I can't tell if I improved. Because 1: I redrew it digitally, and 2: this is an 8 month difference. I will say that I can draw side proportions slightly better. Also I tried to follow @/erikathegoober‘s painting tutorial, and I think I did a pretty good job. :3

🌱✨I haven't posted in a while so any saves and shares are appreciated. My iPad broke before New Years so I haven't been able to post anything. I had many wips made but I never got to finish them. So I'm planning on buying new equipment soon. I drew this during my ComTech class when I finished my work quickly. I could've posted some of my work from art class, but I promised myself to post a Newt Scamander redraw first thing every year. So here's that. Hope you liked it! ✨🌱

🌱✨Yearly Newt Scamander Redraw 2023 Edition - Swipe to see the older versions. Y'know, after a few years of doing this, i just found out that Newt's eyes are blue-ish. On the HP Fandom Wiki, It says that his eyes are "hazel". But in other sources AND Eddie Redmaybe's Eyes are blue/green-ish color. So idk what color are his eyes so i based it off Eddie. Cuz why not ✨🌱

I still haven’t watched many more DSMP streams, so I’ve never actually seen Revivebur outside of fan art, but I adore c!Wilbur’s character arc and concept. Five months ago I had done a quick portrait of him in an attempt to deal with art block, and did a similar thing a few days ago, finishing the second piece just today (as of writing this). (:

ID and some of the changes I made are under the cut! (: Critique is always welcome, and I hope you have a lovely day/night!

Changes Made:

I used a reference this time and it paid off in the hair and facial construction. The new neck and mouth are still a little weird though.

Wilbur is now facing forward, showing more of the stitches across his face and the patch of skin.

The anatomy is generally a bit better - the shoulders are a bit wider, and the lips are finally decent looking. The eyes are definitely more realistic and fit in better with the rest of the piece.

His clothes are a bit cleaner now, and his jacket is in a bit better shape. The pin however, is a bit more desaturated, to look older.

This is one of my OCs for a role play that me and my irl friends have and I thought I'd post this cause he's a cutie. He's a demon and his name is Golly G. Willikers. (G for short) ❤️
