🌹 Rose Quartz Healing Tears 🌹

inspired by steven universe, a spell to help heal what is hurt (emotionally)

“I need you to know that every moment you love being yourself, that’s me, loving you and loving being you. Because you’re going to be something extraordinary.”

🌹 gather: full moon water, a piece of rose quartz, pink salt, lemon balm

🌹 mix the pink salt and lemon balm into the moon water. let it soak.

🌹 dip the rose quartz into the water

🌹 let the water from the wet rose quartz drip onto your skin, like tears.

🌹 let it work. let it out. things often hurt before they can heal.

Morning Sun Spell (Pokemon Inspired)

An easy spell to lift your spirits; best performed in the morning.

You Will Need:

☀ A Sunrise or morning sunlight ☀ Open space

Steps:

☀ Go outside into the morning sunlight and if you can face the rising sun.

☀ Feel the warmth of it on your skin and like golden waves of energy running across the land feel it pass through you. Close you eyes and stretch you arms upwards towards the sky, stand on your toes if you can. Feel your own energy grow and stretch out, absorbing all of the fresh crisp energy of the sun.

☀ Focus on your intent to absorb the golden yellow energy to bring you happiness and a good start to your day. Take deep breaths and relax your arms for a few beats before stretching them upwards again.

☀ Repeat this process focusing on your intent and feeling the sun’s bright energy entering you until you feel refreshed and ready to start your day.

☀ End spell by bowing in the direction of the sun to thank it for offering you its energy and giving you a well needed boost.

Rest (Pokemon Inspired Spell)

A spell to bring you a deep, refreshing sleep.

You will Need:

Moonstone Gem Elixir (safely made see below)

Chamomile Tea

Moon Water (see below)

(Optional) Almond Milk

Preparation:

Moon Water: Take a jar of water and leave in the window over night to charge with the energy of the moon. You may do this no matter the weather outside.

Moonstone Gem Elixir: You cannot make direct gem elixir using moonstone. Moon stone is toxic containing aluminum and it also loses its luster when submerged in water. You will have to make indirect gem elixir. To do this take your moon water you made above and keep it in its jar. Place a piece of moonstone atop the lid of the jar and away from any water. Leave it in the window. You may do this simultaneously with making the moon water.

Steps:

Take your indirectly made Moonstone Gem Elixir and boil it or heat it in any way that you usually prepare tea.

Add your chamomile tea and make it as you normally do. Pour a small amount of your almond milk (if you choose) to further promote sleep.

Stir the tea clockwise chanting “Bring me rest, bring me sleep” until satisfied.

Sit in a quiet space and drink your tea. If you choose listen to relaxing music. Once you finish your tea go immediately to sleep.

Notes: any left over gem elixir store in the fridge. Be sure to cleanse and charge your moonstone in the window after making the gem elixir.

Magickal Uses for Kisses

A kiss is a very powerful thing, even in fairytales and lore of the past the power of kisses are told of (true love’s kiss, siren/mermaid kiss, first kiss, etc). a kiss can be a powerful tool for any witch. Here are a few suggestions for using kisses and the power they hold.

Use a kiss to charge objects: crystals, tarot cards, charms, amulets, etc etc. Use it to send your emotions and energy into the object. Love is a good emotion, but any positive energies you wish to charge the object with can be transferred this way. Adding your love to something can really give it a boost as well! Especially if it is for another to use. (Note: do not kiss toxic stones please! Be safe and smart)

Spell Sealing: Use a kiss to magically seal spells such as jar and bottle spells or use it to strengthen a (cooled!) wax seal. Imagine placing the kiss its like placing an invisible seal upon it, stamping in energy to lock th spell inside. 

For Air and Wind spells: For all of my fellow witches who use air and wind spells, blowing a kiss after a chant or spell to summon a wind in the direction you wish it to blow is a good way to guide the wind but also show it positive reinforcement. Use it to show your gratitude for the wind’s cooperation. It is best for gentler wind spells.

Glamour and Beauty spells: Kiss the mirror after a beauty or glamour spell. Thank the mirror for its aid and seal any negativity into it. It also a wonderful way to reflect love back at yourself!

