what do we think about tatsujun fix-it au? what would you fix?
OMG!!!!! Thank you for being my first anon!!!! I'm so happy I could cry.
This is a tough one! I'm not too familiar with fix-it aus, but I will do my best to answer it as well as I can > . < If I misunderstand the concept, please let me know!
To be fully honest, I don't think there is anything I can say I would actually want to fix about tatsujun. There are things to criticize the games on of course, but I can't lie. I adore everything about them. I don't really have any good ideas that would objectively improve their story. Keep in mind this comes with a very heavy bias, I am hardwired at this point to see anything even mildly related to tatsujun and go "oh my gosh...", so of course tatsujun itself would have me rendered speechless and unable to think critically about their story.
But, I'll do my best anyways (๑>ᴗ<๑)
The only thing I'd really want to see fixed with tatsujun is a happy ending for the both of them. It's a bit bitter, seeing them suffer so much just to end up broken or empty on the inside. All their hard work and dedication towards one another for naught. But even that's so appealing on it's own, I can't say it was a bad decision on the developer's end. Winning a happy ending by the skin of their teeth, sacrificing everything to protect big sis just as they promised as children... Gosh, there's so much to love there too. So please don't mistake me saying all of this as a dislike for the canon ending.
However, of course, I want to see them happy. There are so many ways to go about it too... I truly think I could talk about it forever. Tatsujun happy endings are my favorite. I can't help it, I'm a fluff lover at heart. Especially tatsujun domestic fluff... So I'm constantly thinking of ways they could earn that happy home together.
To start off basic, there's always finding each other post canon. Without the freedom being children granted them, burdened by the woes of adult life... It'd be an interesting mirror of their canonical selves. Whether they meet early in college, or end up falling in love in their 30s/40s, I think it'd be beautiful either way! A perfect stranger, someone they feel this odd connection and comfort with that cannot be explained. Anemoia...
But, if we are getting really crazy and self indulgent, I think them working together in Eternal Punishment's story could be cute. Tatsuya and Jun promised they would protect Maya together.
I don't think Tatsuya would be one to reach out, he has so many regrets and is still traumatized from everything that happened... However, Jun being more active instead of passive could work! I won't lie, I love that Kashihara gets to just be an innocent kid watching from the sidelines, unlike Kurosu who was put through the ringer. I just want Jun to be happy. But, it does also fit him to be more proactive too. Just like how he got into the Joker situation by trying so hard to make people take his dad's theories seriously... Good intentions getting him into a mess once again... Ahh, I'm weak.
After the aerospace museum... So many questions, too few answers, a lighter that he knows doesn't belong to him now burning a hole in his pocket, and an overwhelming sensation that there is something he must do... His only option is to chase down the deja vu boy and demand answers. The two of them getting to protect Maya together like they promised... Jun getting revenge on Nyarlathotep, who had taken everything from him. Mama, Papa, Tatsuya, Maya... And, perhaps most importantly, repenting for their sins together.
Jun said he wasn't leaving Tatsuya's side, after all. I doubt he'd let Tatsuya talk him into leaving him by himself. Tatsuya's loneliness brought him back from the brink of erasure, there's no way he'd let him isolate himself again! Mirroring the ending, Maya getting the option to either cling to them one last time, or let them go... Tatsuya and Jun confident that Maya has grown into a strong woman who can take care of herself, getting the chance to finally protect each other. And of course, living a happy life together on the other side.
I don't know if this is exactly good enough to "fix" canon, but it's a fun au to think about! Lots of plot holes and character themes being thrown out for some tatsujun goodness, but I tried my best. Perhaps I'll come back to this someday with some better ideas. No promises though! I'm such a perfectionist, it could take me weeks of brainstorming to come up with something I'd consider even remotely passable.
Once again, thank you so so so much for the ask!! I'm so incredibly happy to know you liked my headcanons enough to want to hear my thoughts on more tatsujun. I'm always happy to ramble about them, so if you're reading this feel free to drop a suggestion in my inbox! AUs, headcanon topics, ect are all welcome!
I may or be not (I definitely am) planning on rewriting Riverdale to make it better. If anyone's interested in being a part of the project just let me know.
It has SO MUCH POTENTIAL as a show but the screen writers didn't make it what it should've been!!! And I know the whole show is a joke but it genuinely could've been good!
So anyways, if someone wants to help me I would be eternally grateful (I'm looking for creative people, yeah, but also just people who've seen the show so I can bounce ideas off of you and discuss plot lines).
Hey if someone else is interested let me know!! So far theres two of us and we are going to start working on a script to rewrite ep 1.

AU where everything is solved by Wei Wuxian and Jin Guangyao becoming friends after Sunshot

frankly I’m astonished this didn’t happen
think about it
these two were the ones who came out of the Sunshot Campaign with the most glory (and notoriety)
they both have relatively low cultivation (rip WWX’s golden core) in a world that’s pretty elitist about it
they’re both alienated from their immediate society, and most of all
they’re both capable liars hiding secrets

My post game AU
!Warning spoilers for Rebirth ahead!
Canon differences:
Aerith asked Tifa out on the Shinra 8 and their first date was in Costa
Cloud went on his "date" with Red while the girls had their own date
Tifa helped save Aerith by leveraging Cloud's sword to deflect Sephiroth's blade
Aerith was saved but has a scar on her back from where masamune grazed her

^approximate scar locations for the girls
Post game:
As a reward the Planet revives/heals several loved ones for the gang; Ifalna, Myrna, Seto, Brian Lockhart, the Avalanche trio, Zack, Sonon, & Claudia Strife
Aerith and Tifa live in the plains outside of Kalm where Aerith grows a variety of flowers and vegetables
Tifa works in Kalm as a bartender and eventually comes to own the bar
Cloud and Jessie reunited and finally have their date
They never truly settle, but Jessie picks up acting gigs at the Saucer while Zack and Cloud are traveling mercenaries (though Cloud tends to stay near Corel)
Barret and Myrna pick up where they left off and she helps him reintegrate into Corel's society where they both work to improve the town
Marlene is skeptical of Mryna at first but warms to her quickly, she has a brief depressive period when they have a son but Barret reassures her that she isn't a lesser member of the family
With Seto returned to flesh, he takes time to connect with his son and really teach him about their history and how proud he is.
