" You were too busy favouring me, Grover and Annabeth to even care in the slightest for the other campers?! " Percy stepped away from Chiron with anger shining in his eyes. 'Percy, You wouldn't underst-" He was cut of by Percys reply. 'Oh? I wouldn't understand? I wouldn't understand how bad the campers, specifically the Ares kids, mental health is? " He snapped. Mr D sat awkwardly beside them at the kitchen table. "It wouldn't have been fair not to train you, a child of the big three-" Once again Chiron was cut of by his old favourite. "No, It wasn't fair on the other campers, it wasn't fair on anyone! Your a damn fraud!' Percy snarled. Mr D decided that was his cute to leave as he saw anger gravitating in Chirons eyes.

"Perceus, you do not understand"

"I don't understand? Yeah, Totally, If I hadn't of came to camp when I did all the other campers would have totally been cared for properly!" He sneered. " listen to me! If you continue acting like this, You will be kicked out of camp" Chiron finally lost his patience. "Okay?! Y'know what? Ares is better then you, 100%, I would rather the camp run by him then you!" Percy slammed the door behind him. Chiron took a deep breath as he approached the sink, pulling out a drachma, he managed to get an image of a familiar individual.

Thalia X Reyna Headcanons-

•They have movie nights a lot

•Thalia likes to do Reynas hair, its just so soft and silky

•They go out to cute little cafes and they always get hot chocolate

•They always end up cuddling on their couch or bed

•They go on little roadtrips every now and then

•For their first date, Thalia took her to starbucks

•On the second date, Reyna took her to a meteor show, and when it was over they went home, got a chinese takeaway and watched a movie

•Matching clothes

•Reyna looks like a monster from a Japanese horror movie without her morning coffee, so Thalia makes suyre its ready beforehand

•They once did an escape room together, it resulted in Thalia running in circles screaming, with Reyna passed out on the floor

•They take a lot of dumb pictures together

•Thalia taught Reyna how to use a skateboard

•Double Dates with Hazel and Frank

•They got matching tattoos of a sword, Reynas Idea actually

•They try to bake together, but Reyna cannot bake at all, shes terrible at it

•Thalia sometimes wears Reynas clothes, (like a hoodie, t-shirt, etc), While Reyna wears hers practically every day

•for Reynas birthday, Thalia took her to pick apples, then they went home and Thalia baked an apple pie for them, and they took it with them to watch fireworks

•They end up being granted two kids by Hera, Thalia finally forgives her for taking Jason after that, the kids are called Celeste and sora

•for Thalias birthday, Reyna took her to the zoo, afterwards they god Hot chocolate and had a picnic in a secluded area

•Thalia has nightmares about the time when she was turned into a tree, Reyna always comforts her and makes her whatever thung she wants to drink

The Marcel and Faeire thing I wrote

Marcel struts up and down the room, as Faerie lay comfortably on the bed. Their owner, Clarisse, suddenly burst in the door. she swung her schoolbag of her shoulder and plopped down at her desk. She pulled out a bunch of notebooks, textbooks and other homework tools. She began to slowly write, Marcel eyed her pencil curiously. Faerie just turned back to kneading the duvet into a perfect spot for their fluffy little head. Clarisse couldn't help but feel proud of herself for writing her entire history essay in complete cursive. “Thank the god or goddess of cursive writing” she laughed as she grabbed an English textbook and started taking notes. Marcel took this chance to jump up on her jean-clad lap. “Hey marcy” She said as she scratched the back of his ears. He purred as Faerie noticed. Jealousy overcame the smaller of the two, and they began to form a plan.

“Clarisse! Chérie!, dinners ready!’ Louise called from the dining room. Faerie mentally grinned. Marcel huffed as he was put on the ground again. Faerie began to follow his owner. She jumped down the stairs, passing Antoine and Claire on the way. When she finally reached the dining room, dinner was set out on the table already. Faeries eyes widened as they took in the feast laying in front of them. This was gonna be fun.

Marcel paced the room in annoyance. Where had that dam ferret gone!?. The door opened and Fleur, a maid, poked her head in. “Marcel, hey Kitty, c’mere!’ She gave a gentle smile. Marcel pettily approached her. “I got you a nice warm bowk of milk downstairs!” she began to explain while picking up Marcel.

