please note: since this challenge takes place in my mainsave and is part of an ongoing story, i'll only play part 1 (mt. Komorebi) and part 2 (Sulani) of the challenge due to story reasons.

Finn is very lucky that one of his friends is originally from mt. komorebi and could convince his parents to let Finn stay at their vacation cabin for free! this is totally not me finding an excuse to give Finn a proper place to live instead of having him sleep in a tent during winter...

ever since i started playing the globetrotter challenge Finn's health is acting up extra hard. it's as if the game wants to punish me for having him enjoy his life. (i'm using adeepindigo's healtcare redux mod an Finn has the anemic trait in case you're wondering)

i couldn't stop laughing when Fuyuko pulled out that binocular while standing right behind that poor fellow. his messages must contain some spicy details.

and with that it's a wrap. you could probably tell that towards the end posts got a bit shorter. i'm still surprised how easy it is to power through the mt. komorebi aspiration without even trying. i'll pause the globetrotter challenge for now as it made me realize that rotational gameplay is really what I enjoy. but exploring mt. komorebi for the first time (shame on me) was a lot of fun!
Now that Faith has settled into Windenburg and completed the "New in Town" scenario; I'm actually ready to turn her into my next/second globetrotter. Only I'm not sure how: can she rent out her house? Do I do vacation rental or residential rental (in Mt Komorebi)? Should she give up her freelancer job (or just take a break..)?
She hasn't been abandoned, yet!!
Currently trying to decide where Scarlett is going to stay while living the beach life in Sulani for a season. It might really help if you all tell me about where your own globetrotters lived.
Then also trying to decide if she starts some university course (presumably by "correspondence") which would at least give an excuse for some of the knowledge required to investigate and fix the StrangerVille mystery. Either that or she's going to develop a close friend/partner who is a biologist or some such... ...
Going on a spirit hunt. We're going to catch a shiny one. We're not scared...

This is Janett Drew. Secret Agent (but don't tell anyone she's a field agent okay!?!)
So far she's been:
⁕ Keeping her shabby Culpepper House apartment.
⁕ Exploring Mt Komorebi (including earning the Worldly Knowledge trait).
⁕ Studying Biology via Foxbury with a B average.
⁕ Chilling on the beach in Sulani.
⁕ Returning to study and earning a promotion at work to boot.
Janett is a bit unhappy. She's come home from a long day in her new position of "head detective" (that's secret agent level 5 to you and me).
J. here is two-thirds of the way through her biology degree. She's already hit the slopes of Mt Komorebi and laid on the beaches of Sulani. She IS craving some time off work (that Tense moodlet they get), but also knows that bigger and better things (i.e. StrangerVille BTW, but sshhhh) await her after graduation.
It's mid-Spring and a Thursday evening, with no work scheduled until, like, Monday.
Finally!! I can't believe how long this took.
Janett has moved from her (crumbling) apartment to a (rickety) first home in StrangerVille.
Of course the neighbours are a little... weird.
So our favourite agent here starts investigating.
Which leads to a secret, messed-up lab. Planting bugs. Listening. Getting a bit freaked out and cloak-and-dagger meetings in the dark of night.
