Crying at the first sentence of this letter signed by thousands of Catholic nuns.
"As vowed Catholic religious and our partners in mission, we wholeheartedly affirm that transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals are beloved and cherished by God."

Riso piece i did for JAMONJA, a fanzine organized by fanzinelaraya on ig. 🌹🩸
Wait, some nuns of the order of St. Claire in Orduña have been asking the bishop for a licence to sell their pastries at the Derio monastery for 10 years, to no avail.
And they're so fed up they have officially rejected the Pope, archbishops, and bishops, and are now creating a schism inside their order because they're gonna sell those fucking pastries whether they like it or not.
WTF is this fantasy!!!!!
Alternate Hail Marys
The modern Hail Mary was birthed in the sixteenth century; prior to this, the Hail Mary existed both as shortened versions of the modern one, and with completely different structures. The earliest form of the prayer, dating to the twelfth century, was simply “Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb”, itself a combination of two Biblical verses that have been used together since the seventh century. By the beginning of the fourteenth century, the name “Jesus” was added to the end (in case you weren’t sure who Mary’s son was, I guess?). But this wasn’t the only “Hail Mary” being circulated among the Catholic laity and monastic orders. In fact, there are a number of German and Latin Marian psalters and early rosary forms that were composed of 150 different Ave Marias each! Here are a couple of examples of some of these other Hail Marys. “Hail Mary, rose without thorns, You were born to comfort me. A queen of high birth, help me that I shall not be lost.” (13th Century) “Hail Mary, branch of Jesse, From you came the Noble One, Jesus, your Child, whose sweet Name Took away from us all our sins.” (late 13th, early 14th Century) “I greet you, rose garden of heaven, The chosen, the pure, the tender one. You noble, sweet rose blossom, Entreat God for me through your goodness.” (14th Century) These different Hail Mary’s were usually correlated to one of the psalms; the prayer would attempt to summarize the theme of a particular psalm, and then connect that theme to Mary or Jesus. “Hail Mary” devotions like this would continue to be composed up until the seventeenth century, but the sheer diversity found even within a single devotion made it hard to memorize; the modern rosary, with its singular form of the Hail Mary and its focus on the narrative of Christ’s life, was much easier to perform without having a written text in front of the devotee. Heyo
you guys ever played Goldthorn. pretty good doom-like. False Prophet is still so frickin' hard to beat though, I'm surprised that they've made such a difficult (albeit rewarding and fun) doom experience when it's usually a blast about tearing everything in your way. It reminds me of Shrine 1 and 2 by Scumhead (cool free game). heavy Chrisitianity in it too, so that's cool.

Animatic of American Pie but it's the last supper
"drove my chevy to the leevee but the leevee was dry" is jesus' tomb being empty
"bye bye miss american pie" is either DIRECTED AT Jesus or Jesus SAYING IT to his loved ones
"those boys were drinking rum and rye" literally the last supper
"singing: this'll be the day that I die" jesus being aware of his betrayal and execution
add to this if you want. blehhh.
Christianity is actually really cool
I just got done binging Wendigoon's old series on Dante's Divine Comedy, and I have to say, it really gave me an appreciation for just how awesome Christian writings, and by extent the bible really are. It's so hard to appreciate the cool aspects of Christianity these days because so many people in Gen Z associate it with right-wing politics and annoying preachers. It's much easier when you are allowed to take in these ideas without people pressuring you to believe a certain thing about it.
And sure, there are still many ideas I disagree with, but the ideals of virtue in helping others and the way it's explained in the Christian cannon are really inspiring to me. The reputation of Christianity would be so much better with secular people if there were more Christians willing to explain Christianity in a manner that wasn't so pushy and judgmental.
Anyways, I just felt inspired to write this post and put my thoughts out there. Check out Wendigoons videos on Dante's Divine Comedy if you ever get the chance.

Best game ever its trying to turn me catholic

I want to go back to Santiago de Compostela, I think it really is my home.
look i’m not catholic but i feel like we just don’t talk about mary mother of god enough. cause everyone talks about how jesus is gods son and how god sent him down so he would sacrifice himself for humanity and he was The Martyr and really noble and that’s all true but like. he was mary’s son too. mary lost her son. she lost her baby boy. and he was never really hers but he was put on earth for all of us. imagine being a young mother, holding your baby in your arms knowing that he’s destined to die and knowing that you can carry him and hold him but you can’t keep him. was our lady of sorrows the first to ask “can you lose it if it was never yours in the first place?”
