he was forbibben to play the rogue ever again. So, we did a second campaign where the group are the criminal. They ended, somehow, leader of a rebellion against the noble and instituted a Republic.

In addition, apparently, I'm the only good thief, and got good instinct for it. Not sure how i'm supposed to take it.

More on my half-orc rogue

He became know has kingslayer, wich became literally is family name, since it was an exploit. And it offered a bonus for negotiation with any tribal being - orc, gobelin, barbare.... The first force recruted in the rebellion. As for the idea itself, of fucking it's the barde who decided to start a rebellion since they already killed the king. He spread the story in the tavern and made allies with the others barde for spreading it further, even convinced the marchants to help finance it. In his word (OOC) " the french revolution was helped by the bourgeoisie against the aristocracie, make sense we do the same". Argument made, I, as GM, was forced to give him that. And our priest and paladin appealed to the mass thank to their righteous justice and god parole. Anyhow, that how the kingdom of Corynthe became a Republic, thank to a kleptomane half-orc and several critical fail and a bard trying to talk their way out.

Guys !

We just realised. Our Paladin is follower of an evil god. Does it mean he is an anti-paladin? But he haven't broken any oath, since it was always his deity. Or a cultist? But he doesn't try to bring him on this realm, and he don't do pact with others demon, on the contrary. We are confused. And curious.

I destroyed the mission

So, I play a type of clone, in wich the ancient civilization cramed magical circuit inside and used as disposable weapon. My brother is the same, but we refused to follow order and were slated for reprogramming.

Two thousand year later, I awoke in a hangar with several pod, filled with other Rehalian, decommissioned or prototype. An archeologist and her assistant are here, and a deserter, hidden, who stole the battery alimenting my pod. So yeah, I woke, memory all jumbled up, don't remember much, but that i want to be free, to live my life as I wish, and that i have a brother, who should be here. I use my racial ability who allow me to directly interface with Ancient technology, and set everyone free. Cue panic. Several activate weapon or reactor in their back, and they seem angry, starting to run to us. We all panick, run, the deserter use her magic to slow them down, we pass. My brother seal the door with a rock wall, and i add a rune seal.

We were supposed to explore the temple behind. But instead we sealed nearly forty super soldier inside... So yeah, I pity the guy who will come next.

Oh, and on the actual campaign, I'm the fighter, with several point in the skill martial art, anyhow, my brother asked me to give martial art lesson to is mini-golem, and end up roping everyone on it. Anyhow, i got two critical fail, one after another in the demonstration. Rolled 99 twice, ended up losing a skill point.

Anyhow, our DM made me role regularly for will, when we take too long. And if I fail, i steal something shiny from someone.

So, I stole : a reactor, a sword, several purse, a +2 offensive ring...

I though he was the other sane of the party.

He choose enchanter speciality, the explosives path. Now we have a mad bomber with our pyromane warlock and slaughterer paladin

Not edgy thief I played/played with

A thiefling who just want money and escape the mafia band (derailed by evil god paladin, flamme of anarchy warlock, knowledge mad and bomb lover mage)

A aarakroka obsessed with shiny thing. Have to mad resistance throw to every shiny shit or he's going to try to steal it.

A human thief who is pretty much the tired and broke college student and need money to feed is crippling addiction to coffee.

A demi-elf who grew into orphanage, who put the candy under lock. Picklock thinking candy will be behind. Steal for candy money. (Killed a mimic: where the candy?it's a mimic. And, isn't that like a pinata?)

A dwarf set in proving his clan lock are the best in the world, by picking every lock. Absolutely pants at stealing.

We're a party of genesi. We got two fire genesi, our mage and a warrior, a wind genesi, our healer, and me, the rogue, an ice genesi.

This is our first party, we're paid to go retrieve an item. Now, this item was stolen by a rich mercenary, during the sacking of a neighbor country. We spend the first half of the game travelling, and now, it's night, and we're arguing how to go about retrieving the item. It's getting late, we're tired. Mage and Warrior keep arguing back and forth between stealth, what to do if milicia come, if mercenary is here and so on. While they argue, I said to the GM I will try to unlock the door of the mercenary house. I get my lockpick out, and roll for opening. Apparently, it's enchanted, I need an amulet to unlock. Mage declare that he cast fireball. GM ask if he's sure, he said yes. He cast his spell. At the door. The door I'm currently just in front of. I get a malus to dodge. I fail my dodge roll. I take the fireball in full. Since a fire genesi cast it, the damage are doubled. Since an ice genesi took it, the damaged are doubled. I just took 5x4 damage. I'm very dead. It's like... 2.5 more damage than my hp. The save roll is also failed

I'm dead. Carbonized. The house is on fire, the milicia is coming, that was our first scenar, everyone is loosing their mind and trying to strangle the mage. Yeah, that was a very short campaign.

I have fallen back into the Fairy Tail rabbit hole, and is currently wondering if I should create a tabletop rpg campaign of it. I have some idea about how to make it work too.

Magic: limitation + advantages/disvantages.

1 forbidden spell, 1 ultimate who cost all magic pool, 3 art who cost 3 to 5, 5 regular who cost 1 to 3.

Damages: 1d6 for regular spell, 2d6 for art, 5d6 for ultimate, and insta-death for forbidden spell.

D100 for characteristic, which are body, perception, intelligence, will and magic.

20+magic+lvl for the magic pool and 10+body+lvl for health.
