Some studies on captain fancy pants himself. Damn you Shatner and your perfect face... Happy Birthday mon capitan

This time we’re looking at publicity photos from “The Man Trap” with Sandra Gimpel in and out of her costume. Ms. Gimpel was originally a dancer who learned to perform stunt work and had already been on the first Star Trek pilot “The Cage” as one of the Talosians in the background. One last round of publicity photos from “The Man Trap” on Sunday.

Star Trek or Porno
'Star Trek' is about acceptance, and the strength of the Starship Enterprise is that it embraces diversity in all its forms.
George Takei
I wanted to cast a woman as second in command. NBC said no way.
Gene Roddenberry
To cast Mr. Spock, I made a phone call to Leonard, and he came in. That was it.

Normal television limits what you can do. With science fiction, you can exercise your imagination more. I fell in love with it.

We still love Star Trek, it's just a shame that the eternally new one always has to bite the dust! Probably the running gag!

Leonard Nimoy, William Shatner and DeForest Kelley, 1987

i watched the von dutch video and saw myself in the reflection
i find it so fucking strange that William Shatner, the guy who played Jim Kirk, who famously said the line "Leave any bigotry in your quarters. There's no room for it on the bridge." is transphobic. how. literally HOW. how and why. i am. so fucking confused. i know actors are not their characters but you'd think he'd adopt at least a FEW of the progressive values that Star Trek has always strived to uphold????? what the hell man

Star Trek 1x29: Operation—Annihilate!, 1967
Shatner really said “I think I could fight god” and then wrote an entire movie about it
Especially if that cishet guy is Shatner
cishet guys' opinions of star trek literally dont matter
Can we just leave Shatner in space?
"Kirk out"

"Second star to the right, and straight on till morning," Kirk told Chekov at the end of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. After he said that, they gave the original characters a few seconds of screen time before fading out. Then across a screen of stars, the actors signed their names (and I might have teared up ALOT lol). I then took the final images and those signatures and combined them into a gif. Such a good movie (minus the slow clap near the end lol)