They work together to find a cure for the Gi
Claudia settles down in Corel wanting to remain close to Cloud and also not wanting to return to Nibelheim
Brian and Ifalna settle near Kalm as well (separately they just live near each other)
Ifalna helps Aerith learn about her culture and helps out with the plant business
Brian works as a farm hand at Bill's
Tifa and Jessie were the ones to propose, Aerith said yes before Tifa finished and Cloud thought Jessie was joking (but said yes once it was cleared up)
The kids:
Rosalind Ifalna Gainsborough-Lockhart: goes by Rosie, the older of the twins, black hair and green eyes, she takes more after Aerith physically and in personality but has very little connection to the Planet and magic so she learned Zangan martial arts and the Bo staff, she was a very sick child her parents thought she wouldn't make it into adulthood, while very outgoing she suffers from self-confidence issues and often puts herself down, she is shorter than Lily and hates it (~5'4" while Lily is ~5'8") the twins have middle names because their moms couldn't decide what names they wanted so they gave them names to honor their mothers and flower like names at Aerith's request
Lillian Thea Gainsborough-Lockhart: goes by Lily to her friends and Lillian to everyone else, the younger twin, brown hair and red-brown eyes she takes more after Tifa, she is nearsighted and wears glasses, not as physical as her sister she gained a higher affinity with magic and their Cetra bloodline, she uses bracelets and finger claws just incase an enemy gets too close, she prefers tai chi since it is not combat focused but can perform some basic strikes, seeing the suffering her sister went through caused her to mature faster than her parents wanted from her but she never regrets helping take care of her sister, serious and quiet she often comes off as cold and emotionless but truly cares about all life and has a dry sense of humor, she is very sure of herself and her abilities so she tries her best to raise up her sister whenever possible, they developed a fighting style to synergize her magic with Rosie's physical abilities
Dyne Wallace: Born shortly after the events of the game making him the oldest of the kids, very much takes after his father in personality and physicality but decided to have long hair that his mother loves to style, around 6'4", he is more humble than his dad but still over the top and goofy, not a fighter at all he wants to become an ecological preservationist, becomes an older brother figure for the twins and Cloud's daughter, though he is easily convinced to make mischief
Claire Strife: Born the same year as the twins coincidentally, soft blond hair and brown eyes she looks like her dad but has her mother's personality, about 5'6", to Cloud's excitement she shows no interest in fighting and wants to become a performer like her mom though she is very skilled with the buster sword, she develops a crush on Lily (which is reciprocated) but neither of them are convinced the other likes them, she has a very close relationship with both of her grandmothers and loves to cook with them
Might add more later but add your own thoughts if you'd like!
Currently reading a lot of Coruscant Guard fics
What if upon receiving info about their assigned positions the whole command batch came up with a strategy of regularly switching posts while on Coruscant.
Initially it's to provide cover for the expected medical emergencies (because Coruscant is safe) or if they'll be in need of different talents for specific long-term missions. Cause even after receiving the same standard training, all of them have specialized in different areas. Not enough to be noticed by outsiders since the batchers know how to secretly provide info and apply eachother's shared knowledge immediately.
Of course it doesn't work out because:
- Some Jedi unexpectedly pay way more attention to their commanders and men. General Kenobi spots Cody in the mess and goes to sit at the same table. Even when the clones switch around he recognizes everyone instantly, so Cody is staying on The Negotiator permanently. One of the best things coming out of this is the opportunity to meet up with Captain Rex and the 501st
- Wolffe sustains an injury that they won't be able to cover like they usually do with other tattoos or scars and after losing almost all of the 104th decides to stay and rebuild his battalion with a very protective General Koon
- Ponds is finds himself suddenly taking over responsibility for the most feral kid in the galaxy. He sometimes wonders if Boba distracting Sing before she could actually shoot him was an elaborate ploy to get a better chance to kill General Windu himself or if the boy actually cared about his not-brothers (Boba cares a lot)
- Bly cannot for the life of him stand motionless during another debate in the Senate without going crazy cause he just cares too much about every honest voice being silenced by corruption and greed. His general also seems to watch him closer than others do and he takes the chance to try to learn more about the war efforts from the perspective of the Jedi council
- Bacara, Monnk, Gree and Neyo are on missions taking them to the other side of the galaxy, so far away that they barely make it back to Coruscant. They can't even enter the batchers' secret communication channels most of the times
- Which leaves Fox to become the "permanent" Marshall Commander of the Corries. He guesses it's only fair because more than half of the awards and decorations on the wall of the office were rewarded for his actions. The other half are mostly thanks to Thorn and Bacara being reckless but highly competent idiots
- Thire, Stone and Thorn joke they got stuck with the most uptight of the batch but later realize that Fox strict approach is keeping their men relatively safe. Cause Fox realized very quickly that Coruscant is in fact not safe
- Everyone else takes a whole lot longer to catch on to the not so subtle dangers stretching their claws from the very inside of the Republic's heart, especially with the Guard starting to drift apart from the GAR silently. It takes the CMOs meeting and drinking too much moonshine to finally connect the dots of why the communication lines went mostly dead
- Cody immediately starts strategizing for escape scenarios and researches uninhibited planets. He needs to survive any possible scenario so he can reunite his brothers. His general notices. Rex does as well
- Wolffe is furious and the wolfpack starts finishing their rescue missions in record time to get to the homefront as quickly as possible. He stops drinking alone like he sometimes did and starts accompanying all of his actions with softer words than usual. His general notices
- Ponds is shocked and starts taking to the shinys more. He also asks Boba about his point of view cause the boy definitely notices things a grown man doesn't. He starts sending regular updates about the developments of the general public's moods and tries to find ways to engage in a positive way with the natborns to bring attention to the men fighting a war for them. His general notices
- Bly is sad and starts reading up on all political and especially civil rights debates he can get his hands on. His general notices and asks her master if he has more intel on current developments in all parts of the galaxy. General Vos hasn't been on Coruscant since the start of the second year of war but draws the conclusion he should dig deeper into the heart of the republic
- Bacara is seething and keeps perfecting his already optimized battle plans. The marines train to annihilate droids by hand. He also keeps stocking up on medical equipment. His general doesn't notice
- Neyo doesn't acknowledge feeling anything. He starts tinkering again. He's looking for ways to design communication and transportation devices from all the droid scrap they usually leave behind on the battlefield. He even learns Jawaese. His general doesn't notice
- Monnk and Gree are determined. They comm eachother and start researching on how to survive long term in unknown environments and writing guides on how to identify edibles plants, safe water supplies, how to test for breathable atmosphere and which species like to live in symbiotic or peaceful ways with humanoids. They mask it as personal interest. Their generals notice
- Fox is panicking. He needs to find a new way to keep Hound from being decommissioned for Grizzer peeing in front of a senator's door the second after a natborn noticed their carefully crafted loop hole to switch designations of fallen brothers for the ones they could still save in the official documentations the Guard issues. He hasn't slept or eaten in two days as his comm blinks with the notification of a General striding through the Guard's front door like he belonged among the Corries. He has no time to deal with whatever the Jedi council wants from them but Thire is already on the brink of breaking down scanning data pads for a new loop hole so he grabs his helmet and runs to stop the force user from asking his questions at the wrong time. Not-his general notices
No idea for an actual plot. Just wanted to think about some hurt/comfort and competent clone commanders being brothers before being soldiers
Fox is trading classified information and his brothers indulge the high prices probably because they love him
Even though they barely saw him, Fox was actually the most sought after little brother in the command batch for several reasons:
Not only was he still adorable to his barely older brothers as they still noticed the same stubborn curl of hair not sticking to the regulation style and the curiosity fueling every very intentional move under all his gruff and overworked exterior, he was also the most experienced in solving civil conflicts.
