im writing an aussie au fic(cos im australian) and its like only 3 chapters(so far, i js started it) and i also hc the rosiers as french and aboriginal! and marlene is a surfer 100%. we havent met remus yet but i was planning on making him come from the country/outback like maybe like near the murray darling river or alice springs.
oh and james lives in mosman like the rich kid he is
and sirius is english

and it doesnt like have s3x or stuff like that js swearing, drinking at some point, w33d probably and yknow implications n shit but no smut.

Okay, I’ve always had the hc that the rosier twins are French and indigenous Australian, like I’m fully obsessed with it.
I feel like all the characters are either form Victoria or NSW or maybe even Queensland but idk.
The marauders (James, Peter, Sirius, and Remus) aren’t eshays but they do have their own gang sort of thing and they will pick fights with eshays. Barty however, is an eshay, BUT HEAR ME OUT, he’s only an eshay to upset his dad and break the law bc he likes it. But I feel like he would get so bored of the eshays he’s around bc they don’t have that creativity that he has (insanity).
Remus Remus Remus. He’s a country boy. He’s got that thick Aussie accent (I just wanna see it happen tbh) and same with Mary.
Marlene, Dorcas, Xenophilius, and Evan are surfers. They spend too much time at the beach literally doing anything they can. They love the beach and Pandora, Emmeline, and Lily would join them bc they also love the beach. They would all collect crabs and starfish and put them in a big bucket and then put back where they’re supposed to be but Evan (the little freak) would secretly keep some to do experiments on.

This is Eirene's reaction to the first round, as you can see she was affected by Randgriz's death since. like all the valkyries, she was one of the children she raised in the Hesperids garden. Eirene refers to the valkyries with flowers, Randgriz was her jasmine, the flower that represents kindness..

Tales of Asgard
Season 1, Episode 3
Sigrun
Starts with the beginning section of the Tales of Asgard cartoon...
Sif questions the validity of Thor's public training which annoys him greatly. She then bests him with a farm tool, which says as much about Sif's skill as it does Thor's.
Then instead of joining the Valkyries (as she does in the cartoon) she goes to train with them with a view to joining when she is of age. She is conflicted about her unreciprocated feelings for Thor and Haldor's love for her (a decent man and a fine warrior, but pointedly not Thor).
Thor questions his father and asks if the guards have been going easy on him so as not to humiliate him in public. They have. Thor is more annoyed and leaves, Balder follows him. Odin tells Algrim that he thinks it is time for the Odinsleep and that perhaps an answer will come to him then.
Lorelei steps into another part of the court and begins bringing Asgardian men to her thrall using her new found power. This spreads fairly rapidly and ends up including the Einherjar, Volstagg, Fandral and Loki. There is a mild scuffle, leading Lorelei and her new army to retreat to a secret way out of Asgard that even Odin didn't know about and has it sealed behind them.
Frigga manages to leave via another secret way out with some female Einherjar.
This all runs concurrently with Sif's storyline.
Sif spends time with the Valkyries (these are new Valkyries to replace the ones that were slaughtered by Hela, so no Brunhilda), led by Kára. She is told an ancient tale of how they rode into battle to stop an unsolicited betrothal (Sigrun). This would need a tweak from the Norse legend so that instead of her lover killing her betrothed, the Valkyries rescue her from an unwanted betrothal after her lover is killed. She joins the fight and is taken into the ranks of the Valkyrie. The thematic link being that they favour fighting over matrimony and support other women at their time of need. Just what Sif needs to hear. Then word gets to them about Lorelei.
Lorelei is now wreaking havoc across eight of the nine realms (she doesn't get as far as Midgard). The Battle is epic and features Asgardian women led by Frigga and other females from across those eight realms (Dwarves, Light Elves, Vanir, Frost Giants, maybe even a handful of Dark Elves, fire demons, giants and undead). Lorelei's forces manage to push Frigga's back to Asgard and manage to put themselves between the women and Odin's bedroom (also enchanting Thor and Hogun on the way). Lorelei means to enchant Odin too. Balder stands in her way, she must not control the Odinforce. Though it is hard to resist, Balder can't be swayed and has to fight friend and foe alike. Just when he thinks he is done for Sigyn and the Valkyries smash through a window and rout Lorelei's forces from the other side. She is captured and thrown in a repurposed, all female dungeon (prisoners and guards). She vows terrible revenge.
All the women are alternately celebrating the win and reprimanding the men. Sif is brought the news that Haldor was killed in the battle.
I love my valkyries somuch
Gwyn bared her teeth. “I refuse to leave you here.”
Emerie’s pained face told Nesta enough: she understood. Saw the logic.
Nesta said to Gwyn, “It is the only way.”
Gwyn screamed, “IT IS NOT THE ONLY WAY!” And then she was sobbing. “I will not abandon you to them. They will kill you.”
“You need to go,” Nesta said, even as her hands began shaking. “Now.”
“No,” Gwyn wept. “No, I won’t. I’ll face it with you.”
Something deep in Nesta’s chest cracked. Cracked open completely, and what lay within bloomed, full and bright and pure.
She wrapped her arms around Gwyn. Let her friend sob into her chest. “I’ll face it with you,” Gwyn whispered, over and over again. “Promise me we’ll face it together.”

