So, I have a mutual who's Turkish, as far as I know. Which means they're not a native English speaker, right? (I'm not one either, mind you. So don't come at me screaming about racism/xenophobia.) And because of this, they tag their posts with pictures of little babies as #thick babe. 💀 I'm not even kidding. Y'all can see it for yourselves. 💀💀💀

I mean, my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when I saw this for the first time. And then I realized. 😭😭

Now, I genuinely hope they're doing this because they don't quite understand what "thick babe" actually means, and what it's generally used to describe. And I don't think anyone has tried to tell them they shouldn't do this, either. So they're still posting pictures of infants and tagging them as #thick babe.

I wish I could talk to them about this without making things extremely awkward. 🤦‍♀
