Dnd Campaign - Tumblr Posts
Ey, so even after posting those two, I got four others cookin in my drafts, just wanna know who wants what first (I did not specify, crap.. the slave!reader is the one I posted about not too long ago, it's a One Piece slave!reader)
Ah shit
So, we started dnd with a campaign based off a book series the dm really likes, and apparently he can't find any fanfiction of it anywhere...
So
Yeah
Someone said to post our sessions (I think this was me) and someone else said to post on Tumblr (this was who the hell knows) and..
Yeah
Now we're here
I'll do one post for each session and we've already had three, so expect more hopefully
(FYI, book series is Arinthian line)
Haven't read it myself but someone else in the party started and I have only heard good things about it 👍
anyway
Characters are-
May: 12 and Atlas: 13 (brother and sister)
Asher: 16? (Random dude they met (still a player))
Rest are the actual characters and/or npc's
Not too many npc's as the dm (as far as I know) does really well with keeping with plot and having cannon characters we enteract with.
So, yeah, first session! :D
(Need fecken food🚶♀️)
_____________
Atlas woke to the smell of smoke only to open his eyes to a raging fire not far from him. He leaped out of bed, running around, trying to find what had happened to cause such a flame to take their normally tame home. He leaves his room and looks down the hall not long before he sees the door to his sister's room do the same, her head poking out, mimicking her brother's. They ran to the front door, barely making it out and falling into the snow right outside before some parts of the house started collapsing.
The fire seemed to be only the beginning, as when the two looked out to try to spot their parents, their eyes only landed on the corpses of them, surrounded by guards in strange armor. The king grinning down at said bodies.
"Well damn," A (May's player) stated with a look of half surprise, half amusement at the quick start.
"Uhhh," J (Atlas' player) muttered with a look of slight panic. Yes, he is the one who read the book.
"Well, what do you wanna do?" The dm questioned.
"We should probably try to sneak out" -J with sarcasm.
"Yeeeaah" -A
The siblings, sensing the very clear danger, turned to try to make a quiet getaway.
"Alright, roll for stealth." -dm
"Ah, shit." -A, with a slight history of bad rolls.
Both roll, A successful and J failure.
May, with her smaller form, managed to silently sneak past falling wood and burnt straw with little to no sound, successfully making it to the white woods next to their house. Atlas, not so much, comically stepping on a stick as he passes, looking up to see the alerted guard.
"K, roll a wis save." -dm
J rolls a wisdom save and succeeds.
"Do you look up?" -dm to A
"No, I just look at where he broke the stick" -A, (thinking: with a look of 'wtf, a stick, really?')
One of the guards locks eyes with Atlas. Atlas, for a moment, gets a strange feeling when he sees the guard but quickly brushes it off. He takes off running, attempting to flee in a different direction than his sister. He runs and runs for what feels like forever, the cold air burning his lungs before he hears the guard stop suddenly.
He continues to run for a little longer before slowing down and turning to see that the corpse of a guard had stopped as if there was an invisible wall. It looked forward at him for a moment before turning around and walking back as if it had all never happened.
Atlas stands there stuned for what felt like hours, but couldn't have been minutes. When he gains his composer again, he turns to where he thinks he saw May run off in.
"Roll investigation." -dm
Rolls and it lands low, but not a one, thankfully.
"It takes you a while, but you do find her." -dm
Atlas wondered for what definitely had to be at least an hour or two before hearing sniffling in a bush. He walks over cautiously before spotting his sister's dark, shaggy hair poking out of some leaves.
He walked over, making a little more noise, trying to alert May of his presence. When May's head turned so quick that Atlas felt like his own neck hurt from it, she spotted her brother and rushed over to him, pulling him into a bone crushing hug. She sobbed into his shirt for several minutes, him crying quietly into her hair.
Atlas was the first to get the tears to slow, he knew he needed to stay strong for his sister.
"Yeah, May is balling her eyes out." -A
"Atlas is definitely upset, but he knows he needs to hold it together for now." -J
"What do you guys wanna do now?" -dm
"We should probably set up camp, start a fire." -J
"Let's get closer to the buildings so they think the smoke is just another building." -A
J gives a thumbs up.
Atlas and May managed to gather themselves enough to get a plan for surviving. They got close enough to hide the smoke, but far enough that they didn't have to directly watch their home burn.
Atlas started the fire while May went off to look for edible berries and any other food.
"Roll survival" -dm
A roles and gets a natural 20.
"Hell yeah!" -A
"Holy shit!" -J
"You find everything, you know exactly what's edible." -dm while laughing.
"I got extra training with mom and dad." -A joked.
"You were the bakers favorite, so he taught you much more. As in, he loves you more than his own son." -dm
This caused the whole party to start laughing.
May quickly locates the berries, edible flowers, all with practiced ease. She brings back an arm full and lays them out for her and her brother to start eating.
"Show off," Atlas says, laughing lightly and ruffles May's hair. Atlas was only a year older but always acted more maturely than the typical 12 year old. Atlas knew he had to take charge now, knew he needed to keep his sister safe...
No matter how crazy she acts sometimes.
The next day, they got up, and Atlas led the way back to their, now ash, home. They tried not to think too hard on it as they dug around the remains. Atlas made quick work of finding a strange book. It didn't look like their usual story books, which surprised them, as that was all they ever knew was in their house.
"Wait, THAT book?!" -J
"Yep" -dm
Atlas pockets that for later.
May digs through for any rations.
"Roll investigation."
A rolls, getting a natural 19.
A throws their hands up in victory.
"Yes! I find all the food!"
That night, they had a fire that was burning out with a tent holding in what little heat they had from the soft breeze that felt like it was cutting through them. Atlas was looking over their rations, just talking out loud.
May was at the small opening of the tent, just sitting there, half listening to her brother when something strange caught her eye.
"Roll a d20 real fast." -dm
A rolls, and it lands low. A grimaces.
"You look down and see ice slowly crawling up your finger, barely making it to the knuckle before receding and repeating."
A sits there in confusion then amazing.
"That's so cool!"
May watches as what looks like vines of ice slowly slither up her finger. She wasn't sure what to do, but it didn't matter as she was too stuned to do anything while the ice went back down before rising again.
"Hey.. Atlas?" May attempts to get her brother's attention, but he continues to ramble. She makes a few more calls before yelling at him. He makes a sharp turn to her, still on guard with what happened only a few hours ago.
All train of thought stopped, however, when he looked down at what she was referring to. Just as she was, Atlas was frozen in place, confused before a thought came over him. He rushed over to the book he had pulled from the remains of their home and looked through.
He brought it over to May, showing her where it talks of "Arcanery" and how to control it. This confused them both, weren't their parents just.. well.... what were they? They never seemed to really need anything. This was all thought by Atlas, as May was busy with the seemingly alive ice on her finger.
"This is so cool! Hello little guy!" May leaned in, trying to get a closer look, completely infatuated by it.
"Do you say that?"- dm
"Yeah, it just sounds so cute." -A
"It quickly retreats, as if embarrassed."- dm
"Dang it!"- A
The ice quickly retreated from her finger after the comment. This upset May. She began talking to it, apologizing repeatedly. To any passerby, she looked crazy, talking to nothing.
Atlas went from amazement to confusion at May's choice of passing the time. He went back to reading the book. (The dm has us roll to see how far we get through each chapter, but I can't remember off the top of my head how far we got)
When he got as far as he felt he could for the night, he offered the book to May. She took it with no other words exchanged. She didn't get as far into the book before giving up for the night. They ate their fill of their dinner and attempted to drift to sleep.