When they reached the dining room. He was horrified to find Faerie sitting at the table, digging in to some fancy human food. ‘Marcel!’ Clarisse ran over to him. Suddenly, Faerie was overcome with jealousy. He lept up onto the table, slowly advancing towards the cat and human. The moment Clarisse noticed him she just sat down Marcels cat bowl infront of him and went straight to Faerie. ‘You jealous?’ she laughed. Faerie just raised his head and stuck his tongue out at the angry looking Marcel.

It was around midnight, and Clarisse was finishing her homework. She didn't know where Faerie and Marcel had gone. She scribbled down the last few words in her essay, (that was due the next morning), and flopped down on her bed. As she slept, her two pets returned from their little adventure. for some absurd reason, both pets were injured, and darting death glares at the each other. They settled down in their spits, marcel in his bed next to Clarisses, and Faerie next to her. The injuries were a problem for tomorrow.

A day in Clarisse La Rues University Life

Clarisse threw her bag onto her shoulder as she left her room. She arrived in the shared kitchen, where one of her dorm mates, Ivory, was making pancakes. ‘Hey’ She said as she walked past. ‘Hold on a minute, your not having breakfast?’ Ivory asked worriedly. ‘Oh shoot! sorry I forgot’ She replied, rubbing the back of her neck. ‘Okay, you can have pancake. Can you get the nutella and syrup out of the cupboard?’

She dropped down onto her seat between two of her friends, Cain and Kiojah. The lecturer, Mrs. Flemminghan arrived at their table. ‘Hello dears, so how did you get on with the assignment?’ she gave a gentle smile. ‘Great! My cat Marcel helped by trying to eat my pencil and sit on the Song Of Achilles’ Clarisse laughed, as did her friends and Mrs. Flemmingham. She moved into the next row as Clarisse took out her notebook. She would need it when the lecture actually began.

‘Clarisse? Please stay for a moment!’ Mrs. Flemminghams soft voice rang out around the class. The other students all looked confused as they left the room. Cain, Kiojah and Celeste all seemed to consider staying behind, but decided against it. ‘Dear, I just wanted to tell you that you have created a beau take on the assignment, (if Achilles and Patrocles could be with each other again). The way you portrayed their undying love for one another, is just heart touching' she smiled. Clarisse was taken aback by the complement. ‘Thank you Mrs.’ She replied. ‘Well you must get going, I have a feeling Celeste is waiting for you outside’ Mrs. Flemmingham smiled as she fixed her collar. ‘Okay, bye!’ Clarisse smiled back at her as she left the classroom.

she arrived back in her dorm around five. she had gone out for lunch with her friends, studied and gone to lectures. She checked her monster proofed phone, to see her cousin had texted her.

Aurette: Hey cuz <3 Hows uni?

she couldn't help but smile as she replied.

Clarisse: Good! Hows everything back in france?

Aurette: Its well, can't wait for Xmas when you return!

Clarisse: Me too, I do like it here too tho

She put her phone back in her pocket. She dragged herself up to the narrow hallway and into her room. Once in there she dropped down onto her chair and pulled out her creative writing assignment. It was supposed to be a 1630’s romance dialogue, and so she began to write. It took three hours before she was done. She had only paused for dinner and bathroom breaks. she put it back in her bag, and quickly skimmed through her english notes. all good. She put them back as well, and flopped down onto her bed. Marcel returned from his new bed upon the desk, and clambered back into his original one. Faerie continued cuddling with a random tree branch clarisse was emotionally attached to. within moments a musical mixture of heavy breathing, a fat cat snoring and a ferret making high pitched sounds out of its nose rang out from the dorm room. Another day was over

I’ve been obsessed with Percy Jackson since I was 11, and EPIC since Warrior of the Mind was trending

Only option is to combine them

Annabeth is Odysseus’ reincarnation and Percy is Penelope’s

None of the other characters are reincarnations but the give Anndysseus PTSD (Grover, Thalia, and Luke specifically)

The gods are from EPIC meaning Athena is a good mum and loves Annabeth (She cried when she realised who Annabeth was (which she learned before everyone else))

Both Anndysseus and Pernelope have dreams of their past but chalk it up to godly weirdness.

Annabeth will have knowledge about something she shouldn’t be capable of knowing (Child of Athena, right?) and Percy is way to ocean-y (The genes are strong with this one, Poseidon)

Headcannons for Bianca if she were ever brought back:

- Step down from the huntresses, I agree with thinking that she joined because she thought it were a way to experince what she couldn’t have but I think if she were revived, it’d be different

- Birthday is in late May (she gives off those vibes)

- Shadow travel, seeing and talking to ghosts, is able to see the Norse side and help (like, imagine her mom was part Norse and she inherited a lot of it and is able to help those people adjust to everything and knows which Greek/roman people are in there)

- I feel like she’d take a while to adjust to history because she didn’t get it like Nico did or even like Hazel— she’s basically on her own and I’d imagine she’d just go into a library one afternoon and stay until closing just reading about history and all that’s happened in the past 80 years.