Love Spells: Kisses are great for powering up love spells! Kiss a candle before lighting it (careful if you are using essential oils be sure not to kiss where they are), kiss the written name of the one you desire, kiss a charm or amulet to help bring love into your life, and finally blow a kiss when finishing the the spell to close it.

Kitchen Magic: blow a kiss to finish a dish (don’t be too close though, don’t want to spread germs) to put a final charge of love into it before serving it to others. Good for with tea and coffee spells too!

Public Magic: Want to remain discrete while casting a spell in public? Blow a kiss! Its much subtler than pointing or hand motions, especially if it is a positive spell you are casting on another or a friend but it is also good for curses, either way its a wonderful way to send your intentions. Whisper the words or chant needed for the spell (if any) under your breath, imagine them them gathering in an orb of energy at your lips as you do so. Then do a subtle kiss motion on your lips (no hands and no ‘fish lips’, you are trying to be subtle). Then release the energy and words towards the target with a gentle blow of breath, sending the ball of energy in that direction.

Mourning/Remembrance Rituals: Ending such a ritual with a blown kiss to close it can help release your feelings in a positive manner and close the ritual with love and sincerity. 

Thanking tools: As someone who uses tarot cards and many other divination tools, I like to place gentle kisses to the sides of the decks after using them to help bond with them. To show them my gratitude for assisting me in not only readings but also in my spell work. I also before days where I know i will be doing a lot of divination work, I will kiss them to help charge them up (as said above). It is an excellent way to bond with your tools!

A very simple paper clip charm for focus and concentration. Great for low-key witchcraft and dorm witchcraft!

You Will Need:

📎 A Paper Clip 📎 A place you can concentrate and work

Steps:

📎 Once you are in a place you feel comfortable to work, hold your paper clip of choice cupped in your hands.

📎 Image your energy charging the paper clip with your intent: to be able to better concentrate. If you have issues envisioning this, you may instead chant “I will be able to focus” over and over again.

📎 Once you feel satisfied carry it on your person. You may also choose to make makes sure you don’t lose it by tying a brown or blue string to it.

📎 Regularly cleanse it in the moonlight each night, and around every week or two re-charge it with your intent.

Note: to give it a little boost, choose a blue or brown colored paper clip for those colors represent focus and concentration. You may also paint your paper clip this color if you wish.

Spread some salt around your sacred space and place a white candle in front of you 🧂

Light the candle and focus on the flame thinking only of your wish 🕯

When you feel like you’ve spent enough time making your wish, put out the candle and thank the spirits or deities for your time spent with them. 🌙

Take time to ground yourself before going to bed, spend as long as you need🧘‍♀️

Drink a tea with chamomile and while thinking of all the good that happened in the day even if the day was not as good to you. 🍵

When finished with this self reflection, take a piece of paper and a pen to write down a single word you would like to dream about. 📝

Take the piece of paper, fold it in half and place it in your pillowcase. 🌠

This spell will continue to work as long as you know the piece of paper is in the pillowcase and that your will to have a pleasant dream stays constant when returning to bed each night. 🛏

jar for clarity in dreams ✨💜

this jar spell started out as a sweet dreams spell, but more makes dreams easier to interpret so you can figure out wht the heck is up with your life !

(I know most of the ingredients are improvised. as they say, it’s all about intent anyway!)

1 bud of lavender- for clarity and sleep

peppermint (I used a tea bag) - dreams, happiness

rosehip (i used a tea bag) - protect against nightmares

sugar- to sweeten your dreams

Rose (I used rosewater, 1 drop) - to sweeten dreams

Amethyst (beads are best) - to balance emotions and prevent nightmares

thread (i used that from the teabags!

Carefully attach the thread to the amethyst and tie it to the outside of the jar

Layer the ingredients, other than the amethyst, with the lavender on top

seal your jar with wax or a candle. I always “seal with a kiss” out of pure habit

Burn a candle on on near the jar to charge

Leave near the head of your bed as you sleep

enjoy some clearer dreams and hopefully, a clearer outlook on life!