Contrary to the GAR being deployed wherever necessary, his corps stationed on Cruscant dealt with living (in most cases) breathing sentients of all shapes, forms and in various states of coexisting on a day to day basis. The Corries might not have been as efficient in fighting clankers, couldn't identify the typical formations and moves as fast, but much like their Marshall Commander they were patient and exceptionally well trained in reading social context clues.
Subsequently they were the clones with the vastest knowledge on how to not offend, peacefully interact with and even more importantly protect civilians. The Corries operated on a completely different scale when it came to navigating politically or culturally charged conflicts. One could say what Fox lacked in social skills needed to bond on a personal level, he made up for tenfold on a professional level. He keept tabs on everyone who owed him a favor and never ever ended up in debt to a brother. This put him in a position of being able to unofficially request parts of the other corps' rations and medical supplies even though he was the one who should have the easiest access to all resources available to the clone army.
Bacara has been watching this spiel go on for almost two years by now. He's one of the few who had only dealt in the Guard's currency of datachits for physical resources once. Information about the Outer Dim was hard to come by even for the Guard. He's also sure he paid a bit more than strictly necessary. Sure, it had been his own fault for not striking a better deal, but he wondered if the other commanders were actually oblivious to Fox subtle manipulation tactics or if they just liked him enough to indulge his antics. It's not like Fox was unlikeable. He never asked for truly unreasonable amounts in exchange for admittedly very valuable and not seldom crucial information on their next mission targets. But the Corries still took all they could get.
The Marshall Commander of the Galactic Marines was pretty sure the Guard got their info by spying on the Senators. He and Neyo mused their brothers on Coruscant had to be pretty close to some of the biggest assholes in the galaxy to be privy to those details. No politician would be dumb enough to carelessly discuss highly confidential tactics and locations in the corridors of the Senate building or the official meetings their brothers guarded, right? After all the Corries were no aides expected to be present all the time to bend to the Senator's every wishes, they only provided security where necessary.
Bacara wasn't very close to any of the commanders and wouldn't consider them friends per se, except for Neyo. The 21st was currently on their first and very limited shore leave after more than eleven months in the Outer Rim. His troops only returned to Coruscant for a classified mission for Mundi to run planetside. They all respected their General, but nobody was really interested in the Jedi duties the Cerean cited for their impromptu stay. What his men were actually interested in was stocking up on perishable and therefore rarely available foods and getting a drink at 79's. So that's where he currently found himself nursing some spotchka in a small booth in a corner. Nobody would dare to cause serious trouble and risk ending up in the drunk tanks or worse confined to their own cots back on the ship as long as he's present.
Their leave to Coruscant was scheduled on short notice. He didn't tell the other commanders about it because they wouldn't be at the homefront long enough to organize a meet up for batchers from different corps anyways.
So Bacara didn't expect to see anyone tonight. But even in the half darkness of the bar the very distinctive red of the local Marshall Commander's armor caught his eye instantly. Bacara was well aware the Guard always knee who was staying on Coruscant (he was pretty sure Fox also knew exactly where the others' deployments led them to and who of the commanders was currently sporting an injury grave enough to be reported to their medics and for what reason).
Fox seemed to notice him as well but took his time talking to a natborn Bacara didn't recognize nor care for before sauntering over to the only other clone still wearing a full kit except for the buckets. Bacara resigned himself to a conversation undoubtedly more suited to be held with a sober mindset but seeing the glasses the red armored man carried and the three empty glasses already stacked on his table it was a little late for that, wasn't it?
"Commander, it's a pleasure to see you and your men in our humble abode after such a long time."
Fox voice was smooth and even though he looked exhausted his smile actually reached his eyes. That's not something Bacara had seen often on his fellow Marshall Commander. He's also sporting some barely noticable fine scars and Bacara can't tell for sure what caused those.
"I'll make sure my men won't bother you. We're only planetside for two days anyways."
Fox nodded as he held out both glasses for Bacara to chose from. For a split moment his hands seemed to be a bit unsteady but maybe Bacara's eyes played tricks on him in the dim lights of the bar because the movement was gone in the blink of an eye. He took the smaller drink and held the glass out for a cheer. Fox clinked their glasses but instead of the usual Mando'a used by the commanders he cheered in crisp Concordian.
