Head canon idea :)
After returning from Russia, the bladebreakers notice that their captain almost routinely chats with Tala. They think of all possible situations from Kai online dating to him planning to switch teams again. Finally they decide to sneak a peak at their chats... And end up finding detailed description of Tala successfully driving his 5th therapist mad.
Kai trying to be super supportive. But his advice just makes the situation 10 times worse.
Ok so yeah this is my first time drawing on my phone and bear with me please it's probably shitty as hell but hey am trying, also I really don't like coloring but I want to start doing so to improve my self and because I would love to be able to draw some majestic fanarts with lights and shadows and stuff haha and there you have it

Tell me your tala headcannons
Ahhhhh. Tala, my love.
Okay hear me out: Tala is the type of guy you get warned about. Tala is the type of the guy that people whisper about and warn you to not get on his wrong side, Tala is just that guy who could be minding his own business, and doing his own thing, and someone would assume that he’s the asshole, sort of guy, the guy who hasn’t got a lot of time for other people. Lmfao, Tala is actually soft as hell. He’s probably one of the loveliest people you meet, and despite his cold and reserved exterior, Tala is literally so warm, and he actually has a heart of gold. I’ve seen a lot of fanfics, and other headcanons that focus on Tala being arrogant and cocky? But personally? The only time I feel like Tala really gets cocky, is when he’s blading, and through trash talk, and actually? It’s rare that Tala trash talks. He doesn’t need to trash talk, he’s proud of his abilities, and takes pride within himself, but he doesn’t get cocky and use his skills to belittle, nor demean someone.
The reason why he would never do that, is because Tala knows exactly what it feels like to be on the receiving end of it. He knows what it feels like to be emotionally and verbally attacked, he knows what it feels to question yourself and your own abilities, and Tala never wants anyone else to feel that way. He doesn’t want anyone to feel that they’re not good enough, or that they need to question themselves.
Mr. Dickinson restored some of his faith in terms of authority figures. The last authority figure Tala knew, was Boris, and before Mr. Dickinson, Tala was wary of falling into another trap and being used for another’s personal gain. I wouldn’t say he was frightened of authority figures, and if Tala was, he hides it very well, but he’s definitely cautious - because he knows what influence they have. Mr. Dickinson had shown him nothing but kindness and support and stepped back when he had too, and he never once asked too much of Tala. Tala is probably never going to trust figures of authority like he should do by instinct, and perhaps, that trust will never be fully restored, but it’s a start, nonetheless.
I don’t care what anyone says… Tala actually likes Kai. Maybe in the first season he wasn’t keen on him, or disliked him to some degree, but I don’t believe for a second that Tala hated Kai. I am tired of the same old ‘Tala doesn’t like Kai, Tala hates Kai, or Tala is jealous of Kai’ - maybe he was jealous with the amount of attention Kai got during the first season (wouldn’t you? You’ve trained the best part of your life, gone through so much) - Kai gets Black Dranzer, and suddenly the spot lights on him… Regardless, I still stand by what I said. Tala likes Kai. They’re probably never going to be the best of friends, but they have a mutual understanding, and a respect for one another, and I think it takes a lot to get either one’s respect. I think Tala respected Kai in season 3 anyway, and the same for Kai. Granted, they were using each other to get to where they wanted to be, but they must have respected one another and their capabilities, to place such faith within the other.
Tala is like the momma of the Blitzkrieg/Demolition Boys (however you wish to refer to them.) The boys are his friends, his brothers, his family. If they need something or someone, not only as duty of team captain, but more importantly, as a friend, Tala is there. He knows when there is something wrong, and he knows when something needs to be done, and if you’ve got a problem with any of his teammates, well hoooo boi, you’re in for the ride of your life, because you have a problem with Tala. Tala adores these boys. The boys that he’s come to know of their morning routine, their eating and sleeping habits, he knows when to dive in for the shower and when to avoid the bathroom completely because Spencer and Bryan are probably fighting over it - Ian definitely sneaks in under them and uses it - but this is his family. These are the guys that Tala is going up with, and hell, if he has to go down, he will go down with these boys, because he’s with them until the end. Lmfao, almost throws in my fave Captain America quote. Sue me.
He’s very protective over the boys - no matter age or size - Tala would bet his life on protecting these boys. I get this typically from season 3, where he stands in front of Spencer and Bryan and actually uses his arms to prevent them from coming forward, that’s kind of saying - if you wanna get to these guys, you’re getting through me first. Tala would rather risk his own self than stand by and allow any of the others to be hurt. Tala will not stand by and allow people to harm his teammates. He definitely plays his protective side off, however, as some sort of: lmfao did you really think I was going to let you have all the fun? Sort of thing. He’ll claim that he’s got a reputation to maintain, but he’s actually soft as hell. Yeah, he definitely plays it off. Bryan and Ian would tease him about it and be like: lol, does Tala actually love us? Whilst Tala’s just stood there shaking his head like: no morons, I’m the team captain, I get first dibs. With like, everything. Spencer is the only one that knows how soft this redhead is, and probably because Tala trusts Spencer the most in terms of not spilling his little secrets.
Lol, but is no one going to talk about how Tala and the boys stood in front of Kai, blocking Tyson’s path to him when Kai turned away? Lmao, that killed me. Maybe I read too much into it, but damn it, sue me if you don’t agree. Here’s me again with the whole, Tala likes Kai, thing. I think he knows Kai better than Kai thinks he does, and Tala knows when Kai wants to be left alone, or generally just doesn’t want to be around people because ‘socialising’, and rather than revealing that, he simply stepped up to prevent Tyson from getting to him. Again,Tala plays this off majorly as: I’m the team captain, it’s my duty to keep your damn ass safe, when actually it’s: you are a part of this team, and I’m looking the hell after you, now sit and deal with it.
But I wouldn’t say that it was that sort of protective where you literally feel mollycoddled by him, he can be overprotective, but he isn’t always overprotective. He knows that his team can defend themselves, he knows they can fight and stand up for themselves, but this is a family, coming together and protecting the hell out each other.
Tala is a very driven person. If he sets his mind to do something - he’s going to do it, nothing is stopping him, and no one can talk him out of it. I suppose you can try and talk him out of it, by suggesting the dangers and whatnot, but that isn’t stopping him. I think the only thing that would make him question it, is if meant that Bryan, Spencer and Ian would get hurt, and even then, he’d just be like: fine, they can stay here, and I’ll go. He’s also an emotionally driven person - he puts his heart into a lot of things. We saw that in season three, when he made it obvious what they were doing in terms of BEGA and why - so NO ONE had to be treated or feel the same way as he had - he’s driven by protecting people, even if he doesn’t get a thanks for it. He’s driven by securing the future of others, and protecting future generations from being placed under the reign of figures, such as Balkov.
