did anyone tell anakin about the inhibitor chips or were his last memories of the 501st handing them off to ahsoka and then them proceeding to try and kill her

do u think he kept ahsoka's lightsaber along with the padawan strand in a drawer on the death star.

do u think luke ever reminded him of her.

did anakin ever get to grieve ahsoka.

i don't know if i'll ever get over the clones in star wars.

the fact that they were bred and born to fight and they weren't given options or free will. they were programmed to believe they were fighting for the right cause and they were never given a choice of how they wanted to fight or if they even wanted to. palpatine saw them as less than human, and treated them like pawns, because their lives ended up basically meaningless. they were given numbers and orders and told to follow what they were told. and yet they still ended up being so innately good and human. despite the numbers they were given they became each others family, they gave each other endearing nicknames and treated each other as individuals. palpatine treated them as a collective whereas the jedi almost always treated them as individuals, calling them by their names and valuing their lives over their own. clones were so compassionate and loving, they can always convince themselves to fight for the right thing, even if they didn't know they didn't have a choice. they always believed they would find a way and they never gave up. they never prioritized their lives over anyone else.

AND EVEN THOUGH they were created to fight for a specific cause, as soon as they were given the order to kill the jedi, they completely lost their free will. they killed the very few people who treated them like human beings, being manipulated into thinking that they were evil. and after following order 66, they weren't cared for, they were abandoned. they were left homeless and ignored by the government that they were created to fight for, having no other purpose to them. so they were left alone, and they aged rapidly and died as fast as they were born, the empire forgot about them and washed their hands of them. the galaxy only remembered their existence because of the war, and that's it. their home planet was destroyed, they were torn away from duties they swore their life to, to be replaced by people who actually got to volunteer and choose their fight.

The Ten and the Ace of Spades

You know I just have to wonder how Rex reacted when he learned what Anakin did. Because one of the most horrifying things from what happened to Fives is that he died informing Anakin about the chips.

While he was not believed at the time, once Anakin learned Palpatine was a Sith he must have figured out Fives was telling the truth. He must have realized even if it was just in the back of his head what Palpatine was planning to use the clones for, and he still went along with it.

Anakin betrayed the Jedi and the Clones. He murdered children and forced the Clones to do so against their well as well. He became a slave master in a sense. And I just have to wonder what Rex would think about that. Because I can only imagine the anger learning your former friend not only murdered children and set up an empire, but that he also forced your brothers to help, to murder children and innocents, to murder their friends in cold blood against their will and then once that was done toss them aside. I would have wanted to push Anakins face into lava if that were me because that is one huge fucking betrayal.

“The Jedi we’re wrong to fight in the Clone Wars!” How so? Should they have just ignored what happened on Geonosis aka when Dooku and the CIS leadership attempted to murder Padme(a literal senator) and then threw Obi Wan into an arena because he was pursuing said assassin and then threw Anakin and Padme in there with him? Where hundreds of them were butchered trying to rescue them by the droid army controlled by the Sith?

The Jedi not becoming generals makes nothing better. The war still happens and Palpatine has even more free reign to order Dooku to commit atrocities. The Clones still have to fight and probably are gonna be worse off. And the Republic is gonna be pissed them for refusing the draft(because the Jedi were drafted) and that means a lot less ability for the Jedi to do anything(there is only 10,000 of them without Republic support they can do little other than be a roving band of vigilantes.)

Entering the war was a sucky choice sure, but what other options do they have when confronted with the fact the Sith have an army rampaging through the galaxy? When hundreds of their members were killed by said army? When that would mean leaving the clones to fight and die? When it would cut off many way of them helping anyone? I really can’t see how sitting out is better here.