Bacara blinked. Oh so that's why everyone happily played along with Fox little games. That cold hearted idiot actually cared about them. So even the rational leader of the Galactic Marines being well aware of Fox coaxing him into a slightly unbalanced deal couldn't find it in him to say no too much. Nobody needed to know that he also decided to join the line of GAR commanders sending the Guard even more supplies than they asked for.
I don't know if Concordian actually has a different word for Mando'a "K'oyacyi" and if the Journeyman Protector training Bacara would have any incentive to use it in front of cadets but in this AU Bacara feels valued by Fox acknowledging his ever so slightly different cultural background as well as giving him the opportunity which drink to chose
A Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 Fix-It List

warning: contains major spoilers. I’m certain there are things I missed but I’m so disappointed rn I can’t get them all
since we can all agree volume 2 did not meet expectations, i am adding this as a list of what i will accept as canon instead of… whatever it is that we got:
stancy is dead, gone, buried and had always been such. steve deserves his “brood of harringtons” with someone who appreciates him, not dismisses him as dumb
if we must be forced to see more steve and nancy interactions, it would be kinda refreshing to have something truly platonic. but that’s if and only if nancy supports him and doesn’t always make him feel stupid. i’m not gonna waste any more breath on this stupid shit
eddie made a promise not to try to be a hero, and he sure as fuck is gonna keep that promise. he would never leave dustin like that. he climbed that fucking rope. no man left behind
that scene where mike confesses his love to eleven is uncomfortable and truly highlights how codependent their relationship is. and will is really out here getting caught in the middle of it all. not really a fix, just an ick
jason dies instead of eddie. police point to his increasingly erratic and violent behavior, including beating up a 14 y/o boy and putting a hand on an 11 y/o girl with his shitty friends as evidence. it makes sense, given he was there when patrick died and chrissy was his gf. everyone thinks it’s a psychotic break. eddie’s name is cleared and he finally gets his diploma.
max, my sweet little badass, wakes up from her coma. she is gonna be okay. and she and lucas finally get to see their movie
@chestharrington did i miss anything? feel free to add
Imagine Anakin absolutely losing his mind as it’s explained to him that his marriage is literally illegal because of article whatever subsection b and it’s because 400 years ago there was an entrapment scheme and that’s why Padme is being sued by the republic
God I wish this was the version we got…

Trading jedi-general shenanigans with the squad
Another what-if AU where order 66 gets outmaneuvered and they all get to wear cozy sweaters together

Thinking abt my fix-it au where order 66 did happen, but a ton more clones survived and now a lot of them live on a farm.
In this au Tup was presumed dead, and my reader insert, who worked as a janitor on Kamino, saw that his vitals had come back online momentarily and kind of just took him back to her lil farm.
She nurses him back to health and they kind of start a little home for clones who defect. Tup discovers his love for gardening and has a sick ass vegetable patch.
Fives is also presumed dead, but survives, eventually breaking his way out of the morgue and finding their weird lil halfway house via an incripted comm signal Tup sent him before he was shot.
He stays and finds comfort in farming while dealing with the guilt of being too late to stop order 66.
They wake Kix up, free Dogma and Slick, and help a bunch of other clones.
They don't really join the rebellion, they just enjoy the freedom that comes with everyone thinking they're dead or MIA.
And yes ofc it's a semi-yandere au.
Basically:
Tup: "And this is my wife-"
The clones they just rescued, in unison: "Our wife."
Fuck all of this 😭
Everybody start writing fics where your ocs/favorite characters/reader inserts are safe and happy together after the war. Noone is dead and everyone survived and they all go to the local farmers market every weekend.
I'm literally begging and dry heaving on my hands and knees PLEASE just let these men be happy
This is random but I was falling down the rabbit hole that is tumblr, and I came across Star Wars Au's because like every five months the idea of Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Padme, Rex, and like teen Luke and Leia in the fix-it fics latches onto my brain even though I haven't watched anything star wars related in over a year.
And I feel like people are sleeping on a random idea that I love??
So basically Padme survives out of pure spite instead of dying because there's no way she was going to let her kids live in a world where their father is a sith lord. Obi-Wan never takes Luke or Leia to Tatooine and so he doesn't really know what to do with himself because his former padawan is now a sith and he hates that he didn't see it coming but also...HIS PADAWAN IS A SITH WHAT DOES HE DO??
So he decides to go and try to find any other surviving Jedi because hey why not. He ends up meeting Ahsoka, who by this point has decided to help take down the Empire. They reunite but eventually he tells her that Anakin is Vader.
She doesn't believe him at first but after a while connects the pieces and it's tragic and she's upset and she realizes that she doesn't know if she can actually do it. If she can take down the empire while knowing that she is hurting Anakin, who, while a sith lord, she still cares about because they were basically siblings.
Padme ends up helping Ahsoka by giving her the idea of not actually directly fighting the empire but trying to de-chip all the clones. So she proceeds to find Rex again, which leads to her meeting with the bad batch, which leads to them telling her about the kid (Kanan/Caleb) who survived. So now Ahsoka is on a mission to de-chip every clone she can find and Obi-Wan is on his own mission of finding any and all of the remaining Jedi that survived.
Eventually somehow Luke and Leia, having grown up with knowledge of the force and becoming Obi-Wan and Ahsoka's padawans, end up forcibly dragging their father kicking and screaming out of the darkside and back to the light.
But like.
Ahsoka.
Hunting down clones.
Tricking them because she's not technically a Jedi and then they're like wha??? and then she's just like 'also you have inhibitor chips inside you and we need to get them out' and sometimes there's a fight but she's awesome and most of the clones, once freed, are either sympathetic to the rebellion or they at least agree to help her and she ends up having a full on base with special med bays and all this stuff, and even if a clone is freed and still wants to support the empire she lets them, just asks that they don't reveal this place because she knows better than anyone that sometimes the 'good' side isn't right for someone and they need to choose their own path and she hasn't been found by the empire so far.
I just...yeah.
Cause she knows about the chips.
and she could help.
But I feel like her first priority in the actual star wars canon (which honestly, what even is the canon at this point) was taking down the empire and I feel it would change if she knew it was Anakin.
And really, I just like the found family vibes the entirety of tcw has and yeah.
