About Uchiha Izumi

Since the whole Uchiha clan is alive and well in Flip The Coin, I decided to feature her, the only sensible Uchiha around. Most of the things I said about Izumi in chapter 5 are canon (expect like she’s maybe not the youngest sharingan user? She just awoke it younger than Itachi and I made that leap cause she deserves it) from fillers and novels, but I’m not actually familiar with it, I’ve just read the wikia. And MY but what a painful read. I mean I’m used to the Naruto girls being treated like garbage, but this was so much worse.

I had to read this with my own two eyes and now so have you. What the fuck. I mean really, what the fuck. And this happened like, late in the manga. REALLY late. Late enough that there had been plenty of butchered female characters in Naruto before and plenty of criticism about it. So how. Why. Why would they do that. Did no one stop to think that maybe this was a terrible idea? The worst thing in that they actually tried to sell this as… tragically romantic? Somehow? My eyes are bleeding.

So it is highly probable (not so say absolutely certain) that her relationship with Itachi won’t get romantic in that fic. He didn’t actually do any of that in there but… Like I can’t do that to her. I can’t. They’ll stay friends though and she’ll help pull his head out of his ass. Hopefully.

I got an au idea of after the incident where most of the Kaioshins of the 7th Universe were killed or disappeared and considering how Zamasu was sparred with Kibito Kai that implies that Shin knew Zamasu and by extension Gowasu. I’m thinking likely in an attempt to humble his student quite a bit and have him to gain experience by his own accord (with attendants that reports to Gowasu) that Gowasu decided that Zamasu should be a temporary Supreme Kai of the 7th Universe with Gowasu visiting him and be a guide (hence the need of Zamasu’ attendants being loyal to him and can report him if Zamasu is having an issue) and Shin, to help him to recover as well to complete his training, is taken to the 10th Universe under Gowasu’s guide.

It would be interesting if Zamasu would try to Majin Buu and would he ally with the Earthings/Saiyans or uses them? The question I have for this role swap AU is that if Beerus have a life link with Shin or Zamasu, and I could imagine the conflict if Zamasu get attached to Universe 7 and vice versa with Shin in Universe 10 that they may decide to be Kaioshin in the others universes for longer or permanently.

A random fanfic idea ft Shin and Gowasu

I love to see Gowasu and Shin to interact more in general but also after the Moro Saga, this time their dynamic would be slightly different because Gowasu had lost Zamasu who he cared about him and in a way by interacting with Shin, there are some feeling of redemption because he sees Shin as a young fellow at least he won't screw up, and for Shin to develop some faith in himself and his abilities of maintenance of his universe. I don't see why not Gowasu helping Shin out in return of his presense give him some respite due to Gowasu was at Shin's side and wasn't happy to find out Shin wasn't invited during the Kaioshins meeting before the ToP really began. Whilst I don't think Gowasu knew exactly what happened to Shin during the Moro Saga but he knew it was serious since Whis planned with the intervention with Cus' assistance, ordered by Beerus because he is not taking any chances with Shin if Shin was wiling to give up his life to the Grand Priest, if Shin dies, he dies as well.

these are loose redesigns since their canon designs don’t really read as their roles all that much to begin with. some extra doodles and ideas for this in the cut !!

nami, vice captain: i took a lot of inspiration from her beta design!! canon nami already bosses everyone around so she fits right into the role. she wields an extendable staff (usopp still makes it for her); she lost her arm over the time-skip like how zoro lost his eye. i LOVE drawing cargo pants and boots, so she ended up with a sorta bottom-heavy design. frankly it’s probably not her style but i like how she looks

zoro, the cook: my foolproof logic is zoro uses swords = good with knives. he does not use katanas to cut produce however, just normal knives. i was trying to go for “sweaty ramen guy” with the towel around his neck. the majority of the shit he cooks would probably be drowned in alcohol. he also wears his bandana the majority of the time now!! it completes the ramen guy look