Winter solstice 2.0
You know how Feyre and Cassian got drunk and fucked up the decorations....I have this headcanon that during the next solstice held at Nesta’s house,The Valkyries who are in charge of decorations will get drunk and mess up the decorations again. Only this time they’ll drunkenly sing off key songs and decorate each other with the decorations. And then Azriel and Cassian will walk in as Nesta and Emerie are trying to stick Gwyn on top of the tree and they’ll just look at them innocently,Nesta and Emerie holding on to Gwyn who’s holding on to the tree and Cassian will be trying so hard not to laugh and Azriel will just mutter “Not again”
my tbr books watching me re-reading ACOSF for the 9th time:
So, during the infernal training ring where the Illyrians saw how my three amazing Valkyries killed it, it is mentioned how Azriel stared them down until they left.
And I just have the feeling that the sole reason of this was because he needed to make sure that they didn't gave the Valkyries a bad glance. I am sure that if any of them had look at either of the Valkyries with murder in their eyes, Azriel would have killed them right there and then.
And if they had even sneered towards Gwyn, Emerie or Nesta?
They would have wished for death.
*sighs* I had to:
THE CAULDRON AND THE SHADOW SINGER:
Azriel: but what if the cauldron was wrong?
The Cauldron: what the- Do I have to explain mating bonds to every mated pair in Pyrinthia? Why am I always getting blamed? Blame the Mother!
Azriel: "the third one"
The Cauldron: The third-? You know what? Screw this. You want to blame me for the mother not giving you someone else's mate? Great, go for it. But you know what? Boom, your shadows won't say anything.
Azriel: "his shadows had not warned him"
The Cauldron: how's that? And now, BOOM, she's smiling at your shadows.
Azriel: it was directed at his shadows
The Cauldron: Huh? How's that? And here you go, BOOM, she's kicking you out
Azriel: "are you kicking me out?"
The Cauldron: He's staying, why is he staying?
Azriel: "I can't sleep without my favorite dagger"

The Cauldron: They're joking with each other. What is happening right now?

The Mother: YOU TOLD ME TO MAKE MATES GET TOGETHER IF I WAS BORED!
Azriel questioning the Cauldron and then having a spark in his chest for Gwyn wasn’t a coincidence
So y’all know how Sylvie explained enchantment to Loki? Well I remembered a certain scene from Thor Ragnorok and it makes me sad to think about it…
Sylvie: “I have to make physical contact and then grab hold of their mind.”
Loki: “How?”
Sylvie: “It depends on the mind. Most are easy and I can overtake them instantly. Others, the stronger ones, it gets tricky. I’m in control, but they’re there too. In order to preserve the connection, I have to create a fantasy from their memories.”
Now, what Loki does isn’t necessarily creating a fantasy from a memory, but he accesses Valkyrie’s memory from when Hela destroyed the other Valkyries.
Loki was able to “enchant” Valkyrie. So, ultimately, Loki learned enchantment himself in the sacred timeline sometime after 2012 and never needed Sylvie to teach him that. It’s kinda sad because they have a great bond but I know it’s not gonna last much longer :(

Here is a fun festive commission of the Valkyries for all of my Gwynriel and Valkyries stans . Found family has always been really big in SjMs books and I absolutely love the relationship Nesta , Em and Gwyn share in ACOSF .
My Headcanon is that Nesta being the Queen she is she would find a way to share solstice with her found sisters too create small traditions that is exclusive between them.