LISTEN I HAVE MY REASONS OKAY
I’ve edited this post so you guys get to enjoy the meme instead lol
Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

(FYI this meme I’ve made is based off of my fic which has female MCs - I’ll make a gender neutral one soon so everyone can relate <3)

Day 10: Spidering
~ Alien AU ~
Ler!facehugger
Lee!Kane
Word Count: 4.2K
Warning: This is a tickle fic, and a sillier more fluffier spinoff of the Alien universe. If that’s not your cup of tea, don’t read. But! If you want to read a more sillier ending of the Nostromo crew where nobody dies and Kane is fine, then by all means, enjoy! :3
Additional warning: some language & spoilers ⚠️
In Space, No One Can Hear You...Laugh?
Groaning, the previously comatose executive officer, Kane, fluttered his eyes open as he finally came to. His entire body felt stiff and heavy, like he had woken up from cryosleep again. His head ached as his eyes struggled to adjust to the bright overhead lights above him.
Once he finally did, he slowly looked around, observing his surroundings. The air smelled sterile; the room was decorated in all white; medical equipment and tools littered the counters, and a monitor sat nearby displaying his vitals. He was in the med bay.
Rubbing his eyes with another groan, Kane struggled to replay the recent events that just took place. His memory was foggy, but little bits of what happened were starting to come back to him. He remembered the Nostromo crew took a detour from their previous course in space to an unknown planet, investigating what seemed to be an SOS. Upon arrival, Kane went off to investigate on his own before encountering what looked to be giant eggs housing possible alien life.
The last thing he remembered was curiously getting close to one before…something jumped out, and made him black out.
Kane shuddered at the memory. Whatever jumped out of that alien egg and tried to latch onto his helmet and face couldn’t have been friendly. It was a miracle he came back in one piece and was still alive.
An unsettling realization suddenly dawned upon him. What if something did happen to him while he was comatose? Surely that alien life form wouldn’t try to latch onto him unless it was planning to do something to him, right?
Oh no. He panicked, sitting up and frantically looked around the room. What if…they brought the creature back on board with them? The whole crew could be in danger!
Or worse…what if the alien infected him with something that could spread to the rest of the crew?!
Kane’s hands frantically shot down to his torso, trying to feel around for any abnormalities that could already be showing. The monitor beeped rapidly as his breathing and heartbeat increased.
He jumped at the sound of the med bay doors sliding open. The rest of the crew rushed in, no doubt suddenly concerned as soon as they saw his vitals change drastically.
“Oh, you’re finally awake,” navigator Lambert spoke. “You were out for quite some time.”
“H-How…How long was I out?” Kane groggily asked.
“About sixteen hours, actually,” warrant officer Ripley answered as their science officer, Ash, handed Kane a cup of water to drink. “We were worried you wouldn’t wake up, but we rushed in here as soon as Ash alerted us of your breathing and heart rate increasing erratically. Are you okay?”
“I-I think so?” Kane said in between sips. “I can barely remember what happened but—wait.” He set his cup down nearby, looking around the room again. “Where’s the creature? What happened to it?”
The Nostromo crew exchanged weary glances, as if unsure how to answer that. Then, Captain Dallas spoke up. “When we found you unconscious back on the planet, the creature was still attached to your helmet. It…looked like it was trying to penetrate your suit. We carried you back here to the med bay—despite Ripley’s protests about quarantining over here,” he gestured to said officer, who merely rolled her eyes in response. “Hoping we could get it off you, but the moment we tried, it grew aggressive and scurried off. We’ve been trying to find it ever since.”
Kane’s eyes widened. “You mean it’s still somewhere on board?!”
Dallas sighed. “Yes. But we will find it. In the meantime, you still need to rest.”
“Are you kidding? How am I supposed to rest knowing that alien thing is somewhere loose on this ship?”
“Settle down. We still have a job to do here, so go ahead and rest up. Ash’s orders.” Dallas gestured to the monitor. “But don’t hesitate to beep for us if you need anything.” He got a firm nod in response. “Alright, everyone. Fan out and find this thing, pronto. Remember to keep tabs over the comm channel.” The crew nodded and headed off. Then the doors slid shut.
It was quiet in the med bay again. After just waking up from being comatose by an unknown alien creature, the thought of going back to sleep frightened Kane. It was unsettling. He kept checking all around the berth, afraid the creature was going to jump out of nowhere like it did when he curiously peeked inside the opened egg earlier. Which, now that he thought about it, was probably not the most smartest thing he should have done.
After he checked around the berth for the ninth time, he laid back down with a sigh. “Paranoia,” he muttered tiredly. “Captain was right; I really do need to rest.”
He shifted into a more comfortable position before shutting his eyes. A minute must’ve passed before his ears picked up the faint sound of shuffling nearby. Kane’s eyes shot open. Could that have been..? No, no, it couldn’t.
There it was again: sounds of scuttling, only faster. Kane shot up, eyes with wide panic. There, in the corner of the room, stood the dreaded alien creature. It looked like some kind of mutated spider; long human-like fingers shot out of its sides and front while a long feathery tail flicked around inquisitively.
The alien seemed to pose no threat at first, merely observing the visibly frightened human in front of it. But the second it spider-crawled towards the human, they scooted away with a startled yelp.
The alien halted in its tracks, chittering in confusion at the reaction. With one swift big leap, it landed right on the berth, making the poor already terrified officer shriek in fear. The creature paid no attention to this human’s frightened noises as it simply crawled towards them, ready to engage in the activity it was infamously known for.
Kane whimpered and froze in fear as the alien crawled up his chest towards his face. This is it. He shut his eyes, preparing for the worst when he suddenly relaxed as a wave of relief hit him. His fear instantly vanished as soon as the alien wrapped its finger-like talons around the side of his face and its long tail around his neck like a scarf.
Was this thing seriously trying to tranquilize him? Render him helpless so it could do something far more sinister?
Kane tried to fight against the feeling, but the more he struggled, the quicker the effect took over. He eventually succumbed to the feeling, laying back down, completely vulnerable and at this creature’s mercy.