sanji, the sniper: i also took inspiration from his beta design for this!!! he has guns!! and perfect aim of course. i was going for more of a mafioso look so germa 66 would be like, a mafia organization on top of all the other villain shit they already do. he has two guns but i didn’t draw a holster bc that’s annoying🤞 he lights his cigarettes with his guns. how would that even work? don’t ask me

usopp, the navigator: his artistic talent lends itself to creating perfect maps! he also still tinkers, making nami’s staff as well as having a specialty for compasses. he uses a slingshot still (no perfect aim we gotta nerf him) and shoots weather-related projectiles. his goggles serve as binoculars, they can zoom to several different distances. i drew him in his zou outfit purely bc it’s my favorite one

chopper, the helmsman: he would predominately use heavy point while maneuvering the wheel. i changed his hat up to look more like a sailor’s cap, with an anchor symbol instead of an X. to be honest i don’t have much else bc helmsman doesn’t bring much to my mind :(

franky, the musician: ROCK N ROLL BABY YEEAHHH come on his stage presence is unmatched. he’s still a cyborg, he has instruments all over his body like apoo does but they were installed manually. his personality changes depending on what genre he’s playing but rock n roll is his default B) (ex. classical calls for a refined gentleman)

robin, the shipwright: her devil fruit gives her as many helpful hands as she needs! she developed nami’s arm (definitely installed some random shit she did Not ask for). she has a robot mecha that she’s able to pilot all by herself using clones. i changed her orange sunglasses to goggle eyewear

brook, the doctor: the irony of being nursed back to health by a literal skeleton 💀the irony of being the doctor of the rumbar pirates yet being the only survivor, saving no one from the poison 💀 i went for a plague doctor look! IM VERY HAPPY WITH HOW HE TURNED OUT i was really tempted to give him the plague mask too, but i feel that would’ve changed his appearance too much compared to the others

jinbei, the archaeologist: the shape of this man demands a little pair of round glasses on his face. he’s an intellectual i tell you!!! plus still a fishman karate master. the history of joyboy and fishman island being so intertwined is how he developed an interest in history

Kel's 14th birthday

Kel stood in his room. What day was it? What month was it? Did it even matter?

He heard a knock at his door,followed by someone yelling his name. He went downstairs to check who it was.

It was Aubrey. She really changed her appearance a LOT in that one year. She bleached her hair,she seemingly ran out of toner half way through though,so it had orange patches. She wore her bow as a hair tie,somehow.

She had a box of a dozen cupcakes. They resembled white bunnies with pink bows as bows.

"Uhh,you okay,Kel??? You look kinda disheveled..." Aubrey said,snapping Kel out of his trance.

"Uhh,yeah,I'm fine! Come on in!" Kel blurted out. He quickly looked at his hair. It was more matted then a mat,well,it would be considering that he didn't brush or cut his hair for one YEAR.

Aubrey entered the house,and shut the door.

"Kay! Want some??" Aubrey says,offering the box to Kel.

"Sure!" Kel took a bite out of one of the cupcakes...they were really good! When did Aubrey learn to bake?

Aubrey was already stuffing her face with 2 of them.

"Aubreeey." Kel gave her a playful glare,earning a laugh out of her.

"Sorry- These are just really good!" Aubrey said with her mouth full,spraying crumbs all over the couch.

"Woooow,way to compliment yourself!" Kel playfully told her off.

"Bleh,whatever!" Aubrey said,crossing her arms.

"...So,what do you wanna do?" Kel asked.

"Wanna bake something?"

"Yeah! What do you wanna bake?"

"Garlic bread!"

"You be one of them aces?" Kel asked,giving Aubrey a curious glance.

"Hell yeah!" Aubrey half-yelled,throwing her arms in the air.

"Me too!" Kel said,smiling.

The two got up,and proceeded to start making garlic bread. They started eating it like they hadn't eaten in 4 weeks.

After that,the two layed on the couch,and fell asleep. Kel moved like a damn rotiserie chicken until he found a comfortable postion,meanwhile Aubrey was laying right on the edge,about to fall off.

What more can I say? This was how Kel's 14th Birthday went.
