I had a crazy idea…
But as much as I love it i fear it
And yes it involves hiccup…in a way.
Emotionless hiccup tries to understand why people cry,get angry, laugh, or feel any other weird what they call ‘emotions’ over silly things, yet he fails to get it.
His mind is just blank, his chest is hollow, his eyes are lifeless, even his tone holds no emotion.
Fear,happiness,sadness, every hint of emotion.
He wants to experience it.
He wants to know Why people are making a fuzz about out.
He needs to understand.
But he just can’t…and surprise to no one, he doesn’t seem broken up about it.
Sometimes, Astrid would yell, scream, and even punch him. His reply is always “ I Don’t Feel Anything..”
He wants to feel what she feels, he wants to understand why she hits when he says anything to her.
But he just Can’t..
He feels left out..
Feels…
At least that’s something, right ?

Random httyd thw Au idea
Sometimes the crystals in thw break and eventually over time turn into glittery colorful sand
Some dragons (including lightfuries) take that sand and just kinda put it on them to look cool
I imagine It helps give other dragons an idea of what they find pretty
Example: let’s say we have the main lightfury from the movie, she has pink, if she hadn’t ended up with Toothless I imagine she’d end up with a lightfury that also had pinkish glitter sand
I imagine males would have a lot more but females would have just enough for it to be noticeable from practically any angle
I think it’d help them on choosing a mate since they would have an easier time choosing a home, I’ve seen videos of birds trying to agree on a nest but sometimes disagreeing, sometimes the female just starts nest scraping when the male still doesn’t like the one she’s chosen and looks for others and tries to call her over like “look at this! This is way better than the other one”
I think them both being able to see they have similar taste at first glance would make choosing a nest take less time
Idk just a little idea I had (it doesn’t make much sense lol, like how do they get it to stick, how does it stay after they light themselves on fire, how did they reach their backs in a way that they could make it stripe-y, but I still find the concept fun)
Okay so I’m actually insane about lycanwing Hiccup. I imagine he gets distracted by shiny objects and then gets embarrassed when people point it out

Would anyone on here be interested in my HTTYD the nine realms AU/rewrite where it doesn’t take place in the modern day anymore but instead the kids (plus maybe a few other- big maybe!) are just the next generation/children to the original dragon riders + plus some the RTTE tv show characters? Nothing too serious but something fun to talk and think about lol, just wanna see if anyone would be interested in that before I do anything with it just yet so yah

Lyf headcanons pt4
I've seen a lot of AUs and crossovers with HTTYD and can't help but think what if there was a new AU crossover of Vincenzo(kdrama) and Hiccstrid.
It would make for such an entertaining headcanon idea, like imagine a ruthless Hiccup who's playing Vincenzo being a badass mafia lawyer and Astrid being Cha Young, a brazen bold tenacious lawyer but with a twist of HTTYD universe. Although come to think about it Ruffnut's personality suits Cha Young more...
Since their personalities clash it would be messy if not written properly. But I want to see Hiccup as an antihero character who wants peace just as much as canon Hiccup and is ruthless enough to use merciless justice to achieve it. And as amazingly badass as Astrid is physically Cha Young's mental strength is something I think would very much complement these female leads very well.
Given Hiccstrid's witty comebacks and snarks (coughmainlyHiccup'scough), it would be fun to see them out of the Viking physical fighting stereotype for a bit and see Hiccstrid as badass lawyers who use wits and words instead of Inferno and the axe.
With enough backstory in this AU would be such a fun take since Vincenzo is dealing with the corruption of the law and HTTYD is dealing with adaptation and transformation from the old into the new (aka traditions to moderness).
The dragons would have to be inexistent tho. Else it's gonna be weird considering it to be a modern AU. Imagine Toothless as Inzhagi lmao.
And Viggo as Choi Myung Hee. Maybe Dagur as Park Seok Do or Hwang Min Seong. And Drago or Grimmel as Jang Han Seok. There would definitely be a lot of OC's as well.
And without the whole Maces and Talons metaphor, coz while it was a fun mind game it, soon got old with how much it was mentioned. And Viggo's actions were kind of predictable season four onwards once Hiccup match up with his game.
(P.s. this is just me being salty on the writers rtte coz some episodes especially seaason five onwards it felt more of like wasted potential rather than fulfilling. Like King of Dragons or 1&2 felt so rushed like huh?!) Anyays rants aside feel free to disagree.
Should I write it? Maybe I'll pos some headcanons here. It's gonna be a WIP.
Something that's been on my mind sense starting Stranger Things is a Httyd au. I think it'd be so cool if the kids found a Nightfury or if Eddie did I really wanna think of which dragon would fit which person this honestly sounds like so much fun the more I write about it.
Also the thought of Eddie with a Nightfury and Steve with a Lightfury just makes me so happy
Ok so I've been thinking more in depth about the stranger things httyd au and I absolutely ADORE Steddie as hicstrid. I've also been playing around with dragon ideas for the characters I know of so far (im on s1 but my roomies seen the entire show) and I wanted to share them!
Hopper with an Armorwing! Not only because armorwings are my favorite dragons but I feel like it just fits for Hopper
Max with a Monstrous Nightmare! Spunky and caring and scrappy I just feel like these two do hand in hand!
Joyce with either a Typhoomerang or maybe a Stromcutter! Typhoomerang because they are super protective of their young and having seen how much Joyce cares about her kids it seems like a good fit.
El with a Hobblegrunt! They can change their colors based on their emotions and are apparently also able to predict things that'll happen!
I haven't thought of the dragons for the others yet and im juggling alot of different ideas for which stranger things character fits which how to train your dragon character but this is alot of fun! Hit me with your dragon ideas too!