The alien immediately detached itself and began crawling around the human’s torso, tittering curiously. Kane merely twitched at the weird feeling of this thing’s crawly legs all over him. But his frown suddenly turned wobbly as the alien’s skittering legs brushed over rather sensitive spots on his torso.
Kane struggled to muffle the bubbling laughter. No, he refused to give in. Tickling, seriously?! He thought fiercely. This is stupid! What kind of—oh NO!
The dam finally broke as the alien found a particularly bad spot on this human’s left side of ribs. It began spidering rapidly against the spot, adding the rest of its claws into the mix.
“N-No! Nohohoho!! S-StOHOhohohop!!” Kane giggled madly. “Thihihis ihihihisn’t funny!!” He began squirming on the berth, legs kicking as the surprise tickles didn’t stop.
The last thing he would have expected this terrifyingly looking creature to do was this. As grateful and relieved as the executive officer was for not being a victim of this alien’s unspeakable horrors, he wondered why of all things would this alien resort to tickling? What kind of alien race were these things?
He didn’t have time to ponder about it because the alien switched tactics; now it wrapped all eight of its long fingers against the human’s chest and rapidly dug into his ribcage.
The poor officer arched his back with an uncharacteristic squeal as his front and back ribs were now being assaulted with rapid tickles. ‘StAHAHAHAhap!! T-Thahahat’s WOHOHOHOHORSE!!” His squirming and kicking increased as he tried to dislodge the alien off his chest. He tried rolling onto his front, squirming side to side, even trying to pry the spider-like creature off with his own hands, but it was no use. This alien had an insane death grip!
Even with some of his strength already being sapped from the tickles, the creature would not budge even as he pulled with all his might. He couldn’t even loosen one of its long fingers. Kane kept trying; tugging and tugging at its claws with all his might.
But that proved to be a big mistake as the alien suddenly emitted a low hiss. It quickly shot its two front claws under the human’s arms, digging in ruthlessly.
Kane let out an even louder shriek, collapsing back onto the berth as loud laughter poured out of him. “NAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!! OKAAAAHAHAHAY!! OKAHAHAHAY!! I WOHOHON’T TRY TO PR—HAHAHA—PRY YOU AHAHAHAHA—OFF!!” Clearly, this alien did not want to be pried off while it was tickling this human astronaut to pieces!
Instinctively, Kane slammed his arms down to his sides, but that did nothing except trap the still wiggling claws underneath.
“PLEAHEEHEEHEEHEEHEASE!! PLEASE!! I’M SOHOHOHORRY!!” As a last resort, he frantically batted at the alien’s…head? In hopes that it would have mercy on him.
Fortunately, the alien seeemed to understand as it slowed its fingers down to a stop. It tittered and chirped and it watched the human lay limply, panting and breathing heavily. As soon as his breathing returned to normal, he slowly lifted his head up.
The alien softly tittered, flicking its tail all innocently. Kane shot a glare at it. “What the hell?! What the hell was that? First, you give me such a fright and render me unconscious, and then you…attack me in a childish manner like if I am a child!”
Huffing, Kane sat up and brushed the alien off of him. “I wake up from a coma just to scold an alien like a dingbat,” he muttered. “This is what I get for smoking too many sticks.” He slid off from the berth and made a move for the doors when the alien immediately jumped in front of him, blocking his path.
“Move,” Kane barked. The alien immediately hissed like an angry snake in response. Startled by the reaction, Kane backed away until his back hit the wall. As soon as the alien rapidly crawled towards him, Kane yelped and made a run for it. But he couldn’t get more than a few steps before the alien would reappear in front of him again.
With nowhere else to go and unable to get close to the mad bay doors, Kane hopped on top of the berth again. Okay, maybe not the wisest decision, but what else was there to do? Now he was starting to regret agitating the creature.
But strangely enough, Kane noticed how he didn’t feel fear in the moment. He did feel something as the alien was chasing him, but it wasn’t fear. It was something else. He couldn’t quite understand, but it felt like…giddy anticipation. Now? Seriously? Well, the alien didn’t seem like it was going to actually hurt him, would it?
That one split second of being distracted by his own thoughts caused Kane to be unaware of the creeping alien right behind him, ready to pounce.
It leapt with arms wide and landed right on the human’s back, making him let out a shriek that could be mistaken for a female’s. It wasted no time wrapping its fingers around Kane’s torso; three on each side of his ribcage, and two on either side of his neck. It immediately dug and wriggled its claws with no mercy, making poor Kane burst into screechy laughter once more.
“AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!! NOHOHO!! NAAAAAHAHAHAHAO!! NOHOHOT AGAAAAAHAHAHAIN!!”
Kane thrashed like a fish out of water against the berth. The claws grazing his neck made him scrunch both shoulders and giggle like a maniac. The claws spidering ruthlessly against his ribs made him squeal helplessly like a little kid. And when one of those claws happened to claw against his back ribs, he arched his back with another high-pitched squeal that the alien found utterly adorable.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the alien kept switching from spidering its second set of claws from Kane’s highest ribs to his underarms, back and forth, so he could never get used to the feeling.
“STAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAP!! CUHUHUT IHIHIHIT AHAHAHA—OUT ALREADYHEEHEEHEE!!”
It didn’t help that Kane only had his underclothes on. The thin white tank top he had on did absolutely nothing to protect him from this alien’s merciless tickles. In fact, all it seemed to do was make him even more vulnerable; a huge advantage for the alien.
Lucky him.
The alien paused its torturous assault one last time before it would go for the final kill. Kane exhaustedly flopped against his back, the creature still attached, as he tried to get the air back into his lungs. He was surprised the weight of his body didn’t deter the alien at all, or even crush it.
After several long minutes, his breathing returned to normal, but his cheeks were still dusted with a light pink hue. Kane slowly sat up, huffing in annoyance at the feeling of the alien’s limbs securely hugging his torso again. It chittered excitedly, like a puppy wanting to play.
“Alright, get off of me,” Kane firmly ordered as he tried to looses its fingers. “You’ve had your—weird and torturous fun, but I need you to release me now so I can alert Dallas that I’ve found our…guest.”
