I feel bad not being able to focus on @thechaossuite even though we're having a whole special rn,, trust me, I'm doing my best, but because of the things here, I'm so busy with everything
Basically, I just need to write out the ending and I'll be free to edit all the weird moments, phrasing, and etc out of this "x yes man" fic which is... Whoa! Never expected to actually getting so far! The prospect of editing ≈4k of words in a foreign language makes me a little nervous yet very excited (this experience definitely helped to expand my vocab)

Worldbuilding in Five Tag Game
Another super belated thanks to @athenswrites for the tag! I LOVE worldbuilding and talking about my worldbuilding, so this is perfect lmao. For this one I'll be using my WIP, Crown of Blood. It's the only one I have decent inspo pics for. None of the images are mine! I found them on Pinterest!

Castle Pieris
(Name is a placeholder.) Technically belonging to the king, it's the current permanent resident of Princess Adrasteia, as a gift for her birthday. As King Silas III has yet to bequeath a castle unto the rest of his children, it's largely accepted as a blatant act of favoritism. Previously the stronghold belonging to a warlord of Sylvatica (a nation-state-turned-province after being conquered some decades back), it served as a holiday villa for several generations of Adecian royal families).
As such, there are centuries' worth of wards, traps, and other tricks (both magical and mechanical) built, powered, and neglected by both Sylvatican and Adecian residents. Magic is etched into each beam and brick.
Pomari Town
One of the closest and most prosperous towns near the Palace. A bustling place that still manages to feel small, despite being so full of life. Lilia (the protagonist of the original story) and her mother live on the outskirts.
Pomari specializes in small magic craft productions (such as potions and talismans), as well as fashion. There are plenty of guilds in the area. The residents are primarily merchant class, with the occasional lower-end nobles occasionally residing there during the on-seasons in secondary town homes. The peasants that live there are usually employed as commute cleaners and servants, with properties closer to the edge of Pomari. (I'm not the best at economics so I'm definitely going to be workshopping this more at a later date).

Jeopardy Episode Idea
I came up with this idea while watching jeporady with my fam.
Ok so for the gen z kids there should be an episode where they bring in older people and have the categories be gen z / millennial stuff. 2 ideas for categories are "finish that tik tok song" and "name that dance". For the song category we could play popular songs of tik tok and cut them off at a certain part. For example for "sex" by eden we could cut it off right before it says "Oh no I think im catching feeling". That is what they would have to say to get it right. For the tik tok dances show clips of dances and have the contestants guess the name. Like show a clip of someone doing "the woah" and have them guess that name.
Idk if there's already something like this but if there is plz let me know.
I have imagined love so much that I fear I have ruined myself for ever being able to recognize it. That upon finally meeting it, I will let it pass me by like a stranger or in my weaker moments scoff at its outstretched hand as if it were a bedraggled beggar, angling for petty coins in the street. But then again, to believe the imagination capable of such cruelty? To accuse it of creating horrors beyond comprehension and enfolding them in the blinding lights of wonder? How would one even – no. To follow that road would be to invite Death within my soul. And while it would not be a complete death, it would be a death none the less. Better then to let the imagination have the final word. Because after all, if love should not present itself as either stranger or beggar – but in fact not at all – I cannot think of a more safeguarding haven than the wonderous lies of the imagination.
