I would love a tv show based on Hetty’s origin story. It could follow Hetty’s OG team during the Cold War. It could have a young Owen Granger, young AJ Chegwidden, Sterling Bridges, Harris Keane, and Charles Langston.
My idea is that it opens with modern Hetty telling the story before she dies, maybe tired of all the secrets. The show could focus on the Clandestine Unit.

Alarick howled. Go back. But she's dying! What can you do? You can't help her. You hurt her. You are your mother's monster after all.
Some fun Hidnight trivia, as a treat:
The girl Connor bites in this scene is named Florence and she's a character in a spin-off short story set in the same universe. Florence was originally a completely separate story I dreamed up one night as I struggled to fall asleep then later decided to put in the same world. However, its inciting incident (Florence being bitten) didn't align with the lore of Hidnight which is that only certain werewolves can transmit lycanthropy via bite (Connor becomes one of them). I then (independently) realized that I was protecting Connor from consequences too much so I let him actually fuck up and hurt people and suddenly Florence fit in the same universe!
I made this note back in May:
I keep coming up with spin-off stories set in the same world as Hidnight except no I don't because the inciting incidents fundamentally conflict with the important world logic previously established in the core story.
Coming up with these spin-offs has helped me cement the themes of the original story so it's not all bad.
I know this ia sort of an old discussion, but am I the only one who thinks that a Hale spin off show would be not all that engaging . Especially if we are talking about the time period when Derek was a child.
The nematon is cut down and inactive so it can't attract supernatural crises on the levels we saw on the show and whatever supernatural problem they do face, it can't be huge enough to attract the attention of Beacon hills' townsfolk. Of course , the show's strong point was never the plot itself, but the characters in it. However, the Hales as a family , when you exclude the fact that they are werewolves, are not all that exciting either. They are just an aristocratic, rich family that for the most part led pretty normal lives. We saw it with Derek. He went to school, played sports , had a girlfriend...
An Argent family spin off on the other hand. Now that is a show with potential. Psychologically speaking, can you imagine how enthralling it would be to witness how Gerard raised his children to be essentially weapons? How he pitted them against each other in order to make sure they never overthrow him? How Chris managed to an extent escape his conditioning, while Kate completely fell prey to it? As an added bonus, we know that the Argents move wherever they are needed so the world is their playground.
Obviously, both concepts can turn out great with the right team, but I don't know. I just felt like sharing my thoughts.

Spin-Off Movie
I sort of wish that Netflix would make a spin-off movie about Dr. Brenner maybe within the timeline of before the series started or something. I know it won’t happen because he’s such an unpopular character but I wish it would happen because I bet he has a really interesting backstory we’ll never hear.

Edit : for example monster high gens exspectly after gen2 should have let the gen1 grow up and introduce new characters they did this with howleen and I loved it for the most part