- Wouldn’t know how to approach Nico— I mean how would you talk to someone like that? He’d probably be angry too, so I’m imagining she’d start with Thalia who told her to contact Hazel first in order to ease into conversations with Nico calmly since he’d have a lot of emotions

- I feel like she’d have a sarcastic sense of humor, like I feel like she’d get along with Kayla but not really step into always hanging out to give Nico space with his friends

- She’d probably hangout with Thalia a lot since they have stuff in common, both having to be mothers when they didn’t want to be and losing everyone for a while— leaving and then coming back. All that.

- Angry at Percy for being violent with her brother but mostly gives him dirty looks when she’s angry (that’s sorta in the book too)

- Claustrophobic

- Overwhelmed by everything that’s going on— Apollo’s a good guy, three massive wars/battles, having another sibling, actually being allowed to contact the Norse side (I feel like that wouldn’t have been okay until the Roman and Greek sides got along, and then it’s okay to contact and do stuff like that.)

- Be friends with Annabeth, I feel like they’d share a bit of appreciation for architecture especially since Bianca has been all over the country. I also think Bianca is very logical and that’s something they’d bond over— Annabeth would want to be friends with her granted everything that went down and Bianca is able to give her much safer updates about her cousin until safe phones are created

Hades kids headcannons (with Apollo kids too and one really angsty one):

- When Hazel starts to get stressed out, like panic attack almost, she goes to Bianca and they talk through it. Nico introduced them at one point, and they had already met once prior, so they are close. (Last part I’ll explain in a later post lol)

- I think Lee and Will both share the same pain, a bit upsetting but Lee had to see more and more siblings join him and Will had to see them all leave. Nico is there for Will, and Will has processed it more and Lee feels proud of Will and his other siblings- he talks to Michael a lot.

- Frank and Hazel are still in the beginning of their relationship since they’ve had to deal with a war and Apollo’s stuff and so now I think they’re finally focusing on their relationship.

- Nico isn’t exactly emo, but he is edgy and Hazel teases him about it sometimes. Same with Will and Kayla. I mean edgy as in this sort of thing:

Hazel: Nico I swear, why is your entire closet just black clothes??

- I feel like since Bianca and Hazel have a good relationship, they’d open up more to eachother and teach eachother stuff like Bianca showing her how to use more powers and telling her how to contact Valhalla when necessary, and Hazel telling her about she and Nico and history.

- Michael and Bianca argue, a LOT. Not like, I hate you arguing but more like “I mildly dislike you”

- Hazel has met a lot of the people Percy talks about, but she doesn’t tell people that she goes down when she’s stressing although she has Hades’s approval, especially since she’s going down there specifically for Bianca.

Okay how Hazel and Bianca originally met in my AU is that when Bianca had got down there, she passed by Hazel and saw her and could sense that she was a Hades camper in the same way Nico could so they sat with eachother and Hazel let Bianca process it all and Hazel talked about her life until they knew something was off in the underworld and Bianca had to go— Hazel didn’t realize it was Bianca until when they met again, but she was happy to know her like that.

Part of me finds it so hard to make AU’s/headcannons for characters who passed because there’s always that thing in your mind going THEY PASSED.

Jason Grace as an example, I wish that it had never happened because I make so many AU’s where he comes back but it never feels good because there’s that feeling in the back of your mind— and I ship and love Valgrace which makes it no better

I’d like to think that after TOA Apollo starts to listen to his kids— ESPECIALLY with Will, Kayla and Austin.

Like I know Will thinks in TSATS that it’d be a while before his dad showed up again, but what if he just did even thought it’s assumed he wouldn’t.

Anytime one needs someone to talk to or is upset, Apollo shows up.

Birthdays, Apollo shows up.

Graduations, Apollo shows up.

Like I know he’s a god, but I feel like all that went down would change his mind for a while. Like,

Artemis: Dude you were supposed to be here an hour ago, what happened?

Apollo: Sorry, Austin had a band concert.