another one of my characters, my beloved Mihael <3 she is such a big part of me I cannot explain in words

Some rough storyboards for a scene from a D&D campaign I'm playing in

Aldis Itilhini
A half elf (w/drow) in one of the campaigns i’m currently playing
So I'm joining a new dnd campaign.
My DM has allowed me to be a yautja!!!
I just have to make him a bit more humanoid, but when I finish who wants to see the finished product??
Comment if you want to be tagged!!!

Here's what you all voted on. My new D&D character, Apollo Kelby. He was raised by two female humans. So he's not a traditional yautja. His mask was left with him when they found him, he also had a dog. The ones that look like a dog version of a yautja. It died when he was around 17 in human years (about 48ish actual years.) His parents died when he was 19 (50ish years) and then he left home and started adventuring.
Let me know if you want anymore stuff about him, like stories (xReader) or imagines/headcanons, literally anything
*puts a magnifying glass in your hands*

Close-ups of one of the maps I'm most proud of
All the details were done by hand, each pencil stroke, and I can't believe I actually had the patience for it all
Full version under the cut

Drawing and painting all the tiny locations taught me a lot, and I'm grateful I got commissioned to work on such a beautiful map. Only thing I regret is that it's so big so many details are lost, when looking at it so I made this post so the close up views might do them justice
Wailing fever
Source: Taking damage from a phonic creature or being exposed to wild magic.
DC: 12
Incubation Time: 1d12 Hours
This maddening infection causes the infected to hallucinate vivid banshee-like screaming every 1d8 minutes times half their class level.
A humanoid that experiences damage from a phonic creature or being exposed to certain forms of wild magic when below ten hit points must succeed a DC 12 constitution saving throw or become infected. After 1d12 hours, the creature begins to hallucinate vivid banshee-like screaming every 1d8 minutes times half their class level. After the symptoms appear, the infected is incapable of taking a long rest and gains 1 level of exhaustion. While exhausted, the creature develops symptoms such as lightheadedness and fever.
This disease cannot be cured or removed by magical means. However, spells such as Lesser Restoration and Lay On Hands or other effects that cure diseases may suppress symptoms for a day whenever applied (roll constitution saves with advantage).
At the end of each day, you must make a Constitution Saving Throw. If you pass, add 1d8 to the number of minutes between each scream until the value is 60. For levels above 10 the value is 100. Once you save enough to reach 60 or 100, the disease is cured. However, you must roll 1d4 the value of which determines how many days the infected must endure ear irritation after the disease is cured.
If you fail your constitution saving throw, you must subtract 1d8 points. If the value reaches zero, the infected succumbs to madness. The character experiences vivid visual hallucinations in addition to the screams and has disadvantage on ability checks. To recover from the effects of madness, you must roll Constitution Saving Throws until your minutes between each scream reaches a value 10 points greater than your original 1d8 (x half your class) role.
Elves and half-elves are immune. A humanoid so infected always has a minimum of 1 Exhaustion for the duration. The affliction if not cured by constitution saving throws persists for d6 weeks. Add 5 to your d6 roll if you’re failed constitutions saving rolls falls to zero.
Linette Oak-Garica
Note: character I’m playing around with for either head canons or a one shot entailing Lark Oak-Garcia having a child. If you ask about them. I do have list of rad-facts.
Linette, nicknamed Lindy, is the human bard/rogue member of the Quest era teenage group.
During her early childhood, she was raised sheltered from the outside world. She was removed yet content. Happy interactions with her parents kept her from feeling the ill effects of seclusion. Throughout this early stage, her parents, father especially, took the opportunity to teach her necessary survival skills. By the age of five, she was capable of shooting, making camp, and other viable skills.
