X-Men oc!!!

Their power consists in manipulating their cells at will, they can bend their own flesh how they want
BUT
It hurts. A LOT. also it's not instantaneous, it can take some minutes or hours, like growing and healing scars
I… I don’t know why… but I did a thing.
Azreal was originally my next gen Oc for the apocalypse universe but now I have moved him to three other universes.
Apocalypse azreal
the tribreed son of Peter, warren, and Kurt aka quicksilver, angel, and nightcrawler. He was born from a experimental boi experiment that the three agreed to being that they where already married and where told this experiment woutgive them a child and it did. Azreal only had the ability of teleportation and shifting (he got that from his grandmother on Kurt’s side). later in life he had to get his wings cut out of his back since that where not forming properly within him. His speed is only in fight mode as he calls it being able to make a sonic boom if wanting to. Because of him being a tribreed he was hunted and forced to be in human form half the time outside of his home at the institution.
Evolution azreal
This version of azreal is the first of the kodd-vise kids. He has a pretty good childhood being able to hang out with his cousins the daughter of rouge, Queenie. His ability are identical to Todd and Kurt’s with the addition of shifting from his grandmother in to a human form, Azreal can not shift in to different forms only a human form of his own like Kurt’s cloaking watch does.

This version of azreal is a bit darker, when born Kurt didn’t feel like he could properly care for a child let alone a child born from there enemy at the time azreal was also considered a teen birth since Kurt was 18 when this happened (Kurt is canonically 20+ in the show) so azreal was raised by those at the Xzavier school not know the nightcrawler who trained him was his dad but knew the toad was his father. He grew to somewhat hate his parents for abandoning him but well after the fighting and all the pain both his parents got back together and decided to raise there now teenage son. He looks like a shark and doesn’t have any of Todd’s abilities but can teleport, shift and has heightened agility.

This version of azreal has no back story as of yet sadly.

I might actually redraw this one because I made a conjoined universe where all four of the azreals and there sister talia are actually siblings, I’ll give that story there own post.

In this universe toad, nightcrawer, quicksilver, angel, and the scarlet witch where kidnapped so there dna could be used in experiments. Kurt was the main component as the half breed son of a demon lord, From these experiments five artificially created mutant children where born all with Kurt as a father. samael, Uriel, and azreal all have toads dna ,because of the different mutations the scientists got they used this combination three times, Michel is a tribreed of Kurt, petter, and warrens dna the only successful one to be born, and finally Talia was Wanda and Kurt’s daughter. Once the rest of the X-men had found the kidnappers they saved the hero’s and the five children. Kurt and Todd being married where assigned primary guardian but the other parents could have there time with them.
I’m going to be making this in to a fanfic here soon so kodd fans keep your eye out.
I just wanted to draw my x-men next gen kids, so we have Gabriel Wagner, Uriel Toynbee, ruby and Isaac alvers, and Quinn “Queenie” LeBeau. I love my little x-kids crew please ask me about them I would love to yap about them.

This is locust, he is Kurt’s twin brother who was separated from him at birth by accidentally teleporting into the void as a newborn were he was raised by Cassandra nova. I have it in my head that dp&w is connected to the x-men apocalypse universe soooo ya!

Welp, haven't posted an actual art thing in a bit but I finally got something that I am pretty happy with how it turned out! Anyways, this orange blob is a x-men oc that I made!
And a long explanation on what she is ahead
This character is a mutant. Her mutation caused her to literally become a sentient blob of slime.
She doesn't have a name because she can't really remember it. Which is due to something I'll get into in a bit.
For now we'll call her Slime just to make things simpler. Slime was found one day while some of the x-men were on a mission, she was quite excited to learn there was more people out there like her. Going along with them when they went back to the mansion.
It's learned that Slime doesn't have the greatest memory. Or rather, a very complex memory system (i could go on about this but it would entail a long ass rant). When talking about what she remembers in whatever moment, it's like memories from completely different people and events from different time periods. And due to this, Slimes perspective on what the present is tends to change, she gets confused and tends to be forgetful of things or people. Even her own identity.
She started to keep a book to atleast keep track of what is happening in the present when important things happen. Which tends to be a lot of things and that book gets filled up fast.
Now for some abilities. Slime is able to manipulate her body to any shape or form. When in a body of water, she can absorb that water and become bigger. Or expel water to become smaller. And able to control the density of herself. When needing to get away, become more fluid. Need to hit something? Become more dense.
I want to talk about her more but I want to do it by going more in depth about her and the stuff she's got going on. Anyway, this is my glorious lesbian puddle baby
But besides all of that, I have been fixating on characters from DC and marvel lately. Idk, some of them are just fascinating to me and my little artist brain just has to make an oc because why not?

Mmmmm groovy X-men (totally not self-insert) character, Midas! Man I love drawing her. Her wild expressions and big, poofy hair is just sksksnsn so much fun! And she’s not actually related to the New Mutants in any way—I just thought that it would look cool!

