scrolled a bit too far while looking for a reference (i was making the sugar rush people from wreck it ralph in dress to impress cause im obsessed with their character designs) and i saw an inappropriate headcanon (??? idk what to call it but it said that two of them went at it) about two of the characters 🙁 these are literal children guys wtf 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁
i physically reacted and said "ew?????" cause what the hell....
it just made me sad cause why are people like this 😭
OC Info Card: Soursy Tartsludge
Soursy Tartsludge is a DLC character for the mobile/console release of Sugar Rush!! They're based on the Slime Licker candy.
SO MANY WORDS UNDER THE CUT YOU WERE WARNED
You know how Cookie Run: Kingdom has a different intro screen for every update? They did that with the Soursy Tartsludge update!!
(also guys the slime under their eyes IT'S GLASSES PLEASE GUYS)
They're also a glitch. Since the mobile release of Sugar Rush has voice chat (but has penalties for cussing), they hacked the filters to cuss. Soursy has a foul mouth!
Eventually, someone plugged in their phone into Game Central Station on accident to charge it, and Soursy escaped the mobile game! They went on to venture into the Sugar Rush cabinet.
Soursy was made fun of by the other racers for being the only sour racer. (Which is kinda dumb, but the racers are all around ten years old. Little kids are brutal.) So when they went into the cabinet, they met Vanellope, and bonded over their bullying!
They're also the adopted sibling of Captain Alvarez (my brother's Hero's Duty self insert)!! Soursy came from the Internet, they've seen a lot of violence and witnessed Call of Duty matches. They got bored of the sweets and visited Hero's Duty every now and then to watch from behind a rock (LMAOO)
The first time they met, Soursy panicked and ran/glitched back into the game central station. The second time they met, Captain grabbed Soursy with the suit's massive hands, and they FREAKED out. They were FRANTICALLY glitching trying to get out of his grasp, until Captain clarified he wasn't going to hurt them. Then they calmed down. Eventually, they encountered each other again and started to bond.
Soursy sometimes sticks to his back, so they can watch everything going on without getting hurt!!! During an active match, they can yell at him "ON YOUR SIX" to let him know that there's a cybug approaching behind him! SIBLING TEAMWORK!! And then when the arcade closes they both go to Tapper's!
From that point on, Soursy never returned to the phone they came from. They're well aware that if they die, they're not coming back, and that makes their little life even more thrilling!

Thanksgiving
It's Thanksgiving today! You may have already known that, but it's nice to announce anyway.
(Warning: Much of the rest of this post will be sentimental and will involve my life up to this point along with random memories. Read at your own risk.)
I'm personally thankful for having friends. I've never really had the chance to have friends since I was eight; my parents were constantly on the move, and I was homeschooled. Since I never took roots, and since I was never surrounded by people outside of church, I slowly went away from social-ness and became an introvert. Not that that was a bad thing; I began doing more solitary hobbies such as video games and maze-drawing, which have now become ingrained into my very being.
My parents then adopted my brother (who is actually my cousin) two years later. He's a social flutterby, to put it lightly. We get along for the most part, but he ended up being my only "social" contact. As a result, we have our own little quirks and inside jokes that no one else would understand, which doesn't help with being social. It just creates more of a box.
Then I began going to smart school just last year, which is like college at high school. Jumping from a conservative Christian bubble to a worldly liberal social setting was a stretch at first, but I like having friends now. I click well with my circle of friends, possibly because we're all smart and most of us share similar views. It also helps with being away from home.
Now that I've troubled you with my sentimentality, here's a song for Sonic After the Sequel that sounds like a sugar rush.

Bolta Loseatoothz;
What inspired me.... Well it's pretty simple actually! I loooooooooove gummies. Like so much. And one of my favorites are he Teeth gummys. I love the strawberry flavor mixed with vanilla.
And the fact that the teeth gummies are clearly not cute. I wanted to experiment and make her "unique" so like, she tries to blend in with the other racers but once you spot her it's nearly impossible to not see her.
As for her name....
Bolta came from my head, I was trying to think of a name for her and I was having a headache, after a while of analysing other racers names, I noticed they were catchy and like a vocal stim. At least for me... So after trying many names that sounded too normal (which it didn't fit with her at all) Bolta came to my mind. And after repeating it a few times I LOVEEEDD IT. Sounded so catchy.
And well, Loseatoothz is a silly word game. But since you say it fast you don't quite notice. Like all the other racers which have a pun. "Lose a tooth" and the "z" at the end to not make it obvious LOL.
Now about the Ankle monitor...
An ankle monitor is something that police give you when you are serving some kind of deal u are facing but it gives you the freedom of not being in a cell. You can be at your house. Tho, you are literally being monitored by police with the tracking device (the ankle monitor)
This being said, she has one because she slipped up many times. That may have been for her careless driving ,or overall poor driving skills. Let's remember that she has a lazy eye that troubles her vision. She most of the time ends in last place.
They put her an ankle monitor to monitor her every move, she is a small troublemaker that only wants to be accepted even if she has a small birth defect.
