Idk if this has been done before but...

If Echo characters had dnd classes what would you think they'd be?

I had! It was a reblog and was very type-casted.

Also note: I play Pathfinder currently which has a few more classes than 5th edition DND. I've included some equivalents.

Chase: Investigator. High passive perception but dumped charisma. Can see lots of things but is also too dumb to put it all together until it's too late. Alt: Witch with Sam as his patron and he casts hexes and madness-inducing enchantment magic. DND equivalent: Inquisitor rogue or archfey warlock.

Flynn: Swashbuckler. He would want to be the swarmy fighter who insults you, stabs you, then trips you, in that order. Optional: archetype into Gunslinger since he stays strapped. DND equivalent: Swashbuckler rogue or battlemaster fighter.

TJ: Cleric. This one's easy. Only difference is he's definitely got a high Dex and plays a race with extra movement speed so he's the fastest cleric around. Also plays passively, so he prob focuses on healing and buff spells since he wouldn't like hurting things.

Leo: Champion. Focuses on all the 'protect my friends' abilities, but actually mainly uses them on Chase's character. Optional: archetype into Gunslinger since he stays strapped. DND equivalent: ancients paladin with stuff like the shield blocking fighting style to reduce damage to an ally.

Carl: Ranger. It's s stretch, but ranger is the most superhero-like (a la tolkiens elf rangers) but also don't take up the spotlight. Also if any classes smoke weed, it'd be ranger or druid. Honorable mention: if he plays any caster and focuses on clouds and air magic. Alt: kineticist specialized in air abilities for flying and clouds. Honorable DND mention: spore druid.

Jenna: Rogue. A surprisingly outspoken and well moralled one. I know the least about her so this one's just a guess.

Other peeps:

Kudzu: monk with rogue archetype. Sneaky boi who can fight sounds about right. Definitely is the character who has to deal with the rest of the party's shenanigans.

Clint: Oracle. Cursed with forbidden knowledge trying to use it to save the future. Makes him look crazy but he's actually on to something. DND equivalent: cleric or warlock, both are roleplayed as their magic being a powerful curse.

…How often do illustrators get extremely tired just by merely thinking of a draft lurking in the depths of their database :/?

This is by far not finished and/or perfected yet, but…ugh. I don’t know what to do with the background….stuff….bats….It’s late. So let us consider this a WIP?? 

They are all characters from my Dungeons & Dragons party. We somehow have loads of shiny useless charisma ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The sexy half-elf with tattoos in the middle is my darling swashbuckling rogue: Fix.

I shouldn’t be so afraid to post more of my random doodles in between… 

Here are Mirtha (our Paladin’s little squire), Fix (my rogue) and in the background Tala (druid) who doesn’t understand how we can stand the pungent smell of death. 

This a random scene of my greedy rogue grave-robbing a dwarven tomb, after the druid and I saved the day in a fight with the undead. Everyone else was down. It was a blast :/

Here are the Paladin, Bard, Druid and Rogue enjoying a rare quiet moment in the summer sun. Our Paladin Fariz (with his ridiculous long hair) has a very ‘special’ herbal tea he likes to share, which would explain the mellow disposition of the company.

Brad’s Dnd character is a handsome human Bard: called Valdebron Polixenes Danforth Longaville Genevie, or Val for short. He was brought up in a rich family and he excelled at acting and singing, so he started performing.

The Elizabethan era is one of my favorite, fashion wise. So this was an absolute treat to do :)

Finished this lovely Sun Elf commission! It’s for the DM: Matthew, whom commissioned it as a birthday present for one of his adventurers :)

This is the sorcerer Thamior, born into Sun Elf nobility & his familiar: the 900 year old raven Elea'mor (Ellie for short), whom had to keep him out of trouble more than once, but loves him dearly anyway. Thamior was mentored by the 600 year old Moon Elf sorcerer Thamor, who taught him the tricks of the trade.

Ally and friend of Warlock Adaephon, he’s surly, grumpy and has simply stopped aging, thanks to a blessing from Bahamut that he never wanted any part of.

When I’m bored/tired/stressed I sketch hairdo’s, mostly for my swashbuckling rogue. He needs more fancy hairstyles, like any respectable very girly looking half-elf should.

Good honest fun in between of work. 

This is quite random. Our weird Wizard Liam adopted two loud disgusting evil mole-rat babies…Our DM didn’t expect that. 

They are lovingly called Mel and Ford. Don’t ask me which is which….

Liam gets in serious protective dad-mode when in battle (ง’̀-‘́)ง. So far so good. (He even sacrificed his new cape to make a baby sling).  

Not sure if this illustration is finished yet, but I have other stuff to do. We’ll see. It was supposed to be practice anyway, but again, as usual, it got out of hand. Just like Liam’s caring nature :/.  

Ananke: our local wizard spy. She is my brothers soon-to-be Dnd character. I call her Moon Moon. Her personality would be best described as ‘bored’ with a pinch of ‘tired of your shit’.

I am hoping to start a Dnd campaign with myself as Dungeon Master. Highly inspired by a mix of traditional Mongolian, Chinese and Arabian culture & mythology. Predominantly because fashion-wise I am totally into that stuff. 

Enter Scab “Scabandari” Bandaris, scion of House Bandaris of Silverymoon and brother to Sheltatha Bandaris, High Priestess of Sehanine Moonbow. 

This moon elf warlock is unsettlingly friendly and will go out of his way to aid those in need. Once an archeologist, he has somehow gained rather… interesting powers, which eventually lead him to killing his own father - the sentience of whom now lives in his deformed moonblade (well, scythe).

This beautiful lady is called Clara Liadon, a fearsome half elf/ half celestial being. Dnd character commissioned by: Oni. 

(The staff and parts of the outfit are inspired by an existing character illustration. I’ll ask where the picture originates from…)

Presenting Ashra, the bad-ass half-orc blood hunter! Commissioned by one of Charredlore’s adventurers. 

"Hailing from the somewhat inhospitable swampland near Cormanthor, this half-orc has taken up her steel to rid the world of monsters... if people can pay her fees, that is. As an order of the mutant blood hunter, she has undergone rigorous training and had her body modified to become more resilient, swifter and better able to track her quarry. Her social skills are somewhat lacking, if not to say almost non-existent. But as long as she's getting paid and her best friend (her horse Ludwig) remains at her side, she'll cheerfully tackle any mission that she can get her hands on."

The lovely Patience Prynne, a runaway nun and con artist. Her innocent sweet looks and serene composure are quite deceiving, considering she is a powerful warlock who made a deal with the devil.

Assassin and thief by trade, Khalisi Creed embraced her demon heritage from a early age by forming a pact with Bhaal the Lord of murder. Through her pact she gained a imp familiar Talia who prefers to stay in the form of a raven. Khalisi harbors a deep underlying hate for all of true demon or devil kind. She lives for herself doing as she pleases but will save people she can tolerate for steep favors in exchange. (thank you Oni for the background information) Commission finished! This sexy Tiefling belongs to Oni :3.