The alien stubbornly clung on tighter, refusing to budge. “C’mon…let…go!” Kane grunted through gritted teeth. It let out an angry hiss again. Kane sighed. “Dammit, you’re even worse than Jonesy!”
With one last attempt to pull it off, the alien decided enough was enough, and proceeded to tickle the human again. Kane shrieked as the claws started to spider and stroke up and down his ribs again.
“N-Nononono stop! StOHOhop! I dihihidn’t mean ihihihit!”
But the alien wasn’t convinced. It pulled its eight claws away, luring Kane into a false sense of security that made him sigh in relief before plunging back in, tickling mercilessly.
Kane screeched, flopping back onto his back as those evil claws wiggled against his neck, underarms, ribs, and even reach in front to spider against his stomach. No matter which way he squirmed or how much he flailed and kicked, he could not do a thing to protect his ticklish spots.
“STAAAAAAHAHAHAP PLEAHEEHEEHEEHEEHEASE!! I SWEA—HAHAHAAAA—SWEAR I DIHIHIHIDN’T MEAHEEHEEHEAN IHIHIHIT!!”
Then, just to be extra mean, the alien extended its long feathery tail and slipped it under Kane’s shirt, rapidly brushing the sensitive skin underneath.
Kane let out an ear-piercing screech that he would deny for the rest of his life as he felt something soft and feathery brush back and forth against his bare belly. It tickled horribly!
“AAAAAAAEEEHEHEHAHAHAAAAA!! WHAHAHAT THE HEHEHEHELL IHIHIS THAHAHAT?!!” Kane dared to peek one tear blurred eye open, but immediately shut it as the alien’s evil tail slowly traced up and down one side before swishing circles across his belly, and then tracing the other side.
Could this get any worse?!
A sharp tase to the sides, another squeal. Rapid digging under the arms, more shrieky cackles and protests. More quick pinches to the ribs, another funny sounding squeal. Sneaky feathery brushes over the navel, another screech followed by a snort.
This was maddening; this was torture! This was…surprisingly fun?! Wait, what?
Despite all the protests, and flailing, and laughing, there was something oddly enjoyable about this that made it feel fun. Perhaps it was the playfulness of all this. This alien spider thing clearly did not intend to hurt him from the beginning. Was that its whole purpose form the start? To lure somebody close enough just to engage in this silly play?
As secretly fun as Kane was having, he was also reaching his limit. He could feel his entire face was on fire from how much he was blushing. His limbs had given up trying to protect himself. And his sides and stomach were already aching from how much he was laughing. Even his chest hurt; it felt like it was going to burst any moment.
“PLEEEEEEAHEEHEEHEEHEEHEASE!!! JUHUHUST STAHAHAHAHAP ALREADY!!! I-I REAHEEHEEHEALLY CAHAHAHAN’T TAAAAA—TAHAHAHAKE ANYMOHOHOHOHORE!!!”
Hearing the desperate plea, the alien finally showed mercy and ceased its tickly torture. Kane laid like a limp starfish on the berth. He was too tired to even lift a finger. His chest heaved as he struggled to get the air back into his lungs.
The alien noticed how visibly exhausted this human looked after its little attack. So it decided to help the way its’ kind helped all their victims after they laughed themselves silly.
Chittering softly, it crawled towards Kane’s face again, making him yelp. “W-Wait, wait! Not again, please!” He didn’t want to be the victim of another tickle attack. Well…maybe not right this second.
Instead, the alien wrapped its legs around Kane’s face in a loose hug, while its tail wrapped around his neck again.
Okaaay, this was awkward. He wanted to ask what this creature was doing, but his words were muffled by its furry underside. His question was immediately answered as he felt the air return back to his lungs; he was no longer panting or out of breath. His sides and stomach were no longer sore, and he even felt his body temperature return to normal.
When that was done, the alien released its hold and perched right on top of his chest. It chittered and nudged him as of to ask, “are you okay now?”
Kane slowly nodded. “Um…yes. Terrific.”
The creature let out a satisfied chirp before making itself comfy on Kane’s chest, tucking its legs in just like a cat would when loafing. It wrapped its tail around itself, softly purring in content.
Kane rolled his eyes in disbelief. “Are you shitting me? You’re the one tired after I laughed myself to tears and near death?” The alien just chirped in response.
Kane sighed and let himself relax against the berth once more. The med bay doors suddenly slid open, getting his attention. The Nostromo crew walked in, wither with wide eyes or relieved smiles. And were they…stifling laughs? Well, everyone except Ash.
Kane frowned as he sat up, making the alien slide down into his lap. “Where the hell have you guys been this whole time?”
“Trying to find the damn alien, duh,” Parker, one of their engineers, replied while biting back a smile. “But uh, heh, it seems like you already found it.”
“Hang on a minute.” Kane scanned the crew with a suspicious glare. “Were you all aware of what I was painfully enduring…this whole time?!”
“Well, I wouldn’t call it ‘painful,’” Lambert timidly pointed out, a knowing smile visible on her lips.
“So you guys did know!”
“Now, now, hold on, let us explain,” said Ripley, biting back a smile of her own. “We were trying to find the creature. We searched everywhere, but we couldn’t find it. That’s when we heard you screaming, and we rushed back, afraid that you were in danger. But when we saw what was going on…”
“We saw you weren’t actually in any real danger,” Lambert concluded.
Kane was in disbelief. “So you guys just stood there and watched?! And didn’t think to fucking help me?!”
The Nostromo crew couldn’t hold back their chuckles. “Oh c’mon, you whiner,” Parker teased. “It’s not like you needed our help anyway.”
“And besides,” Dallas couldn’t help but point out. “It’s not like you did much to try and make it stop, either.”
Kane could feel his cheeks grow warm as he knew exactly what he meant by that, but pretended not to know. “What are you talking about?”
“Don’t play dumb, Kane,” Ripley smirked. “You didn’t really put up much of a fight against that alien. But if it makes you feel any better,” she gave a comforting squeeze to her embarrassed crew mate’s shoulder. “I think you have a really nice laugh. I don’t think we’ve ever heard you laugh before, Kane, but it was really sweet to hear.”
