Imagine Connor and Travis intentionally avoiding Luke in the battle of Manhattan because they knew that the second they saw him they would just break down because that’s their brother. Who helped them go back to sleep after nightmares. Who showed them the best hiding spot in camp. Who taught them where Chiron hides the keys to the camp van. Who taught them to swim. Who warned them of how awful Hermes was and not to try to make him proud because he never would be.

Will Solace headcanon (with campers hating Will's kids band aid)

It's ugly and hideous, somehow didn't match with literally everyone's aesthetics. Like, the Aphrodiate cabin is the embodiment of beauty/love, they can make anything look fabulous on them. Except for Will's unholy band aids, they will break a person's nose if they saw just a glimpse sight of it.

Percy straight out cried when Will gave him a disgustingly drawn blue cat that look suspiciously like "Gumball choking on a brick" band aid.

Annabeth went speechless at her cartoon-ish spider with puppy eyes and eight seaweed legs.

Clarisse is straight up going to murder everyone in the infirmary with her Hello Kitty and Dora the Explorer cross-over one.

Even his own siblings. Kayla felt the urge to disown him when he gives her the Tom&Jerry ft.Skrek immersion. Austin conflicted if he should cry or break his beloved brother's neck when he saw this—this uwu teletubby thing that had pepperoni for eyes, displayed on the band aid.

Nico had it worst, he is filled with band aids. There are cursed Frozen with Olaf having Elsa's face, lots of Family guy ones— and what the hades is that Mickey Mouse with babies hands? These are kids band aids? Bro—holy hera whats with that heart band aid—is that even a heart? A real heart? Or just someone's boo boo? Like eveywhere on his hands, face, arms, forehead and dude—why are there sticky notes in Nico's hair they aren't even band aids and—why are they Will's doctor notes? no...its not doctor's notes its...ligma? wendys? landon? tulips wh what—what?

No need to wonder, because everyone knows where they went. Did the Hermes kids wake up one morning and realize that their cabin, the home of unclaimed demigods, felt spacious for the first time in years?

At the battle of Manhattan, how did it feel to look across enemy lines and see your sibling? A best friend? A crush? A familiar face from across the campfire?

Did Kronos’ army help you feel at home on your first day at camp? Did they carry you to the infirmary after a nasty game of capture the flag? Were they your first kiss? Did they place a steadying hand on your back as you climbed up the rock wall, making sure you were safe? 

As demigods on both sides of the war drew their swords, was it like looking in a mirror? How must it have felt, to be prepared to fight and kill someone just like you?

we are back honey (life in college still busy, but we are back) after more than a year since I posted the moodboard one, I thought, because of the announcement of Thalia's actress in the series, it was time to update the pics, so here I am, enjoy it

You know what's even more gut wrenching?THERE BEING KIDS AS YOUNG AS SIX YEARS OLD In this war. And the newbies who just entered the camp Ind are months away from war (because not everyone is a percy jackson who can fight the for if war at 12 and win) who think they would be finally recognised by their parents. The trio thalia and nico got rewarded. What about the others? AND THEM HAVING TRAUMA FOR LIFE. Imagine them not knowing what the hell is going on but their brothers sisters and feeends are fighting and them getting hurt too. Imagine a kid. A LITERAL FUCKING KID WHO EAS SUPPOSED TO FRESHLY ENTER/GRADUATE FUCKING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL going to war with weapons twice their size.

Imagine these kids fighting wildly to protect their siblings and their goal of getting recognised, imagine them dying without a say.

This is why I headcanon as gruesome as it is for the Athena cabin to dwindle in numbers. Its original number was around 12 I headcanon them dropping to 9-7 members and most of the fallen are the young ones. The kids who have their whole life ahead of them. The kids whose final years and months were nothing but war. Whose innocence would be stripped away from their body because of said war.

They’re a year apart it’s confirmed in trials of Apollo in the first book

So this woman had two children with the same god in two years time I needed a book about her yesterday

"I want x spinoff, I want a book about y"

I want to meet the woman who had not one but TWO kids with Hermes. Two kids so close in age and are so alike people just assume that they're twins, two kids who are chaos personified, who singlehandedly run the camp shop, who are in charge of the biggest cabin at camp and look after their equally chaotic gremlin siblings plus every unclaimed kid at camp like Lou Ellen a daughter of Hecate and another being of chaos who learnt it all from them, and who take every opportunity to fuck shit up, to prank their camp mates or to steal shit. Their last name, which they get from their mama? Stoll by the way. Neither child notices the pun.

I want to meet Mama Stoll, who saw the chaos, who saw the bullshit Hermes brought into her life the first go around and said tonight's the night let's do it again. She is either the world's greatest cat burglar who enticed the god of Thieves or the messenger god was enchanted by the best god dam delivery woman on the planet. There's no in-between. It was just a bonus that her surname was the perfect pun. Her and Hermes laugh about it. In my head, it's all canon. Regardless, she unleashed two agents of unlimited chaos onto an unsuspecting world, and I love her for it. I take my hat off to her, I kneel before her.

Oh, and the oldest kid, Travis? He's dating a girl called Katie, who is the daughter of Demeter. Her last name? Gardner. Fucking Gardner. She has a sister called Miranda Gardiner, by the way. Mama Stoll finds it hilarious. Her sons still don't get the pun, but at least she gets on with her future daughter in law like a house on fire.