He’d visit them over the summers at camp more often/that’s when they’d see him most of the time but he’d show up.

okay so i have a random history x pjo headcanon that is hilarious. it shouldn't make sense and yet-

king edward iv of england as the son of apollo.

hear me out here. there's all these theories about how edward iv was illegitimate, right? a lot of them don't really have that much of a basis, some of them do, yada yada. it's a very confusing topic in general. the main reason is because we think the birth/conception timeline is weird.

what a lot of people do argue is that cecily neville (edward iv's mom) allegedly had an affair with some archer while richard of york, her husband, was away. who's a god of archery? APOLLO. edward iv went on to become the first undisputed york king of england. what is a motif often associated with the house of york? THE SUNNE IN SPLENDOUR. the sun. which is apollo's territory according to pjo. there's other normal stuff, like edward looked pretty and had a lot of affairs, etc etc.

"but edward iv was a redhead!" and? there's no written rule apollo kids have to be blonde. who knows.

Headcannon that when solangelo has their wedding Hades and Apollo do cringey and embarrassing dad dances just cause why not and you can't stop them

My personal head canon about will’s ability to play music is that he can’t technically play but no matter how hard he tries to sound bad he’s amazing at any instrument. Like he could have a broken guitar with only 2 strings attached and he can still absolutely shred.

HC about Hazel Levesque: because of the trauma of being alone in Asphodel for so long, she doesn't like to sleep alone. If she's around someone she feels safe with, she usually ends up in their bed at night.

Nico, being Hazel's brother, is her most frequent victim. She moves a lot in her sleep, so it's not very comfortable for him. Sometimes she pushes him out of his bed in her sleep, and sometimes he wakes up choking on her hair.

He doesn't have the heart to kick her out of his own bed.

I need to rant about my favorite characters and how I’ve characterized them, and my Camp Jupiter/ PJO Romans are-Imagining-

*Correction; I just rant about Octavian from HoO the entire time; I’ll post an Luke one and a Jason one and some other characters maybe later. Along with those Camp Jupiter things.

Guys this is written stream of consciousness (I think); so sorry :[ (I also kind of project of these characters but that’s what happens with faves)

Octavian-

My boy- my darling little guy. I love this little deranged war criminal; uncle Rick did him dirty; he was used as the butt of the jokes (like many of the Romans, I’m doing an entire Camp Jupiter re-imagining that I’ll probably post here) but he was a plot device too- but I love my guy. He’s poorly written (in my unprofessional opinion) he doesn’t have any characterization other than “I don’t like the Greeks, they aren’t cool >:[“ and I’ll be honest; I like Rome better (I am biased) but after we get a character written like Luke Castellan (I know- I know we aren’t supposed to like him, but like- cmon, hear me out) where he’s written pretty well in my opinion, with a clear tragic story and motivation. Octavian feels like a very watered down more comedic Luke; in the worst way. But I; as someone who needs as much information on something as I can and I’m not satisfied with just that, have scanned through the wiki; looked at all of his scenes and giggled in his general direction, and this is my head-canons (and probably art too let’s be honest) on the little guy

Octavian Cesaer-

My boy is 100% mixed in my heart. In my brain his father is Black and his mother is white.

BIG family; my man’s is the 8th out of 9 children (Julia; THAT Julia is also his younger sister. I saw that head canon somewhere and snatched it)

He has a really good and close friendship with Michael Kahale; they are genuinely good friends, and Octavian enjoys his presence

(In my Camp Jupiter AU, re-imagining? Idk- but in the thing, I’m re-searching actual Roman legion structure and rankings, etc. because from characterization of the Romans they would not be up to change anything about the legion) but Octavian’s working to try and rise up to the most important role (Praetors aren’t the most important position in my brain for the re-imagined) and only supported Jason’s name change idea begrudgingly is because that would make him Primus Pilus; and he wanted the promotion. (This headcanon may change once I continue to fiddle with how I want to interpret C.J)

Cannot keep his hair legion-regulation, Octavian has a rough love-hate relationship with the hair. He *really* does not appreciate it at times. It’s overgrown and pushed to the left.

I like to think of my Octavian (Octavian 2: electric bogaloo) as being somewhere on the Autism spectrum. It’s another head-cannon I adopted somewhere and have just clung onto. It tickles the right part of my brain.

Knows everything about Rome; like actually. And Troy; he really liked the Aenead(?) when he was younger, if anyone asked his favorite Trojan was Hector (it was totally Andromache, he felt really bad for her. And sobbed during Hector’s farewell. Yes I am somewhat projecting).

His family pressured him a lot into his roles, he does genuinely like his Augur role.