Everyone murmured in agreement, which just made Kane blush even more. He covered his face with his hands and groaned. “Ughhhh…you guys are all assholes. The absolute fucking worst.”
The crew laughed again. “And we love you too, Kane,” Dallas patted his shoulder. Then his face grew serious as he eyed the still sleeping alien in Kane’s lap. “Now, about our guest…what do you all suppose we should do about it?”
“Well, we’ve already seen that it poses no threat to any of us, as Kane demonstrated earlier,” Parker pointed out, making said executive officer bristle at his comment. “But I still think we should contain it until we can know more about it.”
Kane seemed hesitant about that decision. “Is that really necessary, Parker? Like you said, this creature posed no threat to me as soon as I woke, and still isn’t threatening any of us right now.” He gestured to said creature curled up in his lap, faintly purring. “As silly as it sounds, I think this creature is harmless, and we have nothing to worry about. Its only purpose seems to be luring people close just to give them a thorough tickling. Now, I don’t know about you guys, but I think I’d rather have that than some kind of dangerous alien eating my face off, or implanting eggs in my chest or something. Wouldn’t you agree?”
“But wait,” Lambert broke the silence. “What about the SOS we received earlier when we found this creature? Couldn’t that still be a red flag that this thing is dangerous?”
“Actually, I looked into that a while ago,” Ripley answered. “Despite Ash’s protests for me not to, I got MU-TH-UR to decipher the transmission. Yes, it was a warning, but not the kind you would think or should panic about. The transmission explained how these creatures originated from a distant planet, and were supposedly engineered to be deadly organisms that would bring the extinction of other planets. However, something didn’t go right like they wanted, and the SOS was warning any travelers to be on the lookout for these aliens because they escaped from the crashed spaceship we encountered earlier.”
“Sooo there’s no real danger?” Brett, their other engineer, piped up.
“None,” said Ripley. “While I do agree with Parker and we should find out more about this creature, we really don’t have to worry about our safety with this thing on board. It’s actually harmless, from what I read on the transmission.”
“All right then, I guess that settles it.” Dallas turned back to look at Kane. “Looks like you’ve got yourself a roommate when we go back into stasis.”
Kane stuttered. “I—what?! Dallas, you can’t be serious..!”
Dallas gave him an apologetic smile that Kane could see right through that it wasn’t sympathetic. “Actually, I am. We’re going to need to go back into stasis again soon, and I think we’d all feel more at ease if this creature wasn’t running around loose on our ship while we’re asleep.”
“I-I get that, but—”
“And you heard Ripley, this thing’s not dangerous. And, it already seems to have grown attached to you in such a short time.” The captain suddenly smirked. “What, are you afraid that it might go after you again while you sleep?”
“That’s exactly why I don’t want this thing in my cryopod!”
The crew laughed again, but Kane wasn’t so amused. A devious idea suddenly crossed his mind. Time for a little revenge. “Oh, sure, you guys can laugh about it. But wait until you’re all suddenly on the receiving end, and we’ll see who’ll be laughing now!”
Kane gently nudged the alien awake, then gestured to the rest of his crew mates. “Hey, look, little chap…more targets!”
The alien chirped and squeaked with delight, seeing a whole buffet’s worth of new victims. It positioned itself to pounce, tail whipping around playfully as it was ready to claim its next ticklish victim.
As soon as the Nostromo crew noticed the crouching alien, they immediately stopped laughing. Everyone except Ash and Kane started backing away awkwardly. It wasn’t until the alien leapt forward that the crew shrieked in unison, and dashed out of the med bay.
Now it was Kane’s turn to laugh. “Let’s see how you astro-jerks like it!”
The alien suddenly ran back inside, making a crawl towards Kane again. He stuttered and held his hands out in defense. “H-Hey, hey, wait. Why are you going after me again? Go after the others! No…no! N-No! NonononoNO! Not again! No!” Kane dashed out of the med bay, the alien skittering after him once more while chirping mischievously.
Now alone in the med bay, Ash scowled as he heard the rest of the Nostromo crew running back and forth between floors, their distant laughter echoing. He gets sent to go undercover to retrieve a supposed deadly alien to be the perfect weapon, only to find this? An alien tickle monster?
“Tch, the fucking Weyland Yutani corporation needs to get their facts right next time. ‘Perfect organism’ my ass.”
THE END :3

More fix it au shenanigans
I have no clue why but I headcanon George to be a pretty traditional guy in the sense he thinks it’s his duty as her husband to take care of her. The kinda guy to pay for Marie’s food or her gas for her car or whatever she needs because he believes it’s what he should do as her partner. Obviously this kinda comes with the traditional role where he is the breadwinner and tbh that’s probably the arrangement they’d choose but his number one philosophy is that if she is not 100% happy he has failed as a partner.
He’s like “you want to go for a drive? I’ll fill up the car. You want to stay home with Henry? Facts here’s a wad of cash, go get the two of you an ice cream. You want to work? I already handed out 20 copies of your resume around town.”
The concept of her having to be the breadwinner AND raise Henry AND maintain their home AND be able to socialize would break his brain.
I don’t think you’d be able to comprehend the amount of sheer anger George would have at Teddy for the prank that Almost Killed Him. First obviously because dude would have to spend weeks to months in the hospital in a bunch of pain and he probably wouldn’t even get an apology, just the same stupid victim blamey “how was it my fault you almost died? You didn’t see that the completely obscured figure was totally me, dumbass” shit. But SECOND because while he’s recovering he learns he and Marie are gonna have a baby, and obviously that comes with the realization that if he’d died, his son would’ve been FATHERLESS and Marie would’ve been alone. Oh man as soon as George could walk again he’d probably go after Teddy lmao like “YOU COULDVE FUCKING KILLED ME JACKASS”
Can also see Teddy making some sort of judgy comments regarding their shotgun wedding arrangements like “you wouldn’t be getting married if Marie didn’t get knocked up” (again he puts the onus on Marie lol) and Marie starts rolling up her sleeves ready to absolutely wreck his shit but George is like “no no think of the baby. Just stay here, I’ll take care of this” and he turns like “the fuck did you say about my fiancée you elitist, classist, reckless, pompous DOUCHE?!”