So, I’m really late to the party on this one...
Turns out, through all this time that I’ve been putting off my writing, because I was unable to properly envision my OC’s appearances in my head, I never knew about a little website by the name of picrew.me. It has changed the game...
What the hell, right? I just went on TikTok today and saw people posting with the available character creators and I felt like an idiot for two reasons:
Because I’m a writer, not an artist. I’m too impatient to sit for that long to draw out as many characters as I need to for my main original novels or the occasional fan fiction I write to test out new OC’s personalities.
Because I grew up playing “dress-up” games like every other member of my 2000’s baby generation (I’m 20) and I never for a moment thought of trying to find a program that might be able to do my art for me for free (not that I don’t support people going to freelance artists, I intend to seek one out for book covers soon, but I just lack the budget to get portraits done for the number of characters I have).
So, what the hell is wrong with me, right?
I’ve been wasting all of this time struggling with what I couldn’t see and now...? I’m writing more than ever and I’m not confused! It’s a huge weight off my shoulders and I finally intend to share a few of my creations to show off some of the different art styles offered by the selection of character customization programs...
My first example is Persephone from my latest endeavor into writing an X-Men story.
She’s a young mutant who was born into a Jewish family with the power to control and manipulate plant life. However, this ability didn’t develop until she turned ten and ran away from the hand of a violent father and straight into the care of a marooned alien. One we all know and love, Groot who crash landed on Earth (an event that will eventually lead him to Rocket in the years to come, but for now this moment is set before X-Men: Days of Future Past. Before Magneto’s speech is given on tv and life changes for mutants forever).
With the help of her mutation, she’s able to hide Groot’s true identity as an extraterrestrial. Claiming upon her arrival to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters that she made him by accident when her mutant-phobic father raised a bat in hand to kill the "abomination" he'd brought into the world. Not that it was entirely a lie, she could replenish and understand him through her abilities. And we all know how protective our beloved seven foot tall tree monster can be of small, mostly defenseless, screaming creatures.
As for the details of her abilities, they follow thusly:
Her canine teeth are elongated and incredibly strong along with the rest of her chompers as her mutation affects her metabolism and she needs to eat a large amount of heavy protein to maintain her strength, meaning beef, chicken, eggs, fish, etc. She identifies as a carnivore, because eating uncooked veggies can get a little awkward when she can hear the cherry tomatoes in her salad talking. Asking not to be eaten. As a result, she takes classes and puts herself in charge of planning meals/grocery shopping for the team. She’d rather die than eat unseasoned food.
Her hair grows like a weed and resembles the color to boot. Flowing in lengths of green, but it changes with the seasons. Going from lime green in the spring, to emerald in the summer, red, yellow and chestnut in the fall and in the winter...seasonal depression kicks in with a force to turn her flowing tresses black as potting soil. This however can be treated with her depression through the use of stimulants, mood stabilizers and a cubic butt-load of coffee, because just like pine trees, her internal biome loves acidic foods.
Though, because of its composition and advanced growth rate, she keeps her hair teased neatly into locs and can be often found preening herself whenever she’s not grooming every last sprout and bud in the Manor’s greenhouse where she lives with Groot to keep him company. And depending on her mood, her hair can sprout flowers based on whatever she’s feeling. Anger will sprout a crown of thorns, heartbreak grows anemones and intense love could cause whole bushels of forget-me-nots to bloom in their mesmerizing blues and violets.
And who do they bloom for? For the very first time after years of attending Xavier’s school? After being kidnapped by and defeating Apocalypse? Saving Warren/Angel’s life...? Why of course it would be one Mr. Kurt Wagner, fresh out of the circus who would take one look at her green hair with freckled, clay-colored and his blue features would go straight to purple after the fight in realizing that he wasn’t alone. There were other mutants out there in the world who looked different and Percy...? She was nothing short of her namesake. A true Spring goddess who melted the moment he wandered lost into her green house and wasn’t afraid of Groot. Even after the giant tree tossed the boy across the room like a rag doll, thinking he was attempting to sneak up on his little green-thumbed friend...
Needless to say, they would hit it off, despite a few trials given the disapproval of her new best friend, Warren who was still bitter about Kurt accidentally burning his wings during the cage fight. Though, with the new, fluffy white ones that Percy would help him grow with a special herbal brew...? After the X-Men agreed to take him in an hide him from his family...? He really had no right to complain...
And you never know...maybe one day because of them, a new generation of X-Men might come into the world...

Meet Cova (They/Them)! This is our first ever Mutant/X-Men OC!
Their mutation sorta turns you into something like them (blue, glowing markings, horns, etc), that they can eventually control the longer they make skin contact with you. If you end up looking entirely like them, they can have full control of your body and puppet you into doing things. You’re entirely conscious throughout it, too! If they stop making physical contact with you, however, you’ll slowly go back to normal.
We decided that if Mystique can be naked in the films, so can this OC. They do wear clothes on occasion, but only ever oversized shirts that don’t belong to them and nothing else.
This is Connor Wane, aka, Nightowl! I made him specifically for OC x Canon lmao so they’re shipped with Logan and Kurt both (polyamory, yay!)
His mutation mostly just makes him out to be an owl-creature of some kind, but specifically, their mutation grants them wings, claws, talons, a tail, a situational healing factor where he can only heal under direct moonlight, night vision, and featherlight weight and stealth.