This man lives and breathes the legion. Genuinely loves his home and wants to protect it; just ends up coming off as kind of paranoid.

He didn’t get much attention as a kid (with his 8 other siblings) so he tries really hard for his voice to be heard and over-explains and tries to be very clear when he’s wanting to get his message across. Most people interpret him (as said MANY times in the books) as kind of desperate to be listened to and a little whiny

Really takes his rules seriously and doesn’t like when people don’t follow him. There has been a many ‘but that’s not fair >:[‘ with my little guy.

Octavian is a REGULAR at the build-a-bear in Berkeley. He mostly uses them for Auguries when he needs something fresher. But he does sometimes keep them (he impulsive buys anytime they have a bird one, he also literally stayed up refreshing the website when he saw the, “Wolf Pup build-a-bear online exclusive” and was one of like the first people to buy it.

He bleaches his hair. That’s it :] I’m un-equipped to try and talk about a hairstyle I think he has because I am not the person to talk about black hairstyles without making a fool of myself. Though he does really like Hair rings, he thinks their a cool way to have some nice casual looking added bling to his usual outfits

This man wears majority of Hand-me-downs. Those shirts SWAMP him because his older brothers just had to be good archers

On that note about Archery- Octavian sucks at archery but is pretty good with other long-ranged weapons. Any spear/javelin/pole arm and he’s got it (based off of him being able to spear Gwen, from what I think was a ways away) and I’d like to think if the situation is dire he can throw his dagger pretty well.

He’s currently got the strongest prophetic powers in his family; and his family (I think this is mentioned somewhere- I dunno it’s late) goes back to being related to Augustus Caesar (the guy)

Isn’t a good artist. He doesn’t like not being good at anything artistic when he has things he really does want to paint or draw that don’t come out how he wants them to.

Octavian has problems with anger, totally. Stabbing stuffed animals isn’t really a good method to let out anger

People don’t give him enough credit for his part on the raid of mount Tam; sure Jason did the whole ‘topple Kronos’s black throne’ (which is a genuine achievement that Jason deserves and I love him-) but he also led the first cohort to battle against majority of the monsters; the first cohort were the first ones to storm of course-

I love him he’s so silly and goofy <3 uhhhhh. He’s also a people pleaser

He has a disappointed-mother-resting face.

Does the thing with the nose bridge pinching way too much.

He tugs on his hair when frustrated or annoyed or anything.

If anyone does pay attention to this account my next posts are probably going to be either Octavian art, more Calliope design things, or more likely stuff on my Re-imaging of Camp Jupiter/New Rome as someone with Ancient Rome as a special interest I really want to make my version of Camp Jupiter

Old books And Ye olde Camp Jupiter

NOTE!! The actual stuff about PJO is about 5 paragraphs in; so if you want to slip my bad rambling about two very old epics, I have it headed)

I’ve been reading the Iliad (just finished it, still try to spell it with two L’s 😎) and I’m working on the first books of the Odyssey (with Telemachus doing his thing) and I’ll say; first it was an actual joy, a riot, a rollercoaster, to read the Iliad. There has been very few books where I’ve laughed as much in character dialogue interactions (that sounds so funky but I genuinely did giggle about it) and it was just so silly goofy and fun, and I have it annotated so I can start talking about certain things

And I’ve just started the Odyssey; which it certainly does feel like a sequel (that sounds mean, but it feels the same way that reading daughter of the moon goddess and then heart of the sun warrior; amazing books by the way, go pick them up)

And it’s really fun to consume some version of the original stories and Epics and comparing it to media created with it (I say that like I’ll talk about more than just PJO and the literary choices Rick made on how to interpret and use the gods and stuff. I still am getting around to reading TSOA but it scares me man)

But, I really don’t know what I’m trying to get at

Just that the books are fun and it is generally super fun and interesting to read and even though the first few books of the Odyssey are feeling a bit like a Jason or Piper chapter; I’m pushing through to read Odysseus and his journey; and so I can eventually get to the Aeneid and annoy my friends even more with fun things about Rome and giggle in my classes;

Along with that! I’d want to talk more about pre-modern CHB and CJ; seeing as my history class is going through the slog that is colonial history currently and I need someway to stimulate my brain other than writing facts about Mainz Gladius while people are talking about the Salem Witch Trials (my class is feral and gross and they have a big lack of nuance and maturity to think and process the events without being absolute idiots- that sounds mean but they’re annoying and I need to vent)

But I’d like to say there are things we know basically about sides that Greeks and Romans sided on; and because I apparently allergic to discussing Greek demigods at the moment, I’m listing Rome :3