After a monstrous attack involving her mother, at the suggestion of her uncle, Sparrow Oak, she and her father moved closer to his family. With little explanation for the move, as well as the discontinuation of her training, Lindy took up baking as her new hobby. Born one year behind her cousin Normal, the two were somewhat raised together, developing a relationship akin to that of siblings.
Amongst her classmates, she’s considered the sweet cinnamon roll, popular girl. However, though she’s a bit rusty, she’s capable of holding her and disposing the evidence. That said, during her adventures with the Quest crew, she displayed symptoms of PTSD when faced with firearms and shadow-like monsters.
Do you ever wonder if the echoing voices during Laudna's messages are the voices of the other individuals who hung beside her?... Yeah, me neither.
ACE ATTORNEY / DRDT CHARACTERS AS THINGS SAID IN THE DND CAMPAIGN IM IN SO FAR (will reblog with more after every session if i remember)
SPOILERS AFTER THE CUT
David: ...so the two cities might not come to arms. Min: I don't have arms.
Klavier: Do you want a soothing tune? You seem on edge. Trucy: What's he edging to? (trucy would have this kind of humour fight me on this)
Teruko: It's 3AM, what horses are awake? Ace: I don't know, nocturnal ones?
Klavier: We need some dramatic music for this moment. *plays the super mario bros theme*
Barok: Woohoo! I'm racist!
Manfred: You can't trust poor people.
Ace: Levi's not got feelings so he doesn't matter.
Ema: They're a bit ugly though. I mean you are a twink, so...
Apollo to Klavier: Aren't you at 9 as well? Ema: Mentally, he is.
Ace: Levi can't fit through the door.
Teruko about MonoTV: They're a bendy bit of metal.
Manfred: You don't want to touch her because she's a poor person.
Hu: Can you please go upstairs and help the guests? Ace: No <3
Barok: I will have your family executed.

Trucy: It's average. Like Polly.
Barok: I'm high on the noble food-chain.
(the ones abt levi not having feelings or being able to fit thru a door are bc that player is a war-forged monk so is a big lump of metal as we affectionately call him) (im so sorry if these are so ooc augh)

Day 17: Dungeon.
Potions ready for your party’s needs.
#feedistkinktober
So I am starting my own campain soon and i want everyones advice. It's inspired by the crimson egg/blood egg on the dream smp. Most things are diferent from the role play, but I am naming based on the names of people, places, items, and even pets.
The story is in basic form this: the players are at the starting town, because they are hired to guard some people or event that is moving to the next town. They don't know why they are hired. Later they find out that they npc's or event has to pass near a dungeon to get to the next town. They get attacked on the way to town and fond out the only way to safely deliver the npc's or event to the next town they have to take down the dungeon. They do this and get to the next town.
Once there they decide that they are staying a group. So the keep going on advetures to gether, and as they do they start to notice strange things. These strange things are being caused by the egg, as they find out soon after.
So they set out to destroy it, and battle the eggs generals, after fighting about 1/4th 9f the generals they find out they have to destroy something else before they can destroy the egg. After fighting 2/4th's of the generals they find out what they have to destroy looks like. After fighting 3/4th's of the generals they find out where it is. They then rush there and destroy it. Then they fight the final general who is guarding the egg. After defeating the general they destroy the egg. Everything after that is tying ip loose strings.
Please tell mean how well you would think it would work. I appreciate any non-toxic feed back.

DnD Warmup sketches
I'm in a desert themed DnD campaign inspired by 1001 Nights and Egyptian Mythology and the like.
My character, Raihaan Seacaster, is a half-elf fighter, specifically a mirage flavored echo knight. He was originally inspired by Sinbad the Sailor, but Raihaan has taken on a life of his own as an oblivious Momma's and Papa's boy who used to sail across the sands. He's dumb, but he's doing his best. LMAO
Also here in the third picture is Jinn, the party's bard/warlock! Jinn and Raihaan are an unstoppable team but are also the kind to get into trouble the most as a duo.
