I'm rewatching episode five and there's just something about the way it's Echo that gets to reassure Omega she did the right thing by escaping Tantiss and what mattered was that she got out of there. It's like he knows she feels guilty about leaving the others behind and he knows she wants to do more, because he does too. It's a subtle nod to what he went through but also another little moment showing their dynamic and I love that.

Crosshair: Ok so, apparently the "bad vibes" I've been feeling are actually severe psychological distress.

Crosshair: “Struggle with depression” would seem to imply that I am bad at being depressed when I am, in fact, very proficient at being depressed.

Omega: I want to grow up and be like Crosshair!

Crosshair: That is called Acquiring Depression.

You know you live in a dysfunctional family when the two most mature people are the ex-pow with massive amounts of PTSD who keeps running off to do dangerous stuff with his army buddy and a twelve year old girl.

I saw a post about them with this quote and it wouldn't leave my head so I offer this (sorry)

Hunter, Echo, and Crosshair: *spinning a little and talking*

Omega, Wrecker, and Tech: *flying past them, spinning as fast as they can, screaming*

Also, Crosshair stands with an Imperial Shuttle while the others stand with the Maurader. And Wrecker and Omega stand closer to Crosshair, while Hunter is further back perhaps symbolizing that Hunter will take longer to forgive Crosshair than the others.

I love the attention to detail. Two islands of light. Crosshair on one, the others on the other. They perfectly displayed the huge gap that was created in the first season by Cross. Now he needs to regain the trust of his brothers after almost a year of living apart. From now on, the arc of Crosshair's correction begins in the eyes of the rest of the squad, his rehabilitation begins now and it is not known how soon he will be able to become a full-fledged part of this family again. When they trust him again and accept him as their own.

Omega will most likely help him with this. She was generally a ray of light, a supportive sister who you want to protect. She's the only one who believed in Cross, who trusts him even after all this time. Now that her brother has stopped listening to his demons and has begun his redemption, she must help him become Clone 99 again.

I sincerely hope that his story will not end with his death, otherwise we have already lost one.

Wow, Nice analysis, I'd also like to point out, that if the Marauder represents Tech, then Hunter lingers longer inside than Wrecker to meet Omega when they meet again. Maybe that he’s more willing to let go of Tech to see Omega again while Hunter is still kinda stuck in his head, leaving Tech’s goggles on a pedestal as a reminder of his failure to protect his family.

Also, when Hunter is looking at Crosshair only the skull half of his face is in the shadows, and when they start arguing later, his face is completely engulfed in Crosshair’s shadow. But when they make up, they both face towards the sun shadows behind them.

Perhaps symbolizing they've only been half of Clone Force 99 with Crosshair’s shadow looming over them, but now that they've made up they can look towards better times.

Oh my gosh...how did I not notice this??

Y'all remember the lighting Joel Aron (one of the guys that makes the Bad Batch) mentioned regarding Hunter and Crosshair? How symbolic it was gonna be?

The shadows on their faces look like each other's tattoos!!!! 😭💜

Deeming how Tech only barely shows any semblance of a crush on Phee, I’d be more hilarious if they reacted like:

Crosshair: o-o Why didn’t you mention THIS?! Hunter:I didn’t know about THIS either!

I need a scene after Crosshair meets Phee for the first time, he leans over to Wrecker and Hunter and is like, Tech got her!? in complete disbelief.

And they just nod proudly

Also that thing he did, placing explosives on their ship to create a distraction, is what Hunter did in Episode 1 Season 2

Please forgive me, I'm throwing more ingredients into the CX-2 pot. 😆

We see the operative use explosives (Wrecker), a sniper rifle (Crosshair), a knife (Hunter), and computer gadgets and overall limber acrobatic stealth and intelligence (Tech). One could also say ARC Trooper strategy/possible mechanical limbs (Echo).

Do you think that means anything? Is this operative an amalgamation of all of them? Is Clone Force 99 fighting...themselves? 🤔 Or IF it's Tech, he has just incorporated all of his experience and knowledge to become one single super soldier? Has his DNA been enhanced by Hemlock who surely must have the CF99 genetic material/info leftover from the Kaminoans? What about Omega? She's "part of the squad, too." If we get to a point where CX-2 realizes who he really is and that happens to be Tech - emotion/feeling (Omega).

PS: I know a lot of people associate that knife with Cody, But I think it's more associated with Hunter. *shrug*

MAJOR TBB SEASON 3 EP 11 SPOILERS

So we don't know how TBB are going to get Omega back but in these photos here:

Well, Hunter went emo, but other than that in the last photo on the right we can kinda see a mountain like Tantiss. Obviously, they're not in the Maurader because it blew up so that checks out and they're using the same tactic they've been using since season 1, leech onto a bigger ship to get onto the planet.

It's probably not Tantiss since they do fake-outs all the time, but it will be interesting to see why Hunter lost his paint.

Tech Returns?

So yeah, people are freaking out because there's only 4 more episodes left in The Bad Batch :( but more importantly is that enough time to bring Tech back?

If the answer is yes you might be delusional. Emphasis on might, it could happen, and Tech can live happily ever after with Phee but honestly, when has romance ever worked out in Star Wars?

If the answer is no then listen to this: Crosshair had two season’s worth of redemption, the tale of the brother who willingly killed and burned down innocents for the Empire of His own free will. If Tech is CX-2 then he could be the reverse of Crosshair, the brother stripped of personality who willingly(?) kills and burns down innocents for the Empire of free will(?) but instead of redemption they never get him back. Again they have to live with having their brother trying to kill them knowing they can't get him back.