We know that in PJO Roman demigods and the Roman side tends to want to side with rising empires almost inherently; or just rising… things. *cough, cough, the Confederacy, cough, cough*. But aside from that; we can base the ideas that,

1) we can probably confirm that there was a drop in Greco-Roman demigod participation in wars out of the Americas after it (the pantheon and the majority of the demigod groups) moved; though we can probably confirm until after North America became a Economic powerhouse that if following Riordanverse canon; that the Gods moved to New York (if we want to push it, they probably were in Massachusetts in the late 1600s the earliest in America; though I’d say they hadn’t moved until America started like doing good in like what post WII? I think-?)

*A note that is for my Re-imagining, I am seriously considering not moving Pantheons from their native lands; since that leaves a kind of bad taste in my mouth and it makes the Gods and Olympus almost… too accessible for demigods; in the most likely case I’ll pull the Greek Pantheon back onto Olympus in Greece (and I will probably make a point that American demigods can and usually when they need to get to Olympus on their own, can access Olympus through the Olympic mountain range in Washington; I am in Washington, and therefore biased, along with that being the OLYMPIC mountain ranges, I mean, it’s RIGHT THERE guys; how could I not capitalize.) and I might possible move CJ over to being in Italy (though I like the Idea of having CJ just being right there in the Bay Area; before reading tLO and just hearing about them, I thought they were located in Italy, and this all depends on what I do once I start storyboarding Re-imagined) anyway, back on topic,

2) that I’d assume for the most part, as we see that New Rome likes setting Camps up 1) in the west, and 2) near rivers (and we can probably infer it would be somewhat closer to the Equator, or a warmer area). That I think the most likely place that in the Colonial Americas, Romans settled could be,

(This is all using names from Colonial times of Colonies)

A) in British Honduras (Belize); along the Belize river. As we know that Romans supported the British during the revolutionary war, it follows my criteria of being in a warmer climate, and near a river; though it isn’t exactly west, though in proportion to where the early Greek settlers would be, it certainly works, but it puts them far from the revolutionary and just USA so probably not; it’s the middle choice.

B) in New Spain (specifically the portion of California); along the Sacramento River. As Spain was a rising empire at some moment, it is along a river, warm climate, and certainly west. The fact that the Romans would have to be in American territory to still fight in the civil war; so this would be one of my more outlandish concepts.

C) in North Carolina (or just Carolina depending on the time) along the Cape Fear river. This puts them along a river, warm climate, not west but it would be in the direct opposite (as I’d put Greek demigods hiding out amongst the northern colonies or the middle colonies even) and it puts them both in a heavily loyalist (or a colony that supported being part of the British empire) colony; where it would be fitting for them to fight on the side of the Brits, AND a colony that would be in the Confederacy; meaning that they would be in prime position for both wars; I am quite proud of this, and if I needed to put a direct town as example for an area for Romans; I’d say Fayetteville, I’d put the legions settlement across from Fayetteville- in that strip of land between the main Cape Fear river and the river breaking off called south river I think. I am very proud of this one

But yeah! This post originally was going to be about the Iliad and the Odyssey; but I got side-tracked so there are some of my Colonial New Rome ideas, uh, I hope people see the sort of effort I put in for figuring out geological locations for ideas of Camp Jupiter; I might make a post of just a timeline for where Camp has been located through the years- it’s a fun little thought experiment, id also say pre- really big colonialism of the Americas, that the Romans temporarily were first with Spain (I didn’t chose Portugal despite the fact that during that time they had the whole seafaring empire thing, but the Greeks would totally be supporting them) then the Romans go with the British Empire, briefly go down to the confederacy, then stick with America.

Talking about Piper McLean?!?!

We all know that Piper is repeatedly characterized that she is a vegetarian because of a meat factory thing- idk I haven’t read the books in a few months and I don’t want to go look at specifics,

But, I’m saying this as someone that currently at least; doesn’t like piper’s character too much, I find her boring, minorly annoying. Her personality gets a little same-ey and reading her chapters is boring- incredibly boring.

Okay finally the point; what if Piper’s clear empathy and compassion for animals extend to monsters? Am I saying make Piper a pacifist? No, at least not really. But making her much more averse and against killing monsters, that sounds interesting. The only other character that we get that has some sort of overall attachment to monsters is Octavian. And I think Piper getting this facet of character to her sounds interesting

But I don’t really talk about CHB kids; so this is new, and I will do more with them.
